"For now, I will consider you seriously will protect Lady Sophia."
"Thank you, but I still don't receive a reply from my friend. How long that magic letter arrived at the receiver?"
"The moment when the paper burned, they will appear in front of the receiver."
I see this paper is like email, but why Olivia doesn't reply to my letter?
"Sam, what will you do If I don't receive her reply until tomorrow?"
Tomorrow is the meeting with David Wardenia. If Olivia doesn't reply to my letter until tomorrow, we can't execute our plan.
"We will postpone the meeting."
"You can do it?"

"But why Lady Sophia never join the conversation?"
"Don't mind me, Vin. I don't really know those stuff, but I trust Sam will do his best for my safety."

"Vin, let's choose your clothes for the meeting tomorrow."
"Okay, but please make it quick. I want to stroll around the city. I want to see David's mansion and maybe we can find useful information."
"Yeah, I think the same too."
"Please have a drink before we go Vin, Sam."
"You are right Lady Sophia. Please wait for a moment."
Yeah, I feel thirsty for 3 hours on a trip to this city. I hope there are ice cubes to cool the water.
Sam then went to the kitchen and prepare several drinks.
"Here my Lady, and this is for you Vin."
He brings 3 fancy ceramic mugs filled by iced tea. Hell yeah, this is very good.
"Drink to your heart 's content, there're second if need be."
"Isn't this tea expensive?"
"What are you saying Vin? You're my employee and this treatment is just like an investment to improve your performance to me."
After saying that, Lady Sophia drink the iced tea gracefully. At that moment I feel her 'noble' aura even though she was commoner. If she tells me she was noble, I think I could believe it.
I drink the iced tea slowly while savoring the cold sensation.
After replenishing ourselves, we will get back to the store. Sam locks the house again and we enter the store. Sam leads us to a special corner on the first floor.
I can see a lot of fancy clothes like the ones worn by the nobles in novels.
Sam takes a black short-tunic with the smallest size to fit my body. The tunic made of silk and very comfortable. I choose the tunic with long sleeves to hide my daggers. Surprisingly the short-tunic is fitted with my body and doesn't hinder my movement.
Sam also takes trousers to match my tunic. He prepares a leather belt too.
"Woah, you quite handsome with this outfit huh. Not bad."
Ehhh Sam praises me.
I never see my face though, so I don't know he genuinely praises me or insults me. I hope that the house has a mirror.
"Vin, you look very nice on that outfit. Your aura is different."
Even Lady Sophia praises me. Maybe Sam is seriously saying that. This outfit is so much different from my casual shirt given by Olivia. I choose a casual outfit because I don't want to stand out too much and avoid trouble.
"Thanks. I've been choosing the outfit, let's stroll around the city."
"Wait, I and Lady Sophia need hooded robe to keep our face hidden. We don't want to be spotted by David's man."
He takes two black robes with his size and Lady Sophia's size
Sam give my outfits to nearby employees and tell him to bring it to the private house. Sam also gives the key to that employee.
"Why you give the house's key easily to your worker? He can steal your expensive stuff isn't it?"
"They won't do it. When we interview our employees, we make sure we choose someone who doesn't have criminal records."
"How can you know if they have criminal records?"
"In their Identity card, you can see it if they ever become a prisoner in the Justice Guild."
"Besides that, our Company pays them higher than what they expected if they work flawlessly. So they won't do anything like stealing our stuff."
"I see."
We exited the store after they wear their robe and use the hood to cover their faces.
Outside the store I find huge bustling crowds and several horse-carriages pass across us. Various stall lined beside the streets, overflowing with clamoring liveliness.
Because of this era, Most of the Kingdom is uninhabited land, so people will tend to swarm cities or villages like this.
And I want to try various food here, but I can't afford to do that, because of my mission. We immediately go to the North Quarter to find David's Mansion. Luckily his mansion located near the center of town, so we don't need to go deeper to North Quarter to find it.
His Mansion is very large with a two-story building. It's size even comparable with the City mansion. From the distance, we can see two guards, but there aren't Golden star crest on their breastplates.
"They are private guards. They swear their loyalty to the noble who employ them."
"What is David Wardenia rank?"
"He is Count."
His ranks is quite high huh.
I want to see if his mansion has a backyard or not, but we can't come closer because we need to pass those guards in front of the mansion.
In the North Quarter, I don't see any royal guards patrolling here. Probably because this private guard already here to protect this quarter.
We decided to stop our investigation today because we can't get much information.
"Is there a place to find more pieces of information about David? Like bar perhaps?"
"This is his territory, I don't think we can get that information easily. There is a bar here, but you can't enter because of you still minor. I can't go here too, because no one will guarantee my safety."
We meet a dead-end huh.
In the end, we stroll around the city until evening. We buy a lot of food at the stalls. Sam even buys me 5 mithril daggers. He really bet everything on me now.
In the evening, we return to Lady Sophia's private house.
