Chapter 4: Cliche

After the long battle in the previous night that just finished a few hours earlier, I woke up feeling completely refreshed, not feeling a bit tired at all.

I then looked at the extremely beautiful woman peacefully sleeping on my arms as saliva trickled down on her lips.

She was still looking at me in a daze so I cheekily grinned and pushed lips onto hers, giving her a deep kiss where we wrestle our tongues, it took a while before we finally stopped as she panted heavily.

I licked the corner of my lips, I could still taste her, she tasted like honey, it was sweet while she also smelled like lavender.

Looking at me who was smiling at her as if she remembered something, she looked at me with a complicated look on her eyes as she tried to stand up but was unable to because her body was still sore from last night.

Looking at the complicated look on her eyes, I smiled bitterly and helped her stand up and wear her clothes after wearing mine.

At first, she was against it but because she really was unable to move around, she finally agreed in the end.

Of course, I took cheap advantages every now and then, thankfully, she didn't notice it.

Soon after, the village chief arrived and behind him were three other men, two of them were holding the third one angrily.

The chief approached us and handed Kaga a bandana.

It took another moment before the village chief respectfully asked in a worried tone, "T-Then this man's punishment is..."

It seems like the chief wants to ease the gravity of his crime, huh.

I glanced at Kaga and waited for his answer.

"A villager lives according to the village-!" Kaga was clearly trying to lighten the man's crime as much as possible but...

"Just let the guy go after a few beatings."I interrupted before he finished his words and looked at the handcuffed man, " You can handle that much, right?"

The handcuffed man was stunned for a moment before he profusely started to thank me.

The two men who were holding him and the chief all sighed in relief and looked at me with gratefulness evident in their eyes.

"Thank You." The village chief and the swapper along the other two thanked me again and again, the chief also informed us that that the merchants will arrive in three months' time.

Michio looked surprised before sighing, he probably thought that the guy was a masochist after still being happy even though he'll receive beatings.

I looked at the beautiful clear blue sky and decided to level up my jobs and learn about my skills.

I took a few of the items in the loot I got from yesterday.

Heading out to the nearby plains where the monsters are.

Shortly after, the demons finally appeared.

I rushed at the group of eight slow rabbits and activated my [Flash Draw] skill of my Sword Emperor Job has.

After killing all of them what was left of the eight rabbits were eight rabbit furs, it looks like the 100% drop rate works just fine.

After killing the rabbits I continued to hunt more and in the end, I got a total of fifty-six rabbit furs so basically, I killed fifty-six slow rabbits in the span of 10 hours.

I experimented with rabbits.

I used my fists, my skills, my sword.

I can also mover extremely fast, I can appear anywhere in a 10-meter radius in an instant relying on my speed alone.

My fastest speed is 30 meters per second.

I've also appraised my weapon as well.

One-Cut Killer - Murasame

Thus sword is seriously OP, I can't believe that it has that kind of skills, it can kill anyone with a scratch alone!

Other than that, I didn't get a single level even after killing so many slow rabbits.

I returned to the village and went directly to Tirihi's house and saw that she was still sleeping.

I sighed to myself and shook my head.

I only have three months to make her completely mine.

Because of this, time flew fast.

My relationship with Tirihi has also become a lot better.

At first, she was really conflicted at what we did, to the point that she visited her husband's grave every single day to ask for forgiveness, then because of my persistence, she slowly mellowed down to me, she then allowed simple touches like holding hands, then after some more time, she then let me give her kisses in private, then some more sensual touches, and then, during my last two weeks in the village, she finally completely accepted me into her heart even though it was still a 'no-no' in public. She's probably worried about the opinion of others on our relationship, though I simply don't give a damn about them, I care for her feelings, so I just let it be.

During the times when I wasn't with Tirihi, I went around the vicinity of the village killing demons but they were unable to allow to level up.

So, a week after my hunt, I decided to look for a place where stronger demons live so that I could use them as my EXP farm of some sort.

Because of that, most of my jobs leveled up.

Though it may look like I barely improved, I did improve... A lot.

It's just that it's too hard to level these jobs up by using normal means such as defeating and killing monsters.

Not only did I got a lot more powerful but the monster drops on my inventory have become too much.

Currently, I have about 2,000 rabbit furs because of it, the rest are random drops from other monsters that are much more powerful from the slow rabbits, that's what the villagers were saying but truthfully, I can't really see the difference...

Hm? Oh, I guess it's time for me to go back now, I have about 3 minutes for lunch... I've left the village before sunrise after all...

Using half of my speed to go back to the village, it wasn't a very to travel as well, there are only about 11 kilometers between the place where I hunt the stray demons and the village so I reached the village in under several minutes.

After arriving at the village, I saw that there was a huge commotion at the front of the village chief's house, almost everyone has varying wounds on them, but the most confusing part was that there weren't any women among those people, even if there were, only the aged women were present.

Now, that I got a hood look at the surroundings, I can't see any strong-looking men in this person here, I can't even see the shadow of Kaga too.

I ran to the village's chief and saw that he too was badly beaten and bruised, I walked forward and asked in a grave tone, "What happened here?"

Once they heard my voice, everyone seemed to finally notice my presence and while the chief looked at me with elation on his eyes, "!!! Mr. Nick! I am very happy to finally see you here!" He said while tears ran down his face.

I approached the chief and once again asked, "What happened here? Why do you all look like that?"

The chief answered while still having tears at the corner of his eyes, "E-Everyone... Every one other than us was..."

He said while having difficulty in speaking.

My eyes widened and a bad feeling crawled up to me but I shrugged it off and asked again, "What happened?"

"The women and children were all taken away by the bandits and thieves from the Southern Desert while Mr. Kaga and the remaining able-bodied men went out to rescue them..." the chief explained wi5h great difficulty.

My eyes widened while the bad feeling intensified as a thought appeared in my head.

I rushed to Tirihi's house and looked at the broken furniture everywhere after entering the house.

I disregarded the broken furniture on the floor and rushed to the only room in the house and looked at the now ruined bed where we did our nightly activities together.

"Tirihi! Where are you?!"

Not seeing anybody after scouring the whole place, I rushed back at the village chief's house with extreme anger visible in my eyes.

I held the chief's collar and demanded, " Where is Tirihi? Where is my Tirihi?!"

The chief didn't look surprised at me calling Tirihi mine as everyone already knew our relationship even though Tirihi clearly tries her best in order to hide it but he was startled at my sudden outburst and felt fear at my current expression.

The chief didn't take long to answer as he finally squeezed it, " A-At the Southern Desert... uh... she was taken along with the other women and children... uh..."

I let go of my hold at the mayor and squeezed out my fastest speed and ran to the direction of the southern desert.

The distance between the village and the dessert wasn't too long, only about the 46 kilometers that much distance can be covered using horses in a few hours but it can also be covered in an instant using magic and skills like teleportation or warp.

Though, I can use teleportation, it was only limited to places I had been before, and the southern desert wasn't a place I had been to before, so I will not be able to use it.

I gritted my teeth then bit my lips in anger and frustration while moving at breakneck speed.

"Each and every one of you cocky bastards...!"
