Baguio

January 2, 2020

I didn't even managed to sleep last night. I don't know why, but whenever there is an occasion coming up, I get an insomnia attack. My brothers woke me up so early in the morning that I was only starting to sleep. Fuck, insomnia.

There is only one problem that I have in my body: I can only sleep when I get the perfect and comfortable position. My body is a perfectionist when it comes to sleeping. When I am on full energy, and I am going to sleep, my fucking body find ways to position itself into the most satisfying position. Well, it satisfies my mind, but dude, my body is so fucking tired.

I was supposed to sleep at this moment, because my body and mind is so tired and exhausted from travelling. It took us an average of 4 hours to reach that place. Baguio is so strategic, like there's fucking zigzags everywhere. It's like we're going to a rollercoaster ride with those ups and downs. We're thankful that the driver is so good at this shit coz we can die at any moment.

Although I've been to Baguio like a thousand times, this place never gets old for me. Everywhere I go, new things appears. The only big problem here in these place is that it's overpopulated during holiday season. Like what the fuck, we even went there like post-New Year, but there's still so many tourists.

Toilets became a big business there. Imagine, you pay 5 pesos (10 cents) just to pee and 10 pesos (20 cents) just to poop. How did this became a big business? Well let's do some calculations. Let's say we have only two type of comfort rooms: men and women. Baguio is an overpopulated country during this season. Let's estimate that an average number of person that pees are close to a thousand. It will be translated to this:

1,000 = average number of people that will take a pee per day

2 = types of comfort rooms

5 = average rate of comfort room per person

Multiply:

1,000 x 2 x 5

=10,000 pesos per day (an average of more or less than 197 dollars)

That's so big man, 200 dollars for peeing business?? My Gregoritas, I would build 1,000 toilet rooms there. (By the way, sorry for the math. It's our Asian specialty)

Everywhere, toilets aren't free anymore. Restaurants and gas stations charge more with the rate of 6 pesos and 11 pesos. Peeing business became a big hit due to the fact that it's illegal in Baguio to pee everywhere. They have to maintain cleanliness in spite of overpopulation.

My Gregoritas, Baguio needs to be renovated. It's not the Baguio that it used to be. It's getting more and more polluted due to the overpopulation in vehicles also. Those shits emits greenhouse gases that can lead to global warming. Baguio is starting to get warmer due to these smoke belchers. I even saw a jeep that smokes so hard like Snoop Dog. My Gregoritas, I'm starting to get worried about the future of this place. The only thing that keeps this place cold is because it sits on the top of the mountain.

If you were a foreigner and you're planning to go to Philippines, Baguio is a good place to chill out. Pros are the cold climate, budget vacation, and many tourist attractions. The only cons are the geography, and it's not a good place for holiday season. For me, I rate Baguio 8/10.

In the future, I might plan to study in Baguio for college. If I really had the big chance to study to other places, I would really love too. Dude, I don't wanna live in this hometown forever. I wanna explore the world, and I don't wanna depend too much on my parents. I wanna learn how to be independent, to be free from their leash. It's not like they can be at my service 24/7, so I realized to myself that I need to practice living without them.

I wanna study in Baguio so badly. The temperature is my number one reason. In fact, my body becomes more productive when working on cold temperatures, like what I'm doing right now. I can also exercise efficiently in Baguio. My Gregoritas, it's easy to earn six pack there, because you can't feel tiredness there. I can even walk miles in Baguio without resting. You can even sleep on top of the sun. Man, I want Baguio's climate so bad that it should be all over Philippines.

I have a big chance to study to Baguio if I passed UP (University of the Philippines). This is one of the biggest schools in the Philippines. It even ranks a spot internationally. What's good in this school is that if you passed their entrance exam, you are automatically a UP scholar.

Their entrance exam is so hard. They have a different process in computing the average grade in the entrance exams. Their exam questions is even over Einstein level. Like, how the fuck can you answer 100 math questions in just one hour? One question took me 15 minutes to solve it, and I can't even get the correct answer. I almost did a breakdown in answering all the entrance exam questions, especially the math and science part. Even though I reviewed those parts well, it's still the battle of the best stock knowledge. What you reviewed is not the true as what you will get on the test. It's the battle of whether if you truly deserved studying in that prestigious school or not.

I'm still hoping that I'd passed the test, although I might had 50+ skips. Yes, I shouldn't have done that. That's the only regret I did from taking the test, because it is scientifically proven that there is a higher probability of passing when you take a guess, even it's a nonsensical guess.

It's hard too talk too much on how UP system works things out, because I'm really sleepy right now. I don't have the enough energy to explain those shits, but if I have tackled that topic again, I would love to. I don't wanna overextend my energy coz I'm really tired, so peace out. Good night, Gregoritas, and see you to the next chapter.
