Chapter 20: Chapter 20: Everything Will Be Fine
When Jin heard her voice it was enough to wipe away all his fears and doubts. In 3 seconds he had crossed the field, stand in front of her and quickly hugged her. His voice was able to break free from whatever was holding it back as he spoke so carefully, so softly, "Rose..." as he hugged her tightly he could feel her warmth and hear her heart beat so, strong and calm just as he remembered it. He could finally relax as she was really here. When he tried to sniff her to get her scent he realized her scent was gone and just as he was about to ask Rose hugged him back and said, "My scent is not gone. I had to hid it so I can be able to walk in the territory. " Jin's wolf huffed in disappointment as he loved her scent but Jin understood and ignored his wolf. Jin was about to ask her if she was staying here for good but was to scared about her answer.
As if Rose could read his thoughts she said, "I'm here to stay. After all I promised you, didn't I?" Jin released a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "Since, I kept my promise did you keep yours?" She asked Jin.
He then held her at arms length, looked her in the eyes and with a dazzling smile said, "Of course!" Rose nodded. "Well I did asked your trainer if you could be excuse from class so you can escort me around the village. Unless you want-" Jin interrupted Rose saying, " No I'll take you! Let me just get my stuff and change and I'll be right back. So don't move!" Jin then quickly took off leaving only Rose and his friends. His friends could not believe what they just saw how Jin reacted to Rose and how he completely forgot they were even here.
Rose broke the silence, "I've heard so much about y'all. " They quickly stared back at her surprised but then quickly put their guard up.
"Funny as we haven't heard a thing about you." Nobutoshi stated.
Rose spoke, " I'm not surprised." Rose continued, "Well that would soon change as Jin well tell y'all everything." Before Nobutoshi could ask anything else Rose looked at Yuri and called, "Yuri would it be ok for me to talk with Jin for awhile?"
Yuri was surprised and spoke, "Why are you asking me? And how did you know my name?"
Rose answered, "Well the Alpha told me your name as well as the others. He even showed me a picture of all of you so I know what y'all looked like."
Mizuki butted in, "Wait I thought Jin was the one who told you about us?" When Mizuki asked Nobutoshi thought, 'Why would the Alpha even tell her about us? Who is she?'
Rose looked at Mizuki and said politely, "How could Jin be able to tell me when I just met him right now? Don't worry as I said before Jin will tell yall everything. " Rose looked back at Yuri and said, "To answer your first question it's because you are Jin's mate. I understand that usually wolves don't like their mates hanging around with the opposite sex especially alone. I just don't want their to be any misunderstanding so I completely understand if you would like to join us that is fine." Yuri was surprised how this woman even though she is human she was so considerate about her and her kind. Yuri asked, "What's your name?" Rose answered, "My name is Rose." Yuri hesitated before she said, "I give you my permission Rose."
Rose said gratefully, "Thank you Yuri." Then Rose looked at all of them and spoke, "I know this is out of the blue and doesn't make since but I wanted to express my gratitude and thank you from the bottom of my heart for being Jin's friends and staying by his side. I hope you can continue to watch over him and stay by his side in the future." Everyone was shock to hear that and when they looked into her eyes they could tell she meant every word and that she truly was grateful to them.
Hinata was the first too recover and said, "Of course and we hope we can get along from now on." Rose nodded in agreement. Just as they finished speaking Jin came running to them already dressed and with his bag. He looked at his friends and mate and said, "I know y'all have questions but I will tell yall later." he stated. They nodded. Yuri looked at Jin hesitantly and he looked at her and said gently, "I promise Yuri. Please?" Yuri then nodded. He and Rose walked away. As they did the rest of the students were already existing out of the woods.
Sakura then spoke , "We should get going as well." As they started walking they noticed Yuri hadn't moved and was still staring at where Rose and Jin left before Nobutoshi and Mizuki said anything Sakura shook her head to indicate they should go ahead leaving her and Hinata to stay with Yuri.
Hinata asked softly, "Yuri?" but she didn't answer. Just when they were about to ask Yuri spoke, "I never knew." Sakura and Hinata looked at her confused. They waited for her to explain. "I never knew that Jin could smile like that..." Yuri trialed off. 'And speak so softly as if with every word he spoke was made of glass and he feared that if he spoke any louder she would break. 'Yuri thought. Sakura and Hinata understood because if their mates were to show someone else their smile that were only reserved for them they would be hurt. However, if their mate were to show an expression that they themselves never seen but someone else was able to before them there's no telling what they would feel. After all wolves are very possessive especially towards their mates.
"Don't worry Yuri everything will be fine." Sakura said trying to comfort her. Yuri didn't say anything and walked towards their class with Sakura and Hinata behind her.
