Chapter 18: Is there no other hotel?
Snatching the paper out of Meili's hand, Axel didn't tear it or crumple it and throw it away.
Instead, he stored it inside his spatial storage causing Meili to chuckle once again.
"Since it's just the two of us, why not relive the cloak?"
Shaking her head, Meili jumped on the bed and said, "What if someone is spying on you? I can't take any risks."
"Aren't you being way too pessimistic?"
"I consider it better than being too optimistic."
"Whatever, just rest until you are needed. I don't want you failing when I need you."
"Fine. In that case, I want some... "
Walking away while pointing at the phone, Axel sat near the table and took out the various files he obtained from Meili after paying her 10 million.
"Russia... Russia... Russia... Here..!"
Finding and opening the file related to the Russian group, Axel found that the various reports inside it were on the group of people he already met and like he expected Sasha was the strongest one in the group.
Reading more and more about her, Axel didn't feel surprised that she wasn't selected as the leader of the group.
Luckily though, despite her personality her strength was just in the Master Realm due to which paying so much for Meili to protect him didn't turn out useless yet.
Closing the file on the Russian group, Axel began looking through the other files and found that almost a near hundred forces were trying to achieve the same objective as him.
Still, quite a lot of them were low-level forces where even the strongest one was just in the Disciple Realm.
What surprised Axel the most, however, was that not a single one of the cultivators coming here was in the Grandmaster Realm.
Every single one of them was either in the Disciple Realm or the Master Realm only.
Appearing behind Axel god knows when, Meili blew into his ear and whispered, "Due to the Egyptian government force wanting to succeed at all costs, they've banned the entry of anyone above the Master Realm from entering the country until the Goddess opens her eyes."
Pouting since Axel looked towards her in suspicion, Meili quickly cleared his doubts by explaining that she was sent here a very long time back to set everything up while the other forces only sent low-level members to scout around and test the waters.
But, even though Axel felt a little happy that he most likely possessed the most strength in comparison to the other forces due to Meili, he couldn't help but turn concerned from hearing about the Egyptian government force wanting to succeed at all costs.
After all, this was their home turf. And trying to defeat then with a single Grandmaster Realm cultivator was way too far fetched to even be considered as a dream.
Also, since they went so far as to refuse the entrance of cultivators in and above the Grandmaster Realm, they must definitely be determined to come out as the winner.
If they failed to do so, other than falling victim to the endless mocking, they'd also have to suffer from the cold treatment given by the other forces over the issue of being refused to enter.

After reading through all the files, Axel who had some time before it was night went on a walk around the hotel to clear his mind when he kept on bumping into cultivators every now and then.
First, it was the Russian group only, but now the Chinese, Indian, American, Japanese, Australian, Korean, and various other government forces and even more uncountable private forces had arrived.
And every single one of them was staying in the same hotel as him.
Due to this Axel couldn't help but groan at how everyone was gathering in the same place instead of going to any one of the various other available hotels.
Luckily though none of them were interested or bothering him making it easier to test the waters when they fought in between themselves due to petty issues.
When it became night though Axel who debated about it the entire day left a grinning Meili alone inside his room and went over to meet Sasha to enjoy one more erotic night together and obtain that special Intel which only the Spetsnaz possessed.
"I was waiting for you."
Asking Axel to enter the door and lock it behind him, Sasha did surprise him a little by lying naked in the bed and waiting for him just like she looked in the drawing.
"You haven't been like this since the morning right?"
"Of course not."

After spending almost half of the entire night having sex, Axel who woke up in the morning didn't need to do anything as Sasha handed him a piece of paper and said, "You know the way out. Hope I don't meet you tomorrow at the ruins."
"Me too."
Taking the paper and leaving the room after dressing himself, Axel who entered his room was greeted by the sound of Meili clapping.
"I always wanted to see the walk of shame in real life, thanks for fulfilling my wish. Now show me the info you obtained."
Ignoring Meili who looked like she still had a few jokes waiting to be used, Axel opened the paper to find out what the special Intel possessed only by the Spetsnaz was.
