Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Midnight
Close to midnight
In the sky there is a full moon, the night was quiet almost peaceful until a scream broke its silence. In the direction of the scream a boy is laying on the ground screaming in pain as his parents kneeling by his side. His mother holding his right hand saying comforting words but the boy couldn't hear anything but his own screams nor his mother hand as he could only feel the pain coursing through his body. He never thought such unimaginable pain could ever exist.
As soon as it became midnight the full moon's light shone on Jin and Jin arched his back as he screamed in pain. Black markings started appearing across his body. Jin's parents took a step back giving him space.
"Jin!" His mother couldn't help but yell as she felt hopeless to take away his pain. She clung to her husband to at least grab some of his strength somehow.
"It's starting." Jin's father said. He looked at his wife who clings to him and hugs her back. "Don't worry he can do it. He is our son. Have faith." He looked back at his son, watching him like a hawk to be ready if he needed to interfere with anything goes wrong. His wife could only nod and pray to the moon goddess, 'Please goddess keep our boy safe! Give him the strength he needs to over come the curse!'
Jin flipped over to a kneeling position as his forehead touched the ground and he hugged himself as he tried to suppress the pain. All of a sudden he hard a dark voice speak.
"Kill" It said. Jin was shocked as he thought he imagined this voice until it spoked again louder, "Kill." Jin gasped and said, "No I won't kill." When Jin responded he felt a coldness and caused him to shiver. The voice spoke, " Blood. I want Blood! Kill, Kill, KILL!" The voice yelled. As it yelled Jin sat up straight, clutched his head and screamed up at the sky as a coldness spread through his body but instead of this coldness bring relief it brought pain. As if its coldness was burning him. Jin coughed up blood and fell down forward but before his head hit the ground Jin caught himself by placing his hands out to stop it. Jin was trying to catch his breath and try to focus.
'I have to push it back.' He thought. Once he stop focusing on the pain and focus on the coldness that was spreading with his will he started push the coldness back.
The voice laughed evily, "Ha! You think it's that easy to make me submit to you!" Black smoke started seeping out of Jin's body. Jin looked at his side and saw the black smoke and screamed "NO! I WON'T LET YOU TAKE CONTROL! YOU DAMN WOLF!" Jin started trying to absorb the black mist from spreading anymore. Once he succeeded he then started absorbing it back to his body. The mist started retreating back to his body. Just when there was a bit left all of a sudden the mist started to solidify and take shape of a black tentacle and warp itself on Jin's left arm and before he realized it, it spread itself until his whole left arm was completely black. Jin felt fear as he couldn't feel his arm. 'No!' He thought.
"Yes!" The wolf laughed menacingly. "Its only a matter of time until I take complete control!" Jin struggled but it was no use as the blackness didn't stop spreading soon left side of his face was black. When Jin open his mouth the left side his canines elongated and his teeth sharpened like a wolf. while the right side was still normal. When Jin open his eyes he's left eye had also change into a purple while his right was still silver. He thought, 'I have to keep fighting. I promised her.' When Jin raised his head he saw a wolf standing before him it's for was as black as the night and its eyes were purple.
The wolf smirked and said, " Submit to me." Jin eyes widened in shock but Jin regained his control, glared at the wolf and said, "Never. " The wolf's smirked faded and he growled, "Then die." The wolf then lounged at Jin. It felt like eternity and Jin could only think, "So this is the end. " Jin felt so much despair then he saw Rose bending down in front of him with her hand out stretched toward him. He tried to reach for it but Rose had disappeared. Tears started falling down his faces. Then he looked at his parents and said, "I'm sorry. " The black mist warped around him completely and once it disappeared Jin was no where to be seen.
"NO!" Jin's mother yelled as His father screamed out his name. He then grabbed wife and made her look at him and said, "He couldn't have gotten far. I'll go find him. Get everyone and tell them to help us search for him. There is still hope!" Jin's mother nodded then left to do what he asked. He then ran toward the woods. Once he reached the trees his clothes were ripped to shreds and there was a giant wolf standing there his fur was black with a mix of grey and the sides of him. the wolf ran. "Jin wait for me. Your father is coming!"
