I nearly jump out of my skin when I hear my phone ring. I look to see Logan's number and rush to answer the call. "It took a lot of effort but we managed to track dillons phone. We know where he is. My men and I are en route now. ETA: 23 hours." I growl out a goodbye and immediately fight the urge to throw the desk. I stand up and slam my fist down on it, the contact fueling my fire. She'll be dead if we wait that long! I text logan for the address from the ping and immediately head to my car. Logan calls my phone as I'm halfway through the drivers side door and flip it open. "Titan you can't just rush into this!" "She'll be dead in 23 minutes, fuck hours!" Logan's silent a moment before the line clicks. I stare at my phone for a minute and smile slightly when i see gps coordinates on my screen. I punch it Into the gps and curse under my breath. It's 45 minutes from here, and I get a feeling that times not on my side.
I finally pull up to where the phone is pinging to find a large house, no guards anywhere to be seen. I pull my car into the driveway and leave it parked at the end before striding you to the house. To my surprise the door is cracked open, and as I peak inside it becomes clear as to why. Right on the floor in the doorway I spot a pair of legs, and I know that this isn't gunna be easy. I push the door to the house open carefully with the butt of my gun and look around cautiously. What I see before me makes me nauseous, and then I see something that chills my blood. On the floor at the foot of the staircase, a firearm still in his hand, finger on the trigger, is Thomas Maxwell. I run up the stairs quietly, and press up against the wall at the landing and look around the corner carefully, spotting two men with guns standing outside a door. I stand silent for a moment when I hear a muffled voice, barely recognizing it as Dillons. I suck in a calming breath and turn the corner, aiming down the top of my gun and rush forward shooting one of the men in the forehead before I come face to face with a snickering Rodriguez. "You fucking trader." It's the only three words I utter before shoot him in the head. Shit there's no way that he didn't hear that!
"Well welll. Romeo comes to the rescue doesn't he." I hear dillons voice behind me and I have to restrain myself from rushing up and slitting his throat. "Where is she?!? Where is Alysandra?!?" Dillon snickers before a sick smile stretches across his face. "She's not here Titan. Unfortunately your princess is in another castle." I hold back an internal scream before raising my gun and aiming between his eyes. "If you kill me you'll never find her Titan." His voice sharp as knives carving into my skin. He begins walking towards me, his steps slow and calculated, as he comes side by side to me he lets out a low chuckle and before whispering "Better luck next time big guy, but don't try to follow me." He has a sly smile on his face, his eyes practically daring me to disobey. As he climbs down the stairs I rip my phone out and dial Logan as I continue to go through the house carefully, beginning with the guarded room. "She's not here log... she's gone. I've got numerous casualties here. It looks like her uncle tried to save her." I sigh before opening the door to the room and turn to clear it of any survivors. "Send your men, I don't know who-"
"Titan? Titan?!?" Logan's panicked voice fills my ear, before the phone drops to the floor. In front of me is a bed and some medical equipment. When I see who is hooked to that equipment I almost drop to my knees and sob, because on that bed is a battered and bruised Alysandra, a large bandage wrapped around her torso. I have to fight off the fear of her being another victim before I cautiously approach the bedside. When I see her vitals reading that she's alive a tear slips down my face, a sob ripping from my chest. "Oh fox... you're okay. Thank fucking god you're okay." I call Logan and let him know the good news before carefully picking up my sweet fox from her bed, carefully pulling the IV from her arm, and carrying her down the stairs.
When I finally get her into the car my phone rings once more and I look to see Logan's name on the screen. "I've got a plane you can use to get her back home and safe. It'll be waiting for you about an hour from your location on an abandoned air strip. Bring your girl home." I almost begin crying once more before clearing my throat. "Thank you Logan.. for everything." Logan and I say our goodbyes before I speed to the airfield where our plane home is waiting. I can't help but continually looking over at my broken fox. Her face is swollen and red, her torso covered in bruises and cuts. I can't even bring myself to even peek at her chest, the idea of it making me nauseous. After what felt like an eternity on the road we pull up to the airfield and the plane comes into view. I pull of to the side and call a friend of mine to let him know where to pick my car up from. I also place a call to jack to request he meet us at my house to tend to Alysandra. As I carry her to the plane I feel my heart getting lighter, hope blooming in my chest. I've let them get her twice... when we get home and once she's healed I will teach her how to be stronger and how to protect herself. I kiss her head before strapping her into a seat. "Hang in there Alysandra. We'll be home soon. "
