Chapter 19: Chapter 19: A Guest
- Meanwhile Jin's POV-
It's noon and all the students are eating lunch. Jin and his friends are eating outside under a tree. Jin was tuning them out as he was trying to figure out why he and his wolf were feeling restless since this morning. As he was thinking he felt his mate squeezing his hand to get his attention. He looked to his left to see her staring at him and wondering what's wrong. He gave her a small smile and said, " Don't worry I'm fine. It's just that I have been feeling a little restless since this morning." He looked at the others and said, "Just keep an eye out for anything suspicious." They nodded and the bell rang to indicate that lunch was over. They headed to their classes.
As time flew by they were already headed to their last class which was training. This training was for the top fighters in the school. As Jin and the others pushed open the door which lead them outside where their training took place. It was an open field size of a football field and past that was the woods and to the left where bleachers. As they were already in their training outfits, which consisted of a white muscle shirt and black shorts, all the students got to the middle of the field and started doing their warmups. Some students started talking as they did them.
A male student spoke, "Did y'all hear about that we might get a new student?" A female student answered, "Yes! Me and my friend actually saw the principal giving a tour to her." The friend spoke next to her, "Yup but too bad that she's a human though. " As they kept talking Mizuki leaned closer to Jin and ask, "Did you forget to tell us we are getting a new student?" Jin was just as confused as them said, "No my father didn't tell me anything. "
Before they could say anything else their trainer who was tall, well built man with brown eyes, short black hair, wearing a white tshirt with black army pants, yelled, "Alright listen up!" Once every one settled down he continued. "As you may have heard the Principal is giving a tour to a special guest so please be on your best behavior. Now for today's training we will start with 10 laps, ...." As he spoke students started to murmur, "I thought you said she was a student?" "I thought so too! She didn't look any older than us!" The student murmur back. "... and once you finish we will end with sparing. Is that understood!" The trainer finished. Everyone yelled, "Yes sir!" and they ran off to do their laps in the woods as some change into their wolf forms others didn't.
Jin and his friends ran next to each other. Nobutoshi ask, " Do you know who this person is?" Jin shook his head no and said, " I don't know. My father hasn't contacted me or anything. Even my mom is not answering. "
"It's strange. Especially since it's a guest usually we would be the ones to escort her as a sign of good faith." Nobutoshi stated. Mizuki and the rest nodded. "Do you think that this is what your wolf was feeling restless about Jin?" Yuri asked. Jin spoke with uncertainty, "Maybe." But as he thought about it, it seemed to be the cause. As he kept thinking his wolf seemed to not only restless but also felt hopeful. When Jin asked his wolf only he would reply, " All I know is my instincts are telling me we have to hurry." Jin wanted to ask his wolf but he knew he wouldn't answer since he himself didn't know. Jin started running further ahead from his friends and by the time he was done with his laps he was already walking out of the woods. He looked back to see they were also finishing up. When he looked ahead, across the field he held his breath as he feared that if he moved even so much as breathed that what he saw would just disappear. He saw a woman sitting down on the bench with her head in her right hand as her eyes were closed. She was wearing a white sleeveless shirt with black arm sleeves and black pants with black boots. A small breeze came and her snow white short hair swayed with the breeze. Jin thought, "If this is a dream I don't want to wake up." He wanted to get closer but was scared that if he tried to reach out to her she would fade away just like in the past but when in the past he saw a little girl and not a woman. As he stared at her another fear popped up that what if this woman in front of him was not who he thought she was or even worse if she was her would she even remember him. Just when he was about to open his mouth someone called out his name.
Yuri called, "Jin!" as she ran towards Jin along with the others. "What are you doing just standing there?" she asked. However, Jin ignored her as he was to focus on the woman. When Yuri called out his name the woman slowly open her eyes revealing blue crystal eyes and as she looked to see who yelled her crystal blue eyes met with grey eyes. When Jin eyes met with hers he knew it was her. He wanted to call out her name but no words would come out as if something had taken away his voice. The woman slowly stood up. When she did fear ran through his body as he thought she was going to leave but that fear instantly disappeared as she opened up her arms towards him and gave a beautiful, enchanting smile and said gently, "Jin."
