Chapter 1: Chapitre 1
25 year old Izuku Midoriya laid face down on the floor in a warehouse, unconscious bodies of henchmen laid around him, and standing in front of him a single villain.
"Deku, Deku, Deku… or should I call you Midoriya? Izuku?" the villain spoke in a calm soothing voice.
"What did you do to me? Not much is known about your quirk, but I doubt paralysis is part of it!" Izuku yelled out.
"Calm down, Izuku, I am a villain, but not by choice, I wanted to be a hero, but my power is unconventional." The villain pulled out a journal that said "Hero Analysis for the Future", and a quill. He pricked his finger and used his blood as ink. "You can call me The Author. My power allows me to know everything that has happened to a person, this here is the book of your life… huh born quirkless, that must have been horrible. Oh it also says you will live to be 54 years old…"
The Author kept mumbling as he read from the journal. Izuku attempted to move using One for All, but even at 100%, he could only move his muscles a millimeter.
"You know what Izuku, I am going to make you a deal. I'll make you an even greater hero than you are now."
"Why would you do that? You have nothing to gain."
"Actually I have everything to gain. You see, I can't rewrite my own past, or my future. The best I can do is give myself new abilities, but I can only have one or two new quirks, and they still take a very long time for me to learn to control them. Just as you had to learn to use One for All. If I rewrite your past though, I can possibly not end up here, maybe you and I will be on the same team in the new future I create."
"You can't just mess with time because you don't like how things turned out."
"Of course I can, I've done it dozens of time… now let's see fire breathing and low level telekinesis is what your parents had… I'll give you Pyrokinesis, that seems like the most natural quirk for you. Don't worry you will also be fireproof and can create flames not only manipulate them… I'll give them to you here… when you get One for All, that seems the best spot in my opinion… See you on the other side... Izuku…" The Author said as he wrote in the journal with his own blood.

"Hey kid, wake up!" A voice yelled at Izuku, while shaking him.
Izuku woke up on the subway, a familiar boy with black hair and bright eyes one blue, one golden, was standing in front of him, "Author?" Izuku asked sleepily.
"My name isn't Arthur, it's Kaine. Kaine Somnas, it's a pleasure to meet you. Anyways, this is the stop for U.A. you going there too?" the boy asked.
"Oh! Thank you" Izuku shouted out as he jumped out of his seat and out of the subway, running to his destination.

Everything was the same after that, until the practical exam that is.
Izuku saw Uraraka, trapped under the rubble, then his legs started moving on their own. Straight towards the zero point robot.
Izuku jumped, and yelled from the depth of his heart.
SMAAASSHHH!
What Izuku didn't notice, was with that jump, his feet exploded out flames, propelling him into the air without the use of One for All at 100%, closer to 50% of its power.
As he pulled his arm back, and readied his punch. Black flames engulfed his fist.
With a mighty punch, the zero point robot's face had melted, then the rest of its body exploded.
Izuku fell from the sky, even though he wasn't using 100%, the toll on his body was still extreme, his muscles had torn, his bones had fractured. His body was useless, but not at horrible as it could have been.
He kept falling, his clothing on fire, leaving him half naked, the outside of his arm covered in ash, and flailing. He planned to ruin his other arm to break his fall. Ruining his chances of passing the exam, but keeping himself alive.
Then he was slapped by Uraraka. Who used her quirk to slow his fall.
After being released from her ability, Izuku attempted rising to his feet, tearing the muscle in his legs even more, and causing himself intense pain, "Just... one point…!"
Then he heard the voice of Present Mic speak out, "It's all… over!"
Izuku fell to the ground, and became unconscious.
The remaining examinees then started talking about how Izuku's quirk surprised them.
"Must have a strength enhancing quirk, but… that was something else."
"Did you see those black flames though? A black fire and strength enhancing quirk?"
Tenya Ida, had noticed why Izuku had truly run into the fight, in order to rescue Uraraka from the robot, and wondered if Izuku realized that he would get rescue points or not.
Recovery Girl then walked onto the scene, handing out candy to the examinees, before coming to Izuku.
"So your own beloved quirk did this to you… almost look as though… your body isn't used to it" Recovery Girl said, then she gave him a kiss, healing his wounds
