Chapter 4: Chapter 4

I forgot the fact that two days ago, my English teacher was so mad at me, because instead of focusing in class.

I was daydreaming about Saki-san.

For bad or worse, the English teacher was my homeroom teacher.

She was the one who told me that I couldn't participate in the Karate tournament if I can't get a better score at the next test.

For your information, I'm an ace in my karate team. Not to brag, but the coach and my team were depending on me.

But since I was too focused on my training, I didn't pay much attention to my study.

And here I am, going to school for supplementary or make-up classes.

But thanks to that...maybe I can finally have a taste of youth.

I was just walking into the station and there was the endearing figure that imprisoned my heart.

I awkwardly waved at her, just to have a smile and an awkward wave back.

"...."

"....Good morning."

"Ah, yeah. Good morning."

"Yesterday/ Today."

We gazed at each other for a while.

And she giggled.

"Lady first."

"Umm...You see, It's the thanks I told you yesterday."

"Hmm?"

"I kept pondering if saying thanks was enough to make up of what you did for me."

Whoa, she was the type that was strict to herself. So Serious!

" I told you, It's okay. I didn't do much anyway."

"B-But your hands might be hurt in some way.'

Well, it was hurt back then, but I recovered fast.

"Like I said, it's o-."

"Mmm..."

She looks troubled, what did I do wrong?

Damn, what to do in a situation like this!?

"Umm, actually...I.."

I couldn't hear what she just said because of the sound of the arriving train.

Her face still troubled as she entered the train.

There were times when I truly felt bad doing something.

By truly, I mean something that could make me depressed just to think about it.

Some of them were not giving my best at the final in last year's Karate tournament.

And the other was eating my little sister's favorite pudding and she told me that she hated me.

I felt so broken when she told me that she didn't want to talk to me anymore.

Lil sis, I'm sorry. I will be a good onii-chan from now on.

Today I might've added another point to the list.

"Umm, Saki-san."

"Eh?"

That face, she was surprised because I know her name.

"How did you..."

SHIT! She might think that I'm a stalker.

"*Ahem*, do you remember when we first met?"

I showed her the handkerchief.

"Your name is written on it."

"That's....not mine."

"....Eh?"

"Eh?"

"EEEEEEHHHHHHH?!?!?!?!"

"B-b-but this, I found this...You bumped up to me..."

"Pfftt."

"Eh?"

"Ahahaha....Ahahaha."

She laughed, so cute, but she earnestly laughed at how dumbfounded I was.

So cute, I can't get angry at her.

So cute, I want to pinch her peachy cheek.

Then again, I don't have the time to be frustrated even if I want to.

People around us gazed in our direction.

"A-are you satisfied?"

"Ah, sorry. How inappropriate of me."

"..."

"Umm, hehe. Are you angry?"

"No, I'm not angry at all."

"But your face said it, you look like a capybara."

"What kind of animal is that? Never heard of it."

"Hehehe..."

This girl is unexpectedly an S!

She was so meek at the beginning, where did that that meek side of her had gone?!

"So, are you going to keep that handkerchief forever?"

"What if I do?"

"Hmm, I don't mind. But what are you gonna do with it?"

"Ugh, here you go."

I handed her the handkerchief.

"Thank you very much."

And then the silence came. Filling room until we arrived.

Though she just teased me, I knew that I didn't hate it.

It is the first time that I talked with a girl this long.

THANK YOU, DEAR GOD.

"...."

"....."

We walked to the exit without any of us talking.

"Err..."

"What are you thinking?"

"N-nothing."

Actually I was thinking that I don't have the reason to talk to her anymore.

"Hmm.."

She walked a few steps forward.

"You can look forward to tomorrow."

"Eh? What do you mean?"

"See you tomorrow, Tokishima-kun."

"Yeah, see you tomor-"

Eh?! Wait, how did she know my name?

"Saki-san!"

Ugh, she was gone already.

But she said 'see you tomorrow' right?
