The pillar disappeared without fanfare.
It was, then it was not.
And in its place, a blackened and charred humanoid shape remained.
The stones around the body... had melted.
Burnt. Twisted. Turned to rubble at the edges.
Ah-- but the mission took precedence over mystery.
Tycondrius unsheathed Mercy. He hopped over to the body of what he assumed was Kas Ki'raak.
He attempted to decapitate it. However... not just the corpse's neck, but its head and upper torso disintegrated into fine dust.
--a great deal of fine dust.
Tycon shielded his nose and mouth with his forearm as he stepped back.
The ordeal preceding the end of Kas Ki'raak was odd and rather disturbing.
That cloud of dust was, only moments prior, a literal god.
...Tycon pursed his lips.
...He shrugged.
He was alive. And his most recent goal was accomplished.
"Two down," he said, nodding to himself. "Four to go, was it?"
Rixen - "And why are you in that form, anyway? Only villains need to hide their true nature!"
Tycon - "You dunce. *You're* hiding your true form, as well."
Rixen - "Oh, no! I've lived long enough to become the villain!"
