POV Caroline
My name is Caroline Anastasia. My job is a Guardian for Her Highness Olivia Gracia, the sole princess of the Evandel Kingdom. Currently I in the middle of my journey to Teles Village.
Yesterday, I got a message from Adventure Guild. They ask me to investigate the abnormality in the dungeon near Teles Village. Usually, I never accept any quest since I already become Her Highness Guardian, but this time is different.
That day, when we separated with the princess savior, my Lady request for training. Due to my negligence, my Lady was kidnapped. But luckily my Lady comes back safely. She told me how she able to escape from the kidnapper.
Her Highness savior is a strange boy with the Demon Lord "trait". Honestly, I couldn't help but worry about my Lady. Since she always takes the boy's side whenever I tried to convince her about his "Demon Lord" trait. Maybe my Lady was under his magic's control.
When we separated with him, I immediately escort Her Highness to the Capital. I need to check her condition and ask our professional ArchMage to determine her under control or not.
"Her Highness Olivia isn't under control negative magic."
But the ArchMage told me she was safe.
Even he said that I still have suspicion toward the boy. He was born with Demon Lord "trait".That wasn't a simple matter.
And then, the opportunity comes to me. When I go to Adventure Guild to handover the bandit corpses, I hear about the abnormality in the dungeon near Teles Village.
Teles Village is located near Listel, the city where we stayed before Her Highness kidnapped. There's a high chance of the boy come to that village after separate from us.
I want to know the truth. If I find he was a real demon with bad intention against our Kingdom and my Lady, I will kill him with my hands, even he was Her Highness savior.
I volunteered to investigate the dungeon. Since I was an A-rank Adventurer, I can get the mission easily.
I already get permission from my Lady. I told Her Highness I want to investigate the boy and my Lady happily accepts my request. Before departure,I make a promise to Her Highness Olivia to contact me when she receives a letter from that boy.
Currently, my Lady is on training with Dominic.
Dominic is the General Commander of our army. He was a former S-rank adventurer.
In his heyday, he slays the dragon who attacks our Kingdom. Our King Sir Cassius Van Haste gave him the General Commander position and promoted as a noble.
He talented with sword and magic, so he is a very perfect tutor with Her Highness.
I'm very happy, that Her Highness willing to learn how to protect herself. I can't always be on her side forever.
But now I have an important task to do.
To confirm the boy's existence.
