Chapter 19: Small time skip and first Party
In the afternoon I awake again and make my self ready to go to the forest and train the four friends of mine. On the way to the forest I see some marine but ignored him because I cant do anything at the moment.
In the forest near the big tree I sit down and begin to meditate to pass the time till the others come.
After eleven minutes I hear them coming trough the forest in my direction. Once they see me there they greet me.
[Good morning Sensei ] They all say at the same time.
I stand up and look at them [ Ok lets start with the training now that everyone is her] I say and we begin there hellish training once again. Of course I wont let them give up and treat them with even harsher penalty if they give up.
So goes the time by and two years passed.
Im six by now and learned the basic sword arts and improved my knowledge and body strength. My now officially minions also improved a lot and mastered the basic close combat style and swift movement technique that I showed them.
My mother is going to take me today for the first time to one of these noble party's which should be boring as hell but I wont be able to escape this fate of mine today.
The servants have a lot of fun to search clothes that would fit me so it took long but ended with me standing before a mirror and looking at my reflection which is a 1,10 m tall youth with shoulder long dark brown hair bond back in a short pony tail, his skin is a warm brown and the body is that of a swords man, not to muscular and not to weak he is clothed in black suit over a white shirt and a red tie around his neck.His trousers are black and and lose so to not restrict his movement the shoes are also black in color.
I like the suit but it isn't exactly how I would expect a swordman to look like.
Without any way to escape I surrendered and enter the prepared carriage.
The drive didn't take long, and we arrived on a big plaza where many other carriages are parked.
After getting out of our own we were immediately greeted by a servant and then lead through a beautiful door into a grand hall.
The hall is packed with people in expensive clothes and accessories.
As soon as my parent enter the hall a lot of people rushed over to greet and talk to them, I wisely choose to distance myself from the crowed and slowly advanced in the direction of the table with food.
Once before the table I gave a short look back to my parents and make eye contact with my mother and smile while giving them thumbs up.
Finished I turn back around and tack a small sandwich which immediately disappeared into my stomach.
This happens anther seven times till I gained the attention of a noble looking girl with blond hair and a blue dress.
The girl is intensely starring at me with a disapproving look, I look at her and raise my index finger to my lips while grabbing another sandwich with the other one and pushing it into my mouth where it disappeared.
The girl first got confused by the gesture and then angry as she saw me continue eating sandwiches.
The anger seems to take over as she tries to come closer to me, but I immediately begun walking backwards while skillfully evading any collision with other people.
Even more angered by my actions she begins to speed up.
I smirk in my mind as I step behind another guest and use him as cover to start melting into the background of the crowed hall.
Once the girl reaches my old position, she begins to search around for me while I observe her endeavor from a good distance away and a tablet with snacks in my hands.
POV Erika
Today is the day where I am going to attend my first noble party.
I learned all the needed formality's and etiquettes needed, but I'm still nervous about meting other noble children of my age.
As I and my parents arrived at the party, two persons immediately caught my eye, the head and the mistress of the Atlas household.
These two people are heroes of the Kingdome, overcome with awe and respect I continue starring at them till I noticed the Mrs. Atlas making eye contact with a dark brown-haired child in black suit and red tie.
This remembered me of the thing that my mother told me before the party, she told me that the heir of the Atlas family will also attend the party.
So, I concluded that this person must be him.
With this realization I tried to bring up the courage to speak to him but instead got distracted with the scene of him shoving seven sandwiches in his mouth within mere seconds.
Startled by his lack of manners I stare at which he seems to notice, he turns his head in my direction and we make eye contact.
Then he raised his index finger to his mouth to indicate that I should remain silent, a bit confused by this I only noticed the new sandwich in his hand as he already put it in his mouth.
I got angry at his lack of manners and clear mockery, so start walking in his direction only to see that he too starts walking, but backwards instead.
He walks swift and confident as he dodges every other guest without even locking.
For some reason these angers me even more and I speed up my advance.
I can literally feel his mockery as he steps behind another guest and breaks the sight contact in the process.
I speed up again to make sure that I wont lose him, but as I reach the point where I last saw him he disappeared completely.
