CHAPTER 8: Set Out

It was already a week after being here in the woods with those two beauties. Even though I finally have my phone be able to work again. I was wondering about leaving this forest. But it would mean going to human territory. Would it be alright for Kitsune to return there since she faced a harsh reality for a being like her in there. "Hey! Zero are you there?". Merleona says waving her hand at my face. "Are you okay, you didn't move an inch there?". She asked as she sound so worried about what just happened to me being absent minded. I asked at her that she became curious. "That's fine by me, but why?". She asked in a curious way of tone. "I have a very important sentiment to discuss with you two so can you call her?". I said that made her obey without hesitation and then she walk towards the door since I was outside the house. After a while she returned with Kitsune immediately sat down in front of me. "So what was that important matter that involve both of us?". Merleona asked straightforwardly as ever. "Well, I was thinking of leaving this forest and decend to the town, and I was thinking of us going together". I said directly without any delay since I wasn't a fan of flowery conversations either. "Well that's fine by me since, I also wanted to see how was those humans doing there". Merleona says in reply to me as I look at Kitsune for her own opinion. "Are you okay with it Kitsune?". I said to her but she smiles wholeheartedly. "Well, aren't you so concerned about me that much? Of course I'll go with you". She answered that somehow I feel relieved. "Since it might become a burden for you to return their with me so I thought It's best to ask you yourself". I explained to her as she simply answered me with a smile. "Don't worry about me, I am fine and since I gained this form nobody will know me". She says with a very reassuring tone. "If you said so then its fine". I said as I agree with her as she has a point in there. "But if we were leaving this place, won't that mean abandoning this house here". Merleona pointed out in that moment. "Don't worry about that, I'll just place the whole house in my Item Box". I said like it was not a big of an issue for me I guess. "Well, I forgot of that rare ability you possess". "Oh sorry but for petesake, I don't agree with her to walk, but it is ridiculous even using magic it takes 3 days to get to the nearest Port at it took me 9 days to get here by running since my body is in a grave state".
