Star Academy
Mei Xing's door was opened by her bodyguards when she arrived at school. The 3 bodyguards followed her to her classroom and the situated themselves in the back of the room, not too far from their Young Miss.
The bodyguards weren't just meant to protect her, actually that was closer to the bottom of their priority list. Their main job was to make sure Mei Xing didn't say anything she wasn't supposed to say about her father. They were paid to make sure no one found out about Chang Fan's domestic abuse.
Everyone on Star campus was aware of Mei Xing's bodyguards. They all assumed she was just pampered that way. Chang Fan was convincing everyone that his daughter was spoiled.
Mei Xing sat down at her desk as all the boys around her ogled at her. Most of them took notice of how beautiful she was:
'Damn she is so hot'
'I love our school uniform on her'
'Can I see up her skirt'
Some of them admired how smart she was:
'She is smart and pretty'
'How does she always get 100%? What a goddess!'
'I wonder if she will teach me her ways'
Sure, most of the other students that attended this school were also easy on the eyes, but most of them couldn't compare to her beauty. She was the most beautiful girl on campus! Not only was she drop dead gorgeous, she was also a genius! She was always top of her class. Star Academy made sure to prep their students to be famous and act or sing, but it also focused on academics. Since Star Academy was only a high school, it still has to teach basic concepts like math and English. Mei Xing excelled in every subject! This is why her school nickname was Goddess Xing!
Mei Xing wasn't actually that smart, she was hardworking. People automatically assume that when you get good grades, you're smart. This is not always the case. Good grades come to the people who work for them, and Mei Xing indeed worked hard for them. She needed to be top of her class to go to a good acting college. Then she could work for a big company and make a name for herself. Once she had a name for herself, she could avenge her mother.
Mei Xing was obviously very popular. She had many friends that followed her around all day and practically worshipped the ground she walks on. They complimented her endlessly and tended to her every need. Some of her close friends were also boys. They tried their best to get closer to Mei Xing but her bodyguards usually prevented everyone from getting too close. After all, they didn't want anyone to notice her bruises or strange behavior, but the more Mei Xing was allowed to let them in, the more people would find out that something isn't right. So here bodyguards kept everyone at a distance so none of her friends could form close bonds with Mei Xing. Many people were further attracted to Mei Xing since she was so mysterious.
Mei Xing was never interested in making close friendships with anyone though. She was afraid that her friends would leave her like her mother did, or they would abuse her like her father does. She had serious trauma, but had no one to help her cope. She brushed everyone off and lied to herself. She told herself that the only reason she wouldn't let anyone form a bond with her is because she didn't need the distraction. They would only hold her back from achieving revenge. Deep down she knew it wasn't true, but it would break her to admit that her father was winning.
