Chapter 35: Saving Her
"MMPPHHH!!!!!!" I can't help but struggle when I was captured by these people. I hate it... No matter how much I struggle, I can't defeat them at all...
'Somebody help....' I pray in my head. 'Anyone, anybody, please...' I feel tears welling up in my eyes.
I was tied up, and both my hand and legs can't move at all. I am scared, no matter how much I scream, these people will laugh at me. 'I hate this... I hate this...'
They dragged me to an unknown place, and again, I was tied. Both my hand hang in the air, and my legs are chained to the floor.

"Huh... I thought you liked Becca that way..." Alex teased.
"Nah... I care for her as a friend. I can't give her false hope. I smiled while shaking my head. On the other hand..." I look at the Doctor as she strides towards the hidden room where Becca is located with a scary expression.
"Someone deserves a better chance than me..." To think that I didn't do anything to help Becca at all. I bet, even without me, Becca will always be saved under the doctor's protection.
When the doctor enters the room, not long after that, I can hear the sound of bones breaking and people screaming.
Alex gulped while I give the doctor a thumbs up despite knowing she won't see it.
At the same time, Che Vincent just scoffs while waiting for the backup. I've seen him looking at his watch a few times like he is waiting for someone.
And not long after that, just like I thought, the sound of sirens can be heard, and many police cars appeared. They all came and when they see Che Vincent, they just nodded and quickly go towards where Becca is located.
"I think we should go now..." I quickly use all this commotion to run a little farther.
As I walk away, I turn my head to see that the Doctor has come out with Becca in her arms, wrapped in her jacket.
I know that she and the male lead can handle this situation. Too bad, the information I get tonight is mostly useless. And, their big action will surely make the Richards Sullivan and Damian Ford become more alert.
"But, this time... " I chuckle when I see the doctor's expressions. "You should never mess with other people's loved ones."
As Viollete walk away, she didn't see that Doctor Maya is looking in her direction.
"...I recognized her smell..." Doctor Maya mumbled under her breath. But, she chose to not chase her right now as there is a more important thing to do.
She stares at Becca's small red face, full of tears. Becca keeps rubbing her and mumbling some words.
When the police come towards her, she told them she is a doctor and Becca's friend. And will go to the hospital.
They hesitate to let her go when they see what she had done to all the culprits. All "three of their legs" are broken. The policewomen gulp at the sight, and the policemen can imagine the pain in their private part from only looking at their condition.
Despite that, she gets to leave with Vincent's help. The police reluctantly let her go to the hospital, but she still need to go to the police station to help in the investigation.
Maya just nodded before leaving them with a face, cold as ice.
Without everyone prying eyes, she stares at Rebecca's face again, and kissed her closed eyelid and at her forehead for a few seconds.
"I will protect you, forever..." She whispers in soft tones. And Becca finally stop struggling and buried her face in Maya's chest.
Maya didn't know, but despite being under the influence of the drug, Becca can still know what is happening in her surroundings. So, she knew what the doctor had done, including the kiss.
"Umm..." Becca's hummed as if, she agrees with Doctor Maya's promise, despite that, the Doctor only thought that Becca is only making noise because she is feeling uncomfortable.
So, she hurried her step to her car and drive to the hospital.
