Chapter 120: Stone age Alchemist (837 words)

In a small tribe where not more than a few dozen people life together a girl around fifteen years old underwent a sudden change.

Rolling around on the fur bed in which she slept she desperately holds her head while a silent scream seems to escape her mouth.

Memories of another life invade her mind and fuse together with the ones already present additionally something else, a link, connected her mind to a strange place full of knowledge.

Exhausted she lies in bed slowly digesting all the new things she knew.

'Reincarnation? No, this is more like transmigration. Anyway, the person from who I got these memories is dead, so it is better to remain myself, Miri.' Miri passes the rest of the night organizing her mind till she fell asleep, the next morning will be very busy.

Waking up late the next day Miri groggily wipes away the sleep from her eyes and exits the fur tent of her family.

Once outside she takes a deep breath of the unfamiliar fresh air, an air untouched by any kind of pollution.

'My era is far behind the one from where I got those memories, stone age maybe, but there are things here that don't fit into the world in my memories.' While Miri ponders a bit over her current era a hairy man with thick black beard and long hair clothed in a fur tunica approaches her.

"Miri, come to me, food." The man was called Bram and he seems to be very interested in Miri, in a sexual way, and has been trying to court her for some days already.

'Heh, looks like even those stone age monkeys got more manners than some pricks of the modern age, at least the guys here try to court the woman's instead of raping them or just use them to satisfy their sexual urges.' Turning to the bear of man at least double her age Miri accepts his invitation to eat food he hunted.

After eating, Bram told her a bit about how strong he is and how much he hunted trying to impress her.

Miri listened and asked some question which Bram only answered too willingly.

After the breakfast Bram went out with two other hunters while most woman started scourging the surroundings in search for berries and other eatable food.

To her surprise Miri realized that her tribe was one which mastered the creation of fire.

Using flintstone to create sparks they started to cook their food and warm themselves in cold times.

'This tribe got potential.' Thinking to herself Miri also started exploring the surrounding s in search for a different material.

She is intending to start with creating small things to increase the efficiency of their tribe's survival before she fully dives into the treasure trove which she lays on the other side of the link in her mind.

Through this link Miri saw potions, crystals, formulas and many more things, by now she pieced thigs together and came to the conclusion that through this link she would be able to learn the art of Alchemy.

Using different ingredients and a whisp of supernatural energy to create untold things.

A couple of days pass which Miri used to weave baskets and sew a couple of different things, form backpacks to shoes and some clothes.

Most of her creations she gifted to Bram, she wanted to make him her guardian and in order to achieve that she cooed him in with lots of attention, useful gifts and loads of knowledge.

At first she thought he was a rash person, nothing but muscles for brain, but he has proven otherwise when he learned things she taught him with great patients.

He seems to have realized that the things Miri taught him were of grate use to him.

She taught him about the use of traps and baits, crafted him bow and arrow, gave him rope, knifes and clothes.

In mere days Bram evolved from a backwards monkey to a somewhat respectable medieval hunter.

The other tribes people of course noticed this and started to pay attention to Miri who crafted most of the day near a tent which she built from the hides of the prey which Bram brought her.

At first some of the other hunters tried to force her to make them the same things she did for Bram, but once Bram himself returned and beat up everyone who dared to get too close to Miri.

After that she taught the other woman some of the things, most importantly she held daily classes about language and communication.

Weeks fly by and Miri's tribe underwent tremendous changes.

Most standard equipment was now crafted and maintained by the other females in the tribe, this gave Miri enough free time to start dabbling into alchemy.

Using different stones and a clean hide as working place she turns different plants into mush and dust.
