We enter the house and sit on the sofa to relax our bodies. Sam go to the kitchen and prepare the iced tea for us. Honestly, I feel uncomfortable to be served like this, even I can't produce a result yet.
"How you make the ice cube for this tea Sam?"
I forget to ask them about the ice cube. Honestly, I want to have the ice-making tools and bring it during my journey.
"I use the refrigerator to make it."
"What?"
Does he use a refrigerator?
The electrical stuff isn't invented yet in this world, so how can he have the refrigerator?
"May I see it?"
"Why do you want to see it?"
"I want to see your kitchen and cook for dinner"
"You can cook?"
"Yeah I want to learn from you.I've been traveling alone, and I tired of eating fish."
"You can buy food from the merchant's stall."

Yeah, looks like I succeed to deceive him.
He leads me to the kitchen, leaving Lady Sophia alone in the living room. The kitchen looks minimalist.
There are mini scales, a big cupboard, a kitchen's cabinet, a strange small tube and a box that looks like a mini-fridge made of glass.It has a sink too.
I can see the condensation behind the glass looks like a refrigerator on Earth. That's why I recognize it immediately.
"This is our kitchen. Do you know how to use this stuff?"
"No. I never see some stuffs here before."
"Haaaahhh, so I need to explain from the start huh?"
"Your stuffs are expensive, no way for a commoner like me can buy it."
"I see. Let's start from this portable stove."
He takes the mini-scales. Look like a weight scale but smaller. I can't see the number though because there is a metal plate covering on the top.
Wait...
That was a stove?!
"This stove powered by Lava Stones that founded on the 30th floor of Abyss Sanctuary Dungeon on the Althea. You need to use your mana to heat the stone. You can fry the meat on this metal plate."
Then Sam removes the metal plate from the scale and I can see a scarlet gem inside the stoves.
"You can remove the metal plate on top and ignite the flame. You can use it to cooking with a utensil like frying, boiling water to make soups and many things.But I don't want to burn my hand, so I use magic stone to use the stove"
When Sam uses his mana, the stone glowing and the flame appear. This stove is very perfect for me. I don't want to use primitive way to make bonfires.
"Next we move to this magic faucet."
He takes the strange tube made of metal. The tube sizes are around an adult's hand palm. This tube has a small hole in the middle and above the tube, there is a button. This tube is faucet?!
"This powered by Ocean Stone that founded on the 36th floor of Abyss Sanctuary Dungeon too. It uses our mana and changes it into freshwater."
He demonstrates the process starting by pressing the button while channeling his mana. After that, the water comes out from the hole in the middle of the tube.
I really feel this stuff isn't matched with this world's setting.
"Next is the refrigerator. This one powered by Frozen stone that founded on the 38th floor of Abyss Sanctuary Dungeon too. I can't supply the mana anytime so I use magic stone as an alternative option. This Frozen stone will lower the temperature and make anything I keep here cool and long-lasting."
Simply put, this is refrigerator supplied by a battery (magic stone)
"The cupboard is the place for foods, fruit, and seasoning like salt, sugar, and vinegar."
"The cabinet is for cooking utensils like frying pan, pot, whisker, bowl, and cutlery like spoons, knife, fork, plate."
Uhh, I think I get it.
"But who was making these amazing stuff?"
"This made by Karina the Legendary Alchemist, the Hero companion too."
"I see."
Cassandra the Great Mage and Karina the Legendary Alchemist are the Hero companions.
But who is the Hero?
This is strange.
The hero story is very famous and yet I don't know anything about it?
Even though this boy was able to read many books in the past, shouldn't I have the memory of Hero even just a bit?
Could it be the Hero memories is missing when I transferred into this body?
Or The memories of Hero is sealed because of my 'Demon Lord' traits?
I already confirm, my Demon Lord traits can affect the dungeon, so there's a chance it's would affect this boy's memories too.
Damn, too many mysteries.....
If I ask Sam about Hero, he might feel doubtful to me.
Another Dead End huh.
"How much this 3 stuff will cost me If I buy it?"

"What?!"
Hell no, I even don't have a single gold coin and yet the price is crazily expensive.
"I can give you free if you able to get rid of David."
"Can you promise to me?"
"Of course. Do you ever hear the phrase 'A stick and Carrot' ?"
"Yeah, I know that so don't bother to explain it to me."
"Good if you understand that quickly. So would you like to help me make dinner?"
"Yes."
I helped him to make a simple sandwich filled by egg roll, chicken meats and few vegetables with a home-made sauce made by tomato.
"Wow, your cooking skill is very good. I never see this food before."
"In my homeland, this food is popular."
"I see. Can you set up the dining table? I will call Lady Sophia for dinner."
"Sure."
I place the sandwiches on 3 plates, take out the mug from the cabinet and filled it with cold water from the refrigerator.
I arrange the plate, spoon, fork, knife, and mug elegantly. After that Lady Sophia and Sam come to the dining room.
"Hmm, is this a new menu Sam? It's looking very delicious."
"Yes, Vin help me make it."
"Really? Wow, you are sure very talented Vin."
"Please enjoy the sandwiches, Lady Sophia."
"Sandwiches?"
'This food called sandwich in my homeland."
"Ohhh, I see!!!"
After taking a bite, their eyes sparkling.
"This is delicious, the egg is fluffy and very rich flavor
"Yeah, I agree with you, my Lady."
"Thanks for the compliment."
It seems my sandwiches are delicious. I feel relieved that my cooking skill isn't growing dull.
After enjoying the dinner, I help Sam to do the dishes.
"Vin, you will sleep in the guest room tonight. I will show your room."
"Thank you."
My room is quite far from their rooms.
Maybe they will do a secret talk without me. I think this whole day, they are keeping an eye on me.
As long as they don't attack me, that's enough for me. I enter my rooms and found that my room is very big.
A king-size bed, with a dressing table, a big wardrobe and carpet floor. This room is too extravagant!
