Chapter 39: Plan B
- A week later, Emperor palace -
After his wedding, Nick Lang had been busy to please his new wife. Even though he didn't love her at the slightest, he didn't dislike their sex life. The busty woman was good enough to satisfy his longing toward Venusa Shen.
Today was the first time, he watched all of the new soldiers trained their martial art.
From all 400 of them, only about ten outstanding newbies were sticking out with their capabilities. While the rest of them was just trash...
His gaze was landing on a little boy, he couldn't tell of his age, his face looked older while his physique looked younger, but his talent for martial art was pretty good.

Nick Lang was thinking that something was not quite right and he needed to investigate more of the young boy.

She nodded and lovingly said," Be careful brother!!"
At that same moment, the East gate area was disturbed by a big fire..., all of the newbies was ordered to carry out water and put out the fire.
Nick Lang felt something was definitely out of order, instead of going to the East Gate, he headed to the West gate and he caught Leah Shen trying to run away...
"Leah.., what are you doing? Do you want to leave your mother?!!"
She paused and cursed inwardly..., time for plan B...

Then she saw her brother giving her a signal at a further distance behind the bushes right behind Nick Lang...
Right when her brother mouthed 'Now', she reached out a foggy bomb from the hidden pocket inside her dress and threw it at Nick Lang...
The impact was strong enough to throw Nick Lang's body to the ground and the pink smoke was clouding the whole area and she ran...
She ran and ran and ran...
Finally, she saw Lone Wolf waiting for her by the East Gate entrance and she was saying the password word, just to be sure he was the right person...
The escape plan was successful....
Lone Wolf carried Leah Shen body like a grain sack..., and without any difficulty, he headed to the Emperor mountain...
While after a short while, the emperor soldiers were finally appeared to help out Nick Lang...
"Chase her!!", ordered Nick Lang.
Thor was stand by for plan B and he was pretending to carry Leah, but it was just a dummy on his shoulder...
He ran in the opposite direction and all the soldiers were chasing after him...
Alex Lee smiled with triumph but Nick Lang felt his presence and caught him trying to leave...
He connected the dot...
"Stop!! Alex Lee!! Since Leah Shen escape..., I will take you as a hostage instead!!"
He was coming after him with a high punch but Alex Lee evaded it easily and without wasting any time, he threw a sleeping powder on Nick Lang's face.., immediately he went to the dream world.
Surely, Alex Lee could beat Nick Lang, but why would he wasted his energy and time when a simple method would do the work...
In a short time, he regrouped with Strong Wolf and Fiery Wolf.., together, they headed to a hiding location nearby the palace...
The closer they were at the dangerous place.., the safer they would be...
Next..., they would attack them as soon as his dad's army arrived...
- Marshal Shen army camps -
After one hour...
Lone Wolf delivered Leah Shen safe and sound...
Leah Shen ran toward Marshal Shen...
"Daddy!!!"
"Leah!!"
Leah jumped to hug him and instinctively, he carried her while asked her with concern," Are you alright, princess?!"
"Brother Alex safe me!"
Damian Shen smiled at the news, indeed his genius son always managed to surprise him...
Venusa was running toward them when someone relayed the happy news to her.
"Leah.., your back!!!"
She was giving Leah a group hug. Leah was crushed in the middle with a loving warmth..., she enjoyed the moment of connection between her and her new mom. The loving woman flowery scent had enticed her like a motherly smell, moreover, she felt a genuine love come forth from within her new mom soul and together they bond as mother and daughter..., unlike her fake mother strong scent that created a wide disconnection between them, for not only that she hated the foul perfume smell but also when her fake mother hug her, she could feel that she restraint herself and just coldly gave her a one minute hug dutifully.
For the longest time, they were just hugging.., but Leah Shen was sobbing hard of the warmest feeling that she never experienced before...
A feeling that someone wanted her and loved her.
"Are you alright?!!", both of them was asking for her wellbeing at the same time.
She gradually smiled like sunrise and she kissed both of them on the cheek and said, " I am fine now that I am with my loving family!!"
Due to her princess syndrome she complained and pointed at Lone Wolf direction, " The brute didn't even stop when I asked him, he was going so fast I got a nausea!!"
Lone Wolf shrugged coldly while explaining," No time to spare..., at this moment...Young Master was waiting for us to launch an attack, we should get going now!!"
"Is he alright?!", asked Venusa while picking Leah up to carry her while signaling Damian to prepare to leave.
"Nothing can hurt my Young Master!!", answered Lone Wolf with loyalty and big affection.
"We need someone trustworthy to protect Leah!!", Venusa enlightened gaze met Willis fixated one and she requested warmly," Willis..., I trust that you would help us to keep her safe?!"
Straightforward, he answered, " I will protect her with my life, madam!!"
Willis Shenbi accepted the task without question, despite that he wanted to fight the enemy head-on, he knew that he was the only person worthy to protect the little princess.
Within minutes, they were ready to face the enemy...
Time to destroy the evil monarch...
