Chapter 18: The deal with Sunbo Family 2
"Wait!" Yassmine said: "This man isn't the head of Sunbo Family."
"What!" Adam stared at her in surprise.
"He is just a D-ranker. I can measure his Inner Energy with my Energy Sense Technique. Their leader should be at least a C-ranker." she explained.
"What's the meaning of this? Does the patriarch of Sunbo Family refuse to meet us?" Yassir asked angrily.
"I am so sorry. I am indeed not the leader but I am his son Mr.Ayoub. My father couldn't meet you because he is severely injured. Three days ago, he was attacked by a new gang that appeared in our village. My father tried to fight them but he lost and now we are obliged to give them 50% of our family's monthly revenue."
"Please help us kick this gang out of the village. And I am on behalf of the family I will give you copyrights of all the skills that my family created."
Mr.Ayoub made a sign to the guard on his right and the latter nodded then left the room. And after a while, he came back with three scrolls on his hands.
"My family has three skills: Inner Energy Fist, Weapon Reinforcement, and Weapon Enchantment." The leader's son explained then he gave the skills to Adam. "Please, check them out."
Adam took the skills and inspected them quickly. Then said: "How many fighters does your family have?"
"Me, a three stars D-ranker, five E-rankers and twenty normal fighters with enchanted swords," he said. "My father is a one-star C-ranker. But he is very injured now he won't be able to fight."
"Ok deal. I am gonna help you chase this gang out of the village. But My friends here aren't going. It will be just me and your family against the enemy."
"Forgive my manners, sir. But can I know your level? After all, my father was a C-ranker and still lost."
"I am just a D-ranker."
"What? Are you kidding me? How could a D-ranker help us? Please just leave already. It seems that we should just give the gangsters what they want."
"Wait! I am also helping you." Yassmine said.
"Wherever Adam goes, I go with him," Yassir said.
"No! Guys, you are not going anywhere this is my business."
"Don't be silly, you won't be able to win against the gang leader alone. After all, even a C-ranker was defeated." Yassmine responded.
"This is very dangerous. I can't drag you into this with me. You may even die. Did you get that?"
"Man, We are fighters. We are not afraid of death. Well, we are. But we are still going. We can defeat them if we fight together" Yassir added.
"Ok, ok, but be careful." Adam sighed. "When are we going?"
"Now," the middle-aged man who became excited said. "I am gonna inform all the fighters in the family to get ready."
"Wait! Do you know where the gang is located?" Adam said.
"Yes, after they had come last time to collect the tax, we sent a spie after them."
"Great!"
Adam, Yassmine, and Yassir stayed in the guest room for 30 minutes waiting for the other fighter to get ready. They spent their time discussing the attack's plan while drinking green tea(an expensive type of tea used for relaxation, usually served to special guests).
After finishing their preparation the group headed toward the backyard where an old yet large bus was waiting for them. Around thirty men of different ages and shapes, swords hanging from their belts entered the bus in a long row like warriors responding to the call of duty. the only teenager in the group were Adam and his friends.
After another 30 minutes, the bus reached its destination, the south side of frost village, an abandoned previous industrial area. Now, it serves as a shelter for homeless people and runaway kids.
"The warehouse right there is where this new gang settles down." One of Mr.Ayoub's servants
said while pointing at the old big building in front of them.
The group wasted no time as they began their attack as soon as the servants finished his sentence.

The rusted iron door of the old warehouse was opened by Adam's heavy kick.
The group of fighters rushed inside with Adam and his two friends at the front.
"Well, well, well! Who do we have here?" a handsome blonde-haired man in his early twenties stood up from the sofa, then he asked with a delicate girly voice that echoed through the space.
Following their leader's action, his underlings stood up intentionally at the same time to intimidate the intruders by their big number.
"I am the son of Sunbo Family. You bastards have attacked my father. Now, I am gonna take my revenge." Ayoub said as he walked to the front.
"To whom I owe the honor of meeting the king?" the blonde-haired guy said while looking at Adam instead of Ayoub.
"How dare you ignore me? All of you, attack." Ayoub said angrily.
Adam, Yassmine, and Yassir targeted the gang's leader while Mr.Ayoub and his underlings attacked the other gang members.
"The king seems angry. Have I offended your highness somehow?" the gang leader just kept standing while looking to Adam with his creepy smiley face.
"Cut the crap, psycho," Yassir said while trying to punch him in the face.

A dark tentacle grew instantly from the man's shadow and slapped Yassir in the face which sent him flying.
Yassir crushed with the wall then fell on his knees.
"This is your punishment for interrupting my conversation with his highness."
"Is that what you got?" Yassir shouted as he stood up from the floor. He took a circular metallic object the size of his hand and placed it on his chest.
"Metallic Lion Armor," Yassir said and the shiny object started to spread around his skin forming a heavy silver Armor with the lion's head-like helmet, a short hammer in his right arm and a long shield on his left.
Meanwhile, Yassmine activated her wind-based skill, Wind Fairy Wings. As the name indicated, two beautiful green wings grew on Yassmine's back.
"Feather Storm," she unleashed a barrage of sharp feathers toward the blonde-haired man.
The later dodged with great speed. In one breath he was able to reach Yassmine. She was about to fly but he grabbed her from the neck.
"What a beautiful girl. If you agree to be my girlfriend, I may spare your life."
"Inner Energy Fist"
Adam's fist that was about to hit him in the face, was blocked by a black tentacle that came out for the man's shadow.
"You shouldn't sneak attack me, my king."
"Shut the hell up."

"Inner Energy legs"
The blonde-haired man took the kick head-on. In such a short distance he hadn't enough time to block the attack with the tentacles.
He was pushed back a few steps then spat a mouthful of blood.
"HaHaHa, Such a good reaction. As expected from the king. But with your current level, you are too weak to fight me. Stop wasting time with this weakling and learn how to control your ability. Only then your true power will be awakened."
"What are you talking about? You don't even know who I am." Adam said.
"Don't listen to him he is just playing with your mind," Yassmine warned.
_WWoohaaaaaa_
Yassir screamed using one of his sound-based abilities.
Adam, Yassmine and all of Sunbo family's fighters felt their heartbeats risen while feeling dauntless. This was the effect of Yassir's sound wave that pushed his friends' minds to release lots of adrenaline.
The fighters attacked fearlessly. They soon gained the upper hand and the thugs were all defeated.
Only the blonde-haired guy remained.
"Now, it's your turn." Adam used his Rocket Burst skill to launch himself toward his enemy then used his Inner Energy Fist. He wanted to increase his punch power by using the velocity gained by the launch.
The blonde-haired man smiled then said:" I am sorry to do this to you your, highness."
A black tentacle suddenly appeared and blocked the most powerful attack, Adam can generate. Then he punched Adam lightly in the stomach. But the later vomited and fell to the ground barely conscious.
"Adam!" Yassmine and Yassir said in unison.
"I am letting these people live and I am also leaving this village for your highness' sake. Thank you, this was so fun. See you soon, my king." the blonde-haired man said then vanished.
