Chapter 27: Chapter 26 Mortal Realm
Madame QuanMei was around when she heard the manor announcing Gold Peach Clan HuoRi visitation to meet He FeiQuan. She thought they were proposing marriage and got very excited that she quickly rushed back to her courtyard to change. She knew her son had the chance to marry the fairy he had saved and who would reject a legendary beauty! She finally could marry her son off and to the famous, albeit reclusive Gold Peach Clan!
This was celebratory news, she told her attendant to send the happy news to her lord husband and her parents in law, the King of Celestial Crane Clan. Maybe her parents in law would be happy and finally come out of their deep sleep seclusion for such joyous news? Or would they only come out for their great grandchild birth? Grandchildren...
He FeiQuan led the veiled LiHua into his courtyard, while he casually told XiaoMing to let his parents and grandparents know that what his mother's message to them was false. The maiden and himself had no intentions towards each other and to claim so were to ruin the maiden's reputation, and XiaoMing ran out to inform the clan leader.
He FeiQuan had seen his mother walking away briskly towards her courtyard and he construed that she was misled by her own wishful thoughts. It was time to go for another mission or was there another sister to marry off? Pity he was QuanMei's only son and he had 4 sisters, all married now, so he was constantly watched on by his mother. He should encourage his father to take mother to the lake more often and make another brother so his mother could smother her attention on. It was obvious he was conceived in that said lake, with his name clearly indicating it. With that notion, he nodded to himself.
LiHua could only wait for her only celestial friend to finish nodding to himself and asked him if he was free and could he take her to human realms. Then she smacked her palms together, she just remembered something big! She had another big figure friend in Heavens! God of War! He did not know of her but she knew him! Good enough! More friends more benefits ah. But right now, she did not even know where he was so she only could look at He FeiQuan and depend on this flighty friend.
Hey! What's with that disdainful look? This fruit had grown to be more disrespectful now that she had a big mountain to rely on. He FeiQuan thought he did not do anything recently and he had not even seen her in months? Was that why she was disapproving? As friends, did she require attention like those females he casually dated? Females were so troubling creatures ah!
"He FeiQuan! I will call FeiFei and tell her that you will take her to Fairy Hua's event!"
"Whaaa?" He FeiQuan was so perplexed at the sudden turn of events. Ummm. The two girls did not even talk much to each other, right? What was she so upset about?
"Why would you do that?"
"Because I want you to take me to the human world ah."
"What?! Why can't you be like normal people and ask nicely? Why do you have to resort to making such unladylike spiteful statements?" He FeiQuan was becoming angry with this conversation.
"I did ask nicely before, but you ignored me. Does FeiFei work?"
"Yes, and no I didn't ignore you, anyway, let's just go and sit down and have a proper conversation, starting with what is it that got you into a fix and wanting to go to the mortal world." He FeiQuan said exasperatedly, massaging his forehead. He should really hang out less with this fruit and called out his old male friends to do their merry ways. Or maybe he could encourage her childish infatuation of the forgotten Yuan LeiFeng. Not the best idea, especially if her powerful clan members got the gist about it. He should just entertain this troublesome fruit until he found something else to distract her.
(Somewhere in the midst of a battle)
"She's now in human realms?!" the warrior lord paused a second before he threw a blast on his opponent.
They were told to tell him once they get news where the young little miss. And only about the young little miss would make their lord act out of the ordinary. The warrior with ox head, NiuBa （牛霸), was the one whom the messenger passed news to and he quickly rushed forward to let his lord know the most recent news.
The bloody sword was thrown to the ox demon and the lord just said "I'm leaving for a while, just finish this already and send me information after", with that their lord disappeared before grabbing the nearby SheLin by his neck.
His people saw his shadow gone like the wind, looked at the battle in front of them and gave a little sigh in their heart, before roaring off to fight these pests.
My lord, please do clean off the flesh and blood from your body before you see the young miss, NiuBa worriedly thought. The young miss was brought up delicately without seeing these bloody battles before.
All these years the lord had been hunted down, chained, prisoned, tortured, and only came out stronger than before. He did not turn to be crueller or blinded with hatred and rage to fight needless wars. Instead, he survived all the assassinations, toughened himself to be stronger and blocked all emotions. With his cold intellect, he strategized together with his advisors, decided wisely, fought harder to put all the chaos back in order from the Usurper, known as false king to their army.
Their lordship hardly had any emotions or even pursuits. Treasures and beautiful women were sent to appease and as tributes, he casually gave them away to his men. The women he gave them the choice to leave or stay as his men's women, whom had been battle weary and wanted to start a family of their own, like this the gifted women be taken care of. When the women tried to crawl up to his bed, he just cruelly sent the women to the army for pleasure.
Their lordship only concentrated in attaining more force and fighting in their battles, needing nothing to lead him astray and distracted. In fact, all the closer army soldiers that had been with him from the beginning lamented that their boss should at least be with some women, so they could also have the excuse to follow his footsteps. The female the lord was with last was so brief that they did not have time to romance one themselves.

Even though his lordship smiled to himself, it was still a rare sight, it was like a reward he did not dare to receive, so he immediately looked down at the floor.
Some of their young miss paintings of the island were also passed and kept by their lord, but of course, not of those God of lightning, that the young miss had erringly been obsessed with when he made an appearance in the island. This annoyed not their lord but the army too. Those days they had to train harder and they knew it was due to God of lightning. How they wished they could fight him when they had the chance to at that battle that shamed the Hell's warriors.
The false king, Lu Jieke, went into battle, one of the many, with the celestials and was again defeated, bringing much embarrassment to demon and devil creatures. Their lordship and their army did not participate in the war that was not theirs in the first place, and they had to gather their forces at that time too, not the time to submit to the bloodlust of a good battle.
As they were hiding in their spot, SheLin, that stupid two-headed winged snake, was not able to camouflage well and had the God of Lightning to catch sight of his glittering scales. That snake not wanting to give out his comrades', flew out and had the God of Lightning to chase after him. Some of them had to follow SheLin once they saw a troop from the God of Lighting's army pursued the snake.
While the wayward tiger, Qiong Qi, went to delay the troop, leaving SheLin and the rest of them to hinder the celestial God. SheLin in his haste, all of them could not comprehend his sheer stupidity - of all of the places to misled the God of Lightning, he went to the island where the young miss was. There were several small creatures surrounded their fight. PiXiu who was in the island, tasked to protect the young miss, had his eyes bulged out so comically, looking at them incredulously, mouthing "What???".
The winged fox shook his head and gave them that you-got-it-bad look, enjoying their future demise, while standing in front of a certain fruit, who was definitely the young miss incognito in the island, hindering her view.
NiuBa quickly attacked the God of Lightning and signalled to the pale SheLin to throw their smoke bomb to get out of the island as soon as possible. It was lucky when they found out from the sources that the celestial God was directionally challenged and when tried to follow them from the island, he could not locate the demons. Also, afterward, the winged fox told them that escapade did not expose their previous young miss and none of the celestial soldiers investigated and searched in the vicinity.
Upon return for his punishment, their lord merely walked to the kneeling SheLin, ripped his armor apart with his bare hands, grabbed the snake by the neck, used his sharp nail that had become a claw, sliced through his skin from his belly up and pulled out his scaly skin from his body in one move. Shrilly screams from SheLin were heard and those who witnessed the scene, battle-hardened they were, shut their eyes and flinched hard. Inwardly, they told themselves, they had to treat young miss better to put themselves in a better position in their lordship eyes. It had taken many months for SheLin to recover, locked in barracks for a few days until the army doctor could come and treat him.
Later, it was that damnable winged fox, PiXiu, who came back and bravely brought the painting of that damned God of Lightning, Yuan LeiFeng, the one He FeiQuan, another damnable creature, gave to the young miss. Their mighty lordship just calmly looked at it and told PiXiu to return it to the young miss.
They were all flabbergasted. That was not the reaction they wanted and expected at all! Before returning the painting, NiuBa unrolled the painting and showed to the brothers and they all agreed - That God of Lightning was nothing in comparison to their lord ah!
