Chapter 38: CHAPTER 38
Mr Yusufar entered the house and sound of the door closed, he just came back from work and his children ran to him. Adam and Balikis who was a girl, Adam was three years old then when Balikis was about to be two years old then.
It was the general company own by all the family that Adam's father still running, he had not own his own company then just planning and gathering money to set his own from small scale.
"Welcome Daddy!" Adam and Balikis greeted in chorused and hug their Daddy at the front and back.
"How are you? My children?" Removed their hands and sat down on the chair continued watching their cartoon.
"Where is your mother?"
"She in the kitchen Sir!" Adam replied.
"Okay! Enjoy yourselves!" Wanted to be going to his room when his wife (Mrs Yusufar) then and now Mrs Olotun came out.
"Welcome my husband!" Greeted.
"My wife! How are you?"
"Am good! And how is work today?"
"It was fine! We thank God!, how was business today?"
"It was fine!, today is the best lucky day for me my husband!"
"Wow! It's lovely, please set my table. Am coming right now"
"Okay! My husband!" He went to his room and Mrs Yusufar went to the kitchen. Mrs Yusufar came out set the table and went to the living room sat beside her children and joined them in watching the cartoon.
Mr Yusufar came out after some minutes, went to the dinner to have his dinner. After finished eating, he took the plates to the kitchen and got down to the living room back and sat down on the chair.
"Daddy! You know that we are resuming back to school on Monday!"
"Off course I know my son and happy resumption!"
"So! I need new bag and new book to enter new class"
"Okay! I will get it for you"
"Me too Daddy!, I need bag!" Balikis said.
"Okay! My daughter, I will give your mother money to get it for you tomorrow or next tomorrow"
"Thank you Daddy, may Allah provide more for you!"
"Ameen! My lovely children"
"You and your children!, my own too is that I want to buy a cloth"
"Okay!" Said with lower voice.
"And it's fifteen thousands, which will you give me or you will give me together with your children's own"
"What are you asking and joined together with the children's own?"
"The money off course!, you don't hear what am saying since morning just replying?" Looked at him.
"Why are you asking for money again!, I opened a shop for you now and it's to be using it to take care of yourself!"
"Sorry! And please!!, I don't get you at all"
"I have been telling you since that anything you will need get it by yourself and don't brother me again!"
"It's you that suppose to buy the cloth for me! It's all my friend's husband that give them money----" interrupted.
"So! When you know that you will still be asking me for money why did you allowed me to open the shop for you in the first instance!"
"Opened the shop don't mean anything!"
"Really!" Said with smile and looked at her.
"Yes! Yes!! What is doing you self!" Said with anger.
"Fine! Fine!! Fantastic!"
"When are you going to give me because on Monday I should have pay it so that I can sew it on time"
"If you know that you want the cloth get it by yourself!"
"What?" She shouted with surprised.
"Yes! Get it by yourself!" Sat down properly.
"Please! Tell me what kind of husband are you, since you have opened the shop for me just start sharing all your own responsibility on me. Divide it into two, on me but why? Not as if I don't have a friends that their husband opened shop for and still take caring of them, if you see their account it's like billion of naira that is their!"
"After spending millions on the shop and millions on advertisement, you are still expecting me to be giving you money. Also wife use to help her husband and support him!"
"So that is why you are dividing your responsibility on me and it's not that you don't have money, you are the active partner in your family's company and earn million per month so what is now your problem!"
"Woman don't disturb me!, I beg you!"
"Oh! Yusufar, fine! It good like that"
"That God for that!" Laid down and resting.
"You won't have rest until you give me the money!"
"No money! I opened a shop for you just to be helping!"
"You are a useless man! Because of a shop you don't care take of your wife again and still divided your responsibility into two!"
"The solution have come!"
"What is it?" Looked at him laying down.
"Let sell the shop and everything inside it!"
"What?" She shouted, their children were just watching cartoon, they were too small to understand what was going on.
"Yes!, then I will know that you are full house wife and all your responsibility is on me but spent billion of naira on you and still spending another money no way!" Got down.
"See you! Because of financial support, useless man!"
"Woman! I need a rest!" Stretched his body and wanted to be going inside, his wife too stood up.
"You can't have a rest at all until you give me the money that I ask for!"
"Stop blocking my wag now!"
"You are going no way! Can't have a rest"
"Okay then!, if you don't allow me to go inside. I can sleep here then!" Laid down on the chair back.
"Oh! My God,what kind of husband is this!" Shaking her head.
"Good husband! Very goof husband!!" She looked at him.
"If you don't have money now that we are still managing, is another thing but you have the money just doing know your problem!"
"Please! Let me rest! And let the children watch their cartoon" said with lower voice and closed his eye, she looked at him and hisses
