At the end of the dance, Aslan and Ashara parted with a smile.
Rhaegar, who was in a wheelchair, entered pushed by Jon Connington. Rhaegar with his harp sang a sad song about impossible love and he subtly slipped words on "the pearl of the north".
Many people did not think of it, but the perceptive nobles understood who he was referring to. Robert was not present.
The party came to an end and before leaving, Aslan and Shaïra found themselves in front of the Starks.
"Well, I say goodbye to you."
"Yeah, I hope to see us again in the future Aslan." Brandon says.
Ned and Benjen did the same when Aslan asked.
"Where's Robert?"
At Aslan's question, everyone turned their heads away. Aslan understood when he saw their heads and that of Lyanna.
Robert had to be with a woman.
"Well, we are going to leave and go home tomorrow. If you ever need my help then do not hesitate, especially for the one who has a dream."
The Starks brothers made an interrogative head because of the last sentence but Lyanna looked at Aslan strangely.
Aslan looked at her with a smile before leaving hand in hand with Shaïra.
The games passed and two months passed since the tournament of Harrenhal.
It was the end of 281.
In an office in Lannisport Aslan prepared for chaos.
After the tournament, all of Westeros learned that Tywin left King's Landing abandoned his role as a hard worker, after learning that Jamie had become a royal guard. Tywin was replaced by Owen Merryweather, a weak and indecisive man.
Aslan also learned that Prince Rhaegar armed Gregor Clegane knight after the party.
By the beginning of 282, winter had come and Aerys had lit Greek fires around the city to ward off the cold. King's Landing seemed to be a lighthouse at night with disturbing green lights.
Aslan knowing that Rhaegar would leave the capital to look for Lyanna in two months, so he improved the defense of Lannisport by installing ballistae and catapults.
Aslan had also started looking for cannons. He informed his closest alchemists and blacksmiths of his ideas. He presented them with three ingredients, saltpetre, sulfur, and coal.
Salpetre was a colorless to transparent whitish crystalline powder.
The sulfur was pale yellow crystals that could be found in deposits near volcanoes or ancient volcanoes.
Coal was the simplest.
The alchemists began to search for black powder and the forgeries under the directions of Aslan began to create a cannon of 36 pounds, 24 pounds, and 12 pounds.
The galleons making 3 bridges and they will be armed according to the power of the cannons. On the first deck, there will be the weakest cannons with the lightest cannonballs, the cannons being 12 pounds.
At the second bridge, there will be the 24-pound guns and finally, at the last bridge, the lowest will be the most destructive cannons, the 32-pound guns.
The most powerful guns will always be at the bottom because the large-caliber guns will have a monstrous recoil and at the bottom of the ship, the water will absorb the recoil.
Aslan also requested the creation of 42-pounder cannons to serve as a defense weapon.
Aslan already imagined himself king of the sea and he wanted to unconsciously cry out.
"I will be the pirate king!"
During these months, Aslan also received letters from Jamie. Jamie described the king as being paranoid and mad.
Jamie told how he listened to the king raping his wife while he was on duty. Jamie doubted the king and he also began to doubt himself.
Aslan replied that he had to hold on and that he was an honorable knight and that soon things would stop.
Aslan left Cersei to run the town while he spent his time with the army.
Aslan had a capable army, but he lacked capable generals.
His army was comparable to the Roman army. Full body armor and large shields capable of stopping a charge from the cavalry. The combat formations were their strong points and if 300 of them were in formation, they could defeat more than 1000 enemy soldiers.
His army of 28,000 infantrymen were divided 8 legions 3,500 soldiers. These legions could themselves cooperate with each other creating an army corps.
The cavalry was divided into 3 groups made up of 4500 riders and the archers were independent with the 5000 two-wheeled tanks.
The army was very versatile and organized.
He was proud of his work for the past 4 years and finally, he arrived the day he would see if his work had been done correctly.
A month and a half passed and a letter from a horseman quickly arrived.
Aslan knew that his agents would send ravens, they would only send a messenger if there was vital information.
In front of Aslan, the breathless messenger spoke.
"Lord ... * uff * ... Chef Delia in ... * uff * ... sent an urgent message ... * uff * ..."
Aslan received the message and started reading.
After reading it, Aslan closed his eyes and leaned on his chair.
The messenger looked at his lord nervously.
"You can leave, go see Delia and she will reward you."
"Thank you, my lord."
After the messenger left, Aslan wrote many letters which he sent by ravens.
All these letters were addressed to Aslan agents who incubated in the big cities.
Westeros was calm and only a few people felt the storm coming.
Aslan agents sent urgent reports every day. The movements of Rhaegar and his companions were followed.
Varys whispered in Aerys' ears, reinforcing his paranoia and the most mysterious was Tywin who was buried at Casterly Rock.
Half a month after Rhaegar's departure from King's Landing to Riverlands, near Harrenhal, an earthquake struck Westeros.
Sweet Prince Rhaegar has kidnapped Lyanna Stark, the pearl of the north.
From that moment, rumors began to circulate, spread by different people. These rumors claimed that Rhaegar kidnapped Lyanna and raped her.
Aslan agents reported that these rumors were being spread by certain hidden forces or the people who did not like Aerys.
Aslan's forces discovered that one of these sources of rumors was the Tully, but he could not discover the other source.
Upon hearing of Lyanna's abduction, Brandon, who was on his way to Riverrun to marry Catelyn Tully, turned from his course and set off for King's Landing.
Brandon rides to the Red Keep, accompanied by Ethan Glover, his squire, Jeffroy Mallister, Kyle Royce and Elbert Arryn. He asked to meet Rhaegar there so that he could answer, arms in hand, for the kidnapping of his sister.
With Rhaegar absent, Aerys arrested them and killed Brandon's companions. Brandon was thrown in prison and Aerys summoned the fathers of Brandon's companions to King's Landing, except the father of Elbert Arryn because his father is already dead.
On the arrival of his father, Lord Rickard Stark, and the fathers of Brandon's companions, they were found guilty and put to death with very particular cruelty. Brandon helplessly witnesses Lord Rickard's agony, which is slowly burned in his armor, while he himself dies strangled by a leather cord which prevents him from helping him.
The people in the room seeing the scene were horrified while Aerys laughed.
Aerys then sent Jon Arryn a letter telling him to kill Ned and Robert and send their heads to him to prove his loyalty. Jon Arryn refused because Aerys also killed his heir, Elbert Arryn, his nephew whom he treated as a son.
Jon Arryn raised the banners of the rebellion and the rebellion against the mad king was definitively launched.
Aslan, who was ready for rebellion, stood on the roof of the castle and sighed.
"The war begins."
All the lords received the news and all were preparing for war.
Aslan received a simple letter summoning him to Casterly Rock.
Two days later, Aslan found himself in front of Tywin.
"Why did you call me father?"
With a cold, calm face, Tywin replied.
"I called you because I want you to prepare your army. In this war I want the Lannisters to have advantages."
"It will be done."
"Good. I will also tell you that in this war we will take advantage of the chaos to massacre the Targaryens, they have spent enough time on the throne."
"... what do you mean father?"
"That's what you think. I'm going to take advantage of this war to kill all Targaryens, until the last one. I'm going to unleash my revenge on them for the constant humiliation that I and Joanna have endured."
Tywin's usually calm face was gone. His face was tinged with anger.
"For more than 25 years Joanna must have been humiliated by this puppet king, he humiliated me and put the court against me with sleight of hand but who thought that his son would make a false move."
Aslan was amazed.
In the series, the movements of Rhaegar and Lyanna were secret, and it was only because of rumors that the war broke out. Aslan was able to deduce that Tywin was one of the major sources of these malicious rumors.
If Rhaegar and Lyanna had announced their marriage there would have been a good chance that the rebellion could be avoided because their marriage was sacred under the 7 gods.
Rumors have always been a source of conflict in history and Tywin took advantage of this fact. Robert was brutal and thoughtless. Hearing these rumors he would believe them without refuting them.
The Stars were just a scapegoat and the spark that sparked the war. The hallucinogenic poison of Pycell and Tywin accelerated the madness of Aerys.
"Father ... it was you ... who spread these rumors ..."
"Mm... Yes, it's me, I had to ruin Rhaegar's reputation and make him as bad as his father."
Aslan only sighed. The series did not show all of the actions going on behind the scenes. Aslan understood once again that he was in reality and not in a series.
Political games are far more dangerous than war. In wartime, you can see your enemy, but in politics you cannot see death happening.
"Now go and prepare your army, we must gather all the possible advantages."
"... Good father."
Aslan left Casterly Rock with various thoughts in his mind.
