Chapter 18: Second Daughter of the Duke
"You know you're pretty rude to someone who just saved your life," Jason told the girl.
How could someone be that rude to someone who saved their life?
"What do you mean rude, do you know who I am, I am the second daughter of the Duke of Starborn." The girl was shocked no one dared to talk to her like that in her whole life.
"Well sorry to say but I don't know this so-called Duke of Starborn but if this is how his daughter acts I would rather not know him," Jason told her.
Just you wait if you even take a single step into Starborn I'll make sure my dad deals with you, hmph."
While the girl was plotting revenge on Jason, he was just walking into the town of StarBorn. It was just a small town not anything special though, what did surprise him however was the fact that inside the Cracks was an actual town not just a hellscape of monsters.
"If this is the innards of a Crack why am I not surrounded by beasts but in a village, this is really strange." Jason said to himself
Jason aimlessly walked around the town for around an hour when he noticed a large commotion. There was a large carriage with four horses pulling it followed by weird horse-lizard creatures loaded with gold and other precious metals and gems and over three dozen soldiers. "What's going on? Jason asked an elderly man.
"Eh, you don't know, some noble brat is coming to ask for the hand of the second daughter of the duke."
Jason couldn't understand why anyone would bring all this stuff just to ask for the hand of that disagreeable girl.
"Oh well, it's not like it has anything to do with me anyway," Jason said to himself as he walked away.

'Inside the Dukes Manor'
A young girl with snow-white hair and piercing grey eyes stormed into her room,
"How dare he talk to me like that then just disappear, doesn't he know who I am!!" The young girl said as she threw herself onto her bed."I better not ever meet him again."
*KNOCK* *KNOCK*
"Lady Starborn are you in there, there are guests here for you and the Duke request your presence," A woman's voice said on the other side of the door.
"Yes, I am here tell father I will be there in a moment I need to clean up a bit." The girl said.
"Very well I will inform him."
The girl went into the large bathroom and went to wash her face and change clothes as they still had blood and dirt on them from when she was attacked by the Demonic Sheep.
"Jeez, I am not in the mood for another prince-wannabe trying to impress me with daddy's money." The girl said as she put on a fancy low-cut white dress that showed off her figure quite well. "Well let's get this over with."
