Chapter 26: A rolling storm

I look up at the ceiling seeing stars, the world a blissfully wonderful place. Titan stands up with a smile and holds out his hand, and I take it gingerly before getting dressed. "I'll meet you on the beach." He throws me a wink before heading downstairs, and I laugh with a light toss of my head. I head into the bath room and decide to take a quick shower, needing time to process what the hell just happened. I start the shower and strip out of what's left of my outfit. 'Shit I forgot to grab my shampoo out of my suitcase.' As I turn to go and retrieve my bag I come face to face with a woman I don't recognize. "Shit you scared me. Who are yo-" before I can finish my sentence she presses a rag to my face, and the world starts getting fuzzy.
Fuck my head hurts.... what the hell happened? I force my way through the pain and try to recall what happened. All I remember is going to take a shower and that woman being there... who the fuck was she?! Fuck! Did she kidnap me? I start getting déjà vu from two weeks ago and I begin to shake, my brain beginning to panic. "Well, look who's awake!" After a few moments I'm in shock when I recognize the voice. How the fuck did he find me? Does titan know I'm gone?? How long was I out?! I'm blinded when light assaults my eyes through a veil of fabric. My brother strides up to me and rips the fabric off of my head, my eyes burning from the brightness. "Mphh! Mmmphmph mph!" I try yelling at him but am horrified to find my mouth gagged. I stare daggers at my brother, hatred spewing from my glare. "Now now, is that anyway to act to your brother Alysandra?"
The man standing before me is not the man I remember. His face as hallowed our, his eyes sunken in, his Frame once lean and healthy, now sickly thin. "You must be very confused. Allow me to explain." He pauses with a sinister smile before continuing. "You disappeared from home one day. It worried me terribly so I had to come find you. One of my men saw you get shot by that monster so we had to come rescue you." His words are sickly sweet, his voice oozing with fake sincerity. "Oh my, how rude of me. You can't exactly talk with that in your mouth can you, allow me." He walks up and slice the gag from the back, also shredding a huge section of my hair in the process. "Whoopsies" he dons a mock look of sorrow. "You didn't save me! I was shot because one of the thugs you hired tried to kill me!" My voice is raspy and shrill, my anger and anxiety skyrocketing. His face begins to darken, anger contorting his features before his face slips into a deadly mask of calm. "I see you've found out the truth then." "You killed our father! You killed mother! You killed our SISTERS! You're a monster!" He lets out an annoyed sigh before turning back to me, gun drawn and pointed at my chest, "I knew those little dreams of yours would eventually rat me out. And I won't be losing my spot to sit in jail for a man too weak to do what was necessary." "You're a fucking lunatic! When I get out of here I'm going to-" there's a loud bang a 1/4 way into my sentence and I'm cut off by a burning sensation. I look down slowly, my eyes widening before my head droops and I pass out. Just before consciousness leaves my mind I hear a door shut and a realization hits me. I'm going to die in here, and I'm going to die alone.....
"Alysandra...." I groan slightly, the world dark and feeling as though I'm flying. "Alysandra.... wake up." I groan and open my eyes, greeted by a dark sky littered with stars. I watch as the scenery flies by and I conclude I'm in a vehicle. I try to sit up but scream when I feel a pain in my chest. "Alysandra, don't move. I'm going to get you help." My head lols to the side and I take in the view of a man in the drivers seat. "Un.... uncle tommy..?" He turns his head to side and smiles, his eyes laced with worry. "You're brothers lost it Aly. He's gone absolutely insane. All the men have noticed but nobody is stupid enough to go after him. But I'd rather die then let him kill you. I already lost my brother and two nieces. I won't lose you." There's a sob to his words and it makes my chest ache. "Uncle .....tommy... he .....did I-" I slowly lose consciousness.
I wake up and looking around, I'm in a bedroom but there's nobody here... I look down at my body and see a large bandage wrapped around my chest. Where...where am I?? I flop my head to the side to see a vitals scanner that shows my condition, and IV hooked up to it pumping fluids. I... I can't move. I immediately begin to panic when I recognize the situation. Shit! This is exactly how my dream was. I groan slightly when I hear a chuckle coming from the doorway. Dillon walks out of the shadows, a smile stretched across his face. "It's a shame you couldn't have been of more use to me sister." He walks closer, producing a syringe full of liquid from his pocket, and walking up to place it in my IV. "We could have built an empire together, we could have accomplished all of the things that father failed to do. But you chose him. And now you'll both have to die for your choices. You gave your life for that man and he used you as a diversion to get away. Foolish girl, all our lives I've protected you, fed you, kept you alive. Now unfortunately your time has come to an end." 'What was he talking about??! Then I realize titan was waiting on the beach and had left me in the house'. He lets out a sigh and stands, walks over to my IV, and places the needle into the drip. "Goodbye Alysandra. Forgive me." Just as he goes to press the plunger on the syringe, there's a loud bang.
