"Guys can you tell me what is going on?"
Hanson looks into the horizon, trudging back to his sniper rifle as he watched stressfully. Hearing the cries and screams of rich men and women from the Ipad as a light tower blows up. Flames charring the waters with wood breaking into splinters. Falling into the waters like ash in the snow. He could only wonder what was happening inside. A distorted audio of a lack of care and concern for the safety of everyone. They may as well evacuate everyone for this. Shaking his head nervously as he adjusted his sights.
"What had happened to Sylvie?"
Shao Lin shouts through the mike, hoping to get Ambar to talk from his view, but even he was just as busy, dispatching drones and taking the men surrounding him one by one using a chair. Watching as he slams the chair upon an injured bodyguard, knocking him unconscious. Something she had rarely seen him doing as she took out a knife hidden in her stockings, slashing men attempting to get close. She looks ahead, spotting the buyer who was laughing maniacally. Unable to stand properly with his associates attempting to carry him. To her right, she spots the cyborg tried to wipe off the blood covering his sleeve while hiding him away. Slowing making his way up the stairs. Behind her, she noticed Sylvie having a ball. Tearing through the blackjack table as men are thrown into the wall with wood splinters struck through their chests. The art installations tearing itself to shreds upon impact as fleeing bystanders hid themselves away from the terrors that were unfolding. Even though she was shocked that she became this violent, the target was still getting away.
"Not so fast!"
She immediately shattered the large amounts of wine and beverages in the area, swirling itself to form a large water tornado, tearing through the ceiling as the building's foundations rumbled. Feeling the electricity surging as the lights went out. Throwing everyone into disarray with dimly lit hallways.
"If you want to go, you should watch your back!"
She throws the torrent of liquids at the group as she spots the girl, her black hair from earlier now completely ablaze with her clothes completely ablaze, tripping all the fire alarms with every step melting the marble into an unrecognisable goo, even so, her outfit was amazingly not burning up. She watches as the lady stares at her coldly, reacting with a blast of flames, igniting the hallway and burning through the liquid into a large inferno. The heat furiously forming into a bigger threat as the foundations rocked, nearly destroying the building with smoke and falling wood. She cursed defiantly at the burning hallway, now a large inferno as she hears the laughter of the buyer. Probably dancing about at their ridiculous blunder. She shook her head, slashing men getting in her way. Unable to understand how the alcoholic drinks could ignite such a fire.
"Explosions they said!"
She looks at Sylvie, terrified at her newfound overreaction as she is brought up by torrents of wood. Each branch a stepping stone as she immediately brings the horde of planks to their doorstep. Beside her, Max ran alongside, still having no absolute idea as to what had happened as he sees the girl having trouble igniting the last remaining wood with a blast ruptures the halls, each flame melting semblances of luxury into a mess as she is immediately surprised by a punch to the face, pelting her across the hall and onto some plants. Knocking her to the ground as she sees her head bleeding hard from her impact, nearly hurting her vision.
"Nice!"
Ahead, he sees the buyer. His suit soaked beyond belief with his coat damp from the heat ignited from her palms. However despite himself sweating like a madman from hell in the rather heated environment. He doesn't seemed fazed, rather annoyed at the brute's appearance as he points at the associate to make his move.
"Come here you bastard!"
He watched as the cyborg immediately ran out into the sidewalk and pummelled him down to the ground. Missing a crazed Sylvie who rushed upon the girl Ambar calls Julie. Melting her every advance amid the dim lights blinding him, absorbing his loud impact that echoed through his ears, shaking the building once more from the crunching of wood and marble beneath him. Ahead, he sees the cyborg transform his hands into a large drill, fully stained with enemy blood as it began twirling like a ballerina, energetic yet still graceful despite it's utilitarian looks, driving through the air and towards his face.
"You muffin face!"
He immediately retaliated, rocketing his determined fists towards his face. Thrusting through the heat with his fists ablaze as he feels the extremely cold and unfeeling sensation of transforming metal greeting him harshly. The man silently watch, shaking his head with disapproval. Looking at every drop of sweat dripping onto the grime.
"You know... I was just like you. But determination is such a parasite..."
He looked at Max as he calmed himself down from his Scottish speech, completely unconvinced as he began to lunge at his target. Angrier than before, but every move slowed him down further. Through the drill and screams silencing through the room, he watches a large solid piece drilling through the floor. His leg unable to move as he feels a cold sensation, becoming tighter to the touch as he fidgeted about.
"You still want to continue? How about I reiterate once again. Maybe then you will remember forever."
He looks up in horror, watching the drill drive headfirst into his chest. He quickly tries his hardest, using his arm to protect himself, but it felt completely useless, watching his useless self dragged and moving uncontrollably like a rag doll, losing all sense of movement as he watches his arm fly off. His beautiful arm... His mouth bleeding like a waterfall as he sees his colleagues rushing to his aid, but even he knew it was too late.
"MAX!!!"
They pelt the cyborg with led and water as he boosted away, watching gleefully at his colleagues surrounded his now useless body, groaning by their arms in his quick escaped. Ambar looked at him angry, launching himself forward, jumping up the broken sidewalks upon broken planks, his robots all swarming to his aid amongst the crumbling structure in hot pursuit. Each of them wandering about recklessly as led was fired all over the now destroyed building with gunfire echoing through the building like an afterthought.
"Max are you alright?!?!?"
He looks at a sobbing Shao Lin as she grabbed his now stiff arm, absolutely struggling to move as his eyes began to sleep. Still unable to know if he really had a brother this whole time. He looks up at her, her dress now stained with blood as he looks at her with a comforting smile.
"I'm sorry I couldn't share a last drink... friend..."
She looks at him sheepishly, nudging him violently, hoping he could live. But as she feels the flood soaking the fabric of her dress amongst drips of her warm tears, she stopped, laying by his side silently as he gave a thumbs up. Laying by his side with his leg cuffs, looking aimlessly at what was a friend that he knew.
"My family... if you are here... I'm coming home..."
He looks away, his eyes lifeless, staring at her uncontrollable tears as he drips down onto the ground like a mess. Splattering her with blood as she firmly grabbed his hand. Weeping as she screamed onto the mike. Her body frightened with intensity as water seeping from the top of the building rise up.
"MMMMAAAAXXXX!!!!"
Leroy could only sigh, hearing her uncontrollable scream of anguish as he looks ahead at the building now beginning to fall apart. His friend now gone. He doesn't know what his friends are feeling now, but even then he knew Max won't back down at such a juncture. They would have to move on. With a tear shed, he sighs once more, looking down at his now muddled phone as he notices it tracking a large irregular signal in the area as he looked on confused.
"Umm guys... I tracking a large signal... it seemed like they are doing something..."
He spammed the phone keyboard as his phone goes dark, red jumble flow through his phone as his phone screeched and halted upon each indentation. He slowly typed in codes, each string squinting his sight as a silent sirens echoed through the now crowded streets. Packed with people escaping the horrors as police officers who just arrived scrambled for control of the situation. Tasking people to move as ambulances arrive at the scene. Each whistle of attention drumming his ears like a loud speaker. He slowly opened the interface, sliding through the screen of numbers as glitched mumble became recognisable words.
"Eureka..."
He silently whispered, grinning at the power of progress as he hears tired soldiers rather uncomfortable in the cockpit from his software. Despite this, they seemed energetic with sounds of water and jazz echoing through the chaotic sky.
"Has he allowed us to use the nuke yet sir?"
A young German whispered to what seemed like the captain as Leroy hears him slouching silently, each move ruffling the seats as he immediately looks out into sea, grabbing his phone as it quickly changed it's interface, tracking the sea as it found a random irregular heat signature in the distance. Filled with warm liquid and erratic air.
"Take care of this device, I'll take care of this situation!" Hanson watched in confusion, unable to hear what he was saying as he watches him slide his phone into his pocket and jump off stylistically of the ledge, catching the eye of everyone who screamed at the silhouette falling into the darkness as a loud roar from the sky screamed, dropping down steeply and appearing behind him in a flash. It's sleek white metal gleaming in the darkness as it grabbed onto him, barely scrapping the concrete floor and boosting him into the air like an Iron Man suit. Collapsing and clasping into place as it formed what seemed like a large creature. It's ownership from The Light of Men extremely visible, thundering through the smoke with steadfast and duty towards it's target. Uncertain of it's fate.
RIP Maximillian...
