Chapter 9: CHAPTER 9
Adam and his father just arrived home from the registry with the new wife. The gate man closed the gate and ran to them, he was very happy to see the wife.
"Welcome sir! Welcome newly. Wife!"
"Thank you! How are you?"
"Fine Sir!, thank you for the package"
"Don't mention, let go inside" talking to his wife and going in.
"Pack the loads at the boot inside" Adam said, talking to the gate man.
"Okay! Is it Madam load?" Opened the boot, Adam didn't replied going inside.
Door opened and closed, all of them entered one after the others and stood at the front of the living room.
"Welcome to my small and beautiful house!"
"Wow!, it look beautiful and not small at all my husband" she laughed.
Door opened and closed again, the gate man entered put her bags on the floor and left.
"Thank you!, so let me show you around the house especially your room"
"Okay! My husband, and I like to see my kitchen too how big it is"
"Sure!, Adam! Carry her bags and follow us"
"Which bags Daddy?" Said with lower voice.
"Her bags now!"
"Why don't you carry it by yourself!" Talking to his stepmother.
"Adam! Adam!!" His father looked at him.
"Daddy!, they are things she can carry by herself" Said with anger and looked at her.
"Carry it!, she just arrived today you have to welcome her"
They left the living room, firstly went to the rooms. Showed her Adam own, his own and entered her room which was facing the other two; door opened.
"This is your room!, you do like it"
"Wow!, I love it! The decoration and everything" said with smile and looked around.
"Thank God you like it!, the two lock rooms are for the children"
"It good like that, I love this" Adam looked at her and put the bags on the floor at the room.
"Let go, let me show you the kitchen"
"Okay! My husband" they left the room.
They got back to the living room, two of them went to the kitchen and Adam sat down on the chair at the living room.
They got to the living room after looking around the house including the backyard and sat on the chair; Adam's father sat beside him and his wife sat on the second chair.
"This house is so big! I love it, the kitchen I fall in love with it especially it arrangement"
"Wow! And it's Adam that brought it arrangement when they were still building it"
"Really!, that is lovely you know"
"Yes! It's" off his shoes.
"My husband! Please I need someone to help me to clean my room just for toady, it's dusty for me and I can't sleep there"
"Who did you want to help you now!"
"Anybody now!, my husband"
"It's only gate man and he can't leave the gate even it's not part of his job"
"But Adam can help me to clean it just for toady now not every time!"
"Adam! Please, go and help her to clean her room just to mop it because of the dust"
"Who? Father" asked with louder voice.
"Your stepmother's room now!"
"Daddy!, you mean I should go and clean her room for her! What happen to her?!"
"Just for today! Now" wife said.
"Shut up your mouth there!, I should clean your room! Are you a wife or something else!"
"Adam! Adam!!" His father calling him but he didn't replied.
"So if am not here it's my own father you tell to go and clean your room for you!"
"Did you know it's my wife you are talking to!, your stepmother"
"Daddy! Let me tell her the truth, you just married her today! See nonsense she is doing"
"I am sorry! Deeply sorry!" She said with lower voice and looking with surprised.
"Sorry for yourself!, it's not your fault at all! It's father that cause all these" he stood up.
"Adam! Adam!!, I am talking to you!"
"Sorry! Daddy!" Took his car key on the table.
"Where are you going to now!?"
"I am going out!" Said with anger.
"To where? Adam, by this time of the day!"
Adam did replied, opened the door and closed it. Entered into the car and horn, as the gate man heard the horn he came out from his room and opened the gate for him when he had left, he closed it back and went back to his room.
"He will be fine! My husband"
"Okay!, may be you should come and sleep in my room for today and clean it tomorrow"
"It will better! My husband"
It was eight clock, Adam had not returned back home. His father had been worried just trying to take heart. So his wife suggested may be they should go and sleep that he would be back and her husband agreed went to his room to sleep.
When it was ten clock that Adam had not returned, his father came down to the living room and his wife too followed him, sat on the chair and looked worried.
"I am worry about Adam! This is ten clock P. M he has not return!"
"He use to go out like this?"
"No! No!!, I think it's because of you!"
"Because of me?" Asked with surprised.
"Yes!, my son has never go out like this since he has been born"
"But I don't do anything wrong to him!"
"Off course! You did" said with anger.
"I am sorry then, let stay here and be waiting for him. He should return before twelve"
"Okay! Okay!!" Put his leg on the table.
As they were waiting for him, two of them slept at the living room.
In the next morning, two of them looked around and stood. Adam's father shouted Adam's name to know if he had arrived but no replied, went to his room to check but he was not there and got back to the living room.
His wife assured him that Adam would be back just went to his room took his bath and her too followed him.
She came out few minutes cleaning the house when she heard a knocked at the door. It was Adam that arrived.
"Who is it?" She asked.
"Open the door and stop asking!" Door opened and closed. Adam entered
"Where did you now went to? Good morning" he didn't replied, dropped the car key on the table and went to his room.
She looked at him still he left and continued with the cleaning; Adam's father got down from his room.
"I think I heard Adam's voice!, his back?"
"Yes! My husband just now"
"Adam! Adam!! Adam!!" Calling him.
"Yes Sir!, I am here" got to the living room.
"Where are you coming from since yesterday! Where did you went to?"
"I went to Sina's house" said with lower voice.
"Okay! So why don't you pick my calls?"
"Nothing Sir!, I am sorry for that!"
"Adam! You are doing all these because of my wife!" Said with lower voice.
Adam didn't said anything just looking at his father and moving his head, his father too looked at him and went back to his room. Adam eyes and it stepmother met looked at her with bad eyes and went to his room.
