Chapter 25: The Grey Room (710 Words)
"Hello there, I almost didn't see you. You must forgive me for my clumsiness it's my first time speaking to myself so I'm still a novice in this, but I think I have more than enough time to learn" A white humanoid figure says
This figure sits on the grey ground in a grey box which is the size of five meters wide, long and heigh.
"Sorry I didn't introduce myself. Iam Samson, at least that's what I call myself now because I can't remember my old name hahahaha." Samson says and ends with a shy laughter.
"I once was a human and loved reading about things that didn't exist in my old world, but I always hoped that they are somewhere in the wide space of existence and wait to be discovered by me.
Haaaaaa but it just wasn't supposed to be, and I died by a bullet in the head from some sort of wnabe gangster that can't aim. He clearly tried to shoot a bottle beside me but instead shoot in my god damn nose!!!!" Samsons explains with anger against the end.
"Anyway, after losing consciousness for an unknown amount of time I woke up in this grey box, at first I hoped that some sort of ROB is gonna appear and give me five wishes hehehe but I gave up this idea after waiting for around ten years. Soon after I also gave up counting the time I sat in this box and just tried to sleep which I couldn't so I started thinking and now I try out talking to my self mabey it is gonna help." He says into the empty box.
"FUCK THAT I WON'T CONTINUE TO JUST SIT HERE AND TALK!!!!" He suddenly stands up and screams.
"If nothing is going to happen then I just have to make something happen." He declares with a crazy voice and a grin on his face.
Following his declaration, he walks up to one of the grey walls and punches it with his white fist.
Nothing happened.
He repeats.
Still nothing happened.
He repeats.
It didn't do anything.
He continues without stopping punch after punch he throws at the grey wall that didn't show any signs of change.
After a long while he also starts to stomp his foot to the ground and continues to repeat both, punching and stomping.
Punch.
Stomp.
Punch.
Stomp.
Punch.
Stomp.
Punch.
Stomp.
Punch.
Stomp.
Punch.
CRACK!
"....." Samson blankly stares at the crack at the spot where he repeatedly punched for who knows how long and even more times.
"he he he HAHAHAHAHA" He started with a shy laugh before he broke out in a full-blown laughter.
After a while he calmed down and looks at the crack that appeared at the wall.
"Looks like you aren't indestructible after all hmm." He mocks the silent wall.
"Just wait a little longer and I break you completely." He tells the wall and goes back into his punching pose and starts to hit the crack.
Punch.
Crack!
Punch.
Crack!
Punch.
Crack!
Punch.
BOOM!
With a laud sound the grey wall breaks down and reveals an endless ocean of rainbow-colored energy.
Dumbfound by the sudden presence of colors other that grey and white, Samson just stands there and takes in the picture of the wired colorful, twisting and bending energy that floats outside his box.
After a while he comes back from his stupor and started laughing again.
"HAHAHAHA that's what get for sitting and punching my way to freedom for so long?" He asks after he stopped laughing.
Of course, no one answered his question and he also didn't wait for someone to answer so he decided to just jump into the colorful mass of twisting rainbow in the desperate hopes to finally change something.
And changing it did.
The moment he touched the rainbow energy ALL the voices of the fallen god spoke to him.
And he listened, because it has been so long that he heard the voice of someone other than himself he ignored the twisted and evil content that these voices spoke and just listen to what they have to say.
After some time, the voices began to dim down and become quieter and quieter till they disappear.
