Big Dipper was cold and ruthless, and could be considered a 'decent' version of Wade.

In battle, he would occasionally talk crudely just to infuriate the enemy to death.

He wasn't a taciturn person.

By the same logic, he was strict when it came to teaching, but was very easy to get along with outside of that — provided that he could accept the occasional poisonous tongue.
