Chapter 26: CHAPTER 26
Adam, his father and his stepmother had got home from the hospital and she was in her room sleeping with the twins. As they entered the house and got down from the car, it was her new car that he presented to her and to avoid fighting between her and Adam again and he had called an Agent to bring housemaid that day.
Adam and his father was in the living room watching movie, Sina too came out home to with them but he didn't stayed long at all, left few minutes after.
"Adam! Now that you have though with your service and we thank God for that!"
"Yes! Daddy, we thank God"
"You will go and resume to work tomorrow morning"
"Good Daddy, okay!"
"I have sent mail to all the branch managers to let us meet at the headquarter which is the company so I will follow you and introduce you to them all"
"Okay! Daddy, am hearing you"
"And some important people in the company as my personal assistant and very soon others will be knowing you, not a most for all of them"
"Yes Daddy, it good"
"Be my P. A is not only in my company but at the general company that all us in the family managed"
"Okay Dad!, no problem"
"So wake up as early as possible, it won't good to be late to there and been keeping them waiting!"
"I heard you Daddy, I will" As they were talking, saw Adam's stepmother coming down from her bedroom.
"Oh! You are awake!" Talking to her.
"Yes my husband!" Sat down beside him.
"Did you sleep well? I hope the twins didn't distrusted you!"
"Not all! They are sleeping very today, even none of them shake as I left their side just sleeping!"
"Okay!, you can't compare hospital with home!"
"Yes! My husband, so what are you doing for dinner?"
"Adam will handle that, just resting as you have been!"
"I can do it! Am fine, I don't cook much not talk of the breakfast for you my husband, let me!"
"Doctor said that you have to rest, so rest please!"
"Yes! I will cook for him, so rest!" Adam said.
"Okay! Thank you very much!" Rest her back.
"Don't thanks me, I do it for my Dad not you at all--"
"Adam! Adam!! Are you alright? And you have talk like a responsible man just want to spoil it"
"Sorry Daddy!" Looked at his stepmother with bad eye.
"It's okay!" They heard a knocking at the door.
"Come in, the door is open" Adam stood up and went to the kitchen to cook.
"Are you expecting someone?" Ask her husband"
"Yes! The Agent, come in now!" Door opened and closed, the Agent entered with a young lady with a small bag on her hand and fair in complexion.
"Good evening Sir and Madam!" He greeted.
"Evening!, how are you?"
"Am fine Sir, so this is her"
"Good evening Sir and Madam, I greet you"
"Greeting to you too, the housemaid right?"
"Yes Sir! And she is a good girl and nice!"
"But my husband, I don't need housemaid now!"
"Off course, you need her very well!"
"My husband!, I don't need her even for what now?"
"If there is housemaid in the house when the incident happened, she would have helped and take you to the hospital. You don't know that it's God that served you!"
"Daddy is true, she need it" Adam said, standing at the dining room and looking at them.
"Okay! My husband, if you said so!"
"So, thank you very much Agent!" Showed his appreciation.
"You are welcome Sir, I will on my way and you be a good girl. Don't let them report you to me!"
"I will Sir and I won't disappointed you!"
"Good!, bye Sir!" Turned back and left, door closed.
"What it's your name?" Adam's stepmother asked.
"Donima Ma" blend down a little bit.
"That name sound some how, you know!" Adam said.
"There is different names in this world!" His father said.
"Donima!, am very nice and lovely if you cooperate and do things as I order you or want it to be"
"Yes MA! And I promised I will be a good girl!"
"That sound lovely and make sure you fulfilled it"
"I will MA" Adam went to the kitchen to check the food.
"Show her round the house and her room also tell her all what she has to know about this house"
"Okay! My husband" she stood up.
"Follow me now!" Going to the room, Donima took her bag on the floor and ran after her.
Adam's stepmother and the housemaid returned back to the living after some minutes and sat down back, the housemaid was standing at the back of the looking at her.
Adam had finished cooking and he was at the dining setting the table for his father only.
"Go and check the twins, if they are still sleeping use that to arranged your room"
"Okay! Ma" the housemaid left and Adam got down.
"I have set your table Dad" sat down on another chair.
"Okay my son!" He stood up and went to the dining room.
In the next morning, Adam had woke up early and dressing but he was a little bit late. His father had done and he was in the living room waiting for him.
The housemaid too had woke up cleaning the hole house before her Madam awoke and the twins too.
"Adam! Adam! Adam!!, answer me now!"
"Sir! Am here" ran out from his room.
"Let go, we don't have time to be wasting"
"Yes Sir!" Carried his father office's case.
"Good morning Adam and bye Sir!" Donima greeted.
"Bye!, tell my wife that I will be back very soon"
"Okay! Sir, I heard you" Adam and his father left the house and the housemaid continued with the cleaning.
After one hour, Donima was coming from the backyard got down to the living room when Adam's stepmother got there just woke up.
"Good morning Ma!" Greeted with respect.
"Morning! How are you? And how was your night?"
"Am fine MA! And it was good as well"
"Go to my room now and take care of my twins, bath for them and bring them down here with the basket"
"Yes ma" wanted to be going.
"After doing it put them here, let them be playing and meet me in the kitchen"
"Okay MA! I heard you" she left and Adam's stepmother went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. One hour after that time she came down to the living room as she heard the entrance door opened and closed.
"You come back early!, welcome"
"Yes my wife, I have told Donima to tell you now!"
"I don't know it will fast like this, hope no problem?"
"Nothing at all, before we will get there all the branch managers had been on their seat so I introduced him to them, show him is office which is mine and I am coming home, that is work of P. A any way!"
"Okay!, so how is it go, he like the place?"
"He like it very well" sat down on the chair.
"That is good to hear"
"Please! Get me something to eat!"
"Okay my husband, the food will have Ben ready!" Went to the kitchen and Donima got down with the twins.
"Welcome Sir" put the babies on the table.
"Well done, how is the twins doing?"
"Great Sir!" Went to the kitchen to joined Adam's stepmother.
