Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Being Everyone's Target Is Amazing!
'Where are those girls anyway? Girls these days, they go anywhere without permission. I hope they didn't get lost or some sort.' Sora turned right in an alleyway and opened a door.
Sora Valtora is known to be the most powerful magician. He was still confused tho. His real identity still bothers him.
'Who the hell am I? Thorne or Sora Valtora. Are they lying to me!?" He clenched his fists. He averted his attention. He went to the inn and was appointed by a beautiful maiden that has a red hair and in a maid outfit. She's an elf.
"Two rooms please, one for two people and one for mine." The maid looked at Sora confused.
"Where are your companions anyway sir?" Then, Sora sighed while explaining the situation.
"Well, it's dangerous here. Here in Leverie, gangsters and bad guys are everywhere. No one can even maintain peace." Sora's eyes widened with horror.
"Please book me in, I'll find them first." He waved goodbye and ran towards the main street.
'Familiarization!' His vision changed and only showing the coordinates of the person he is finding. Useful on crowds though it has its weaknesses. You can't see who it is and you can't know if it's true or not. It relies on the sense that it traced when you physically contacted to another.
'The middle part of the town!?' He rushed forward the crowd. It was like a stampede and the only way out is through is going forward.
"Wait for me, Aslia and Cylinda, I will find you even if it's the last thing I do!" He whispered with determination.
After the stampede,he found them. Cornered by council guards. They were looking awful while Cylinda is protecting Aslia. They were both on ground. The familiarization didn't worked as expected so he scouted around and saw them.
Sora couldn't let them have their way so without hesitation, he cast a spell no one even a level 20 magician can do.
'Change Class, Forge new weapon, Dagger' The a blinding light appeared temporarily blinded the perpetrators. Sora was able to change classes and forge a new weapon in return. In order to control that, you must also train other classes and it will be a pain. Magicians can't do that except for Sora, the prodigy.
"Heyo! Aslia and Cylinda, are you okay?" He waved at them while walking. They were in a dead end alleyway. Familiarization isn't that accurate so Sora had to find it himself.
"Oh, who are these?" He calmly pointed at the three guards.
"Uhm, council guards." Cylinda replied and at that time. She was shaking while she protecting Aslia by her side.The guards can see already.
"Cylinda, when we first met, I saw you were also cornered by three bastards but now this. But it evolved, it became 'The three little shits', isn't it amazing?!" He let out an annoying smirk.
"Who are you anyway? You lowly assassin. You even can't beat us." One of them replied and made Sora laugh hard.
"What if I tell you, I can beat you a piece of magic." The man laughed. They can't believe that an assassin can use magic.
'Return!' He returned to his class as a magician and the men was in horror.
"You challenged the wrong person though I admire your arrogance and stupidity so I have a tip. Go to hell, okay?!, Glacial impact!" Then, a glacial water force came on impact. Sora raised his two middle fingers at them.
'Magic Protection Ring, Activate. Protect and support ring, Activate!' He smirked the last time and the water came in impact.
Cylinda and Aslia were protected but they were still wet after the side effects of the glacial impact. After rain.
It was a warm rain and the other demi-humans felt it too.
"Cylinda, as my right hand girl. Explain what happened to Aslia and you," he later pointed at the sky and shouted.
"Return, last two destination!" Then, they arrived back to the inn which surprised many.
"About the booking of the two rooms---" The made cut him off with a sorry face.
"Sorry sir but we only have one room left. I'm sorry but a V.I.P personel needed it." He froze, he felt like he was having Deja Vu.
'Wait, know that this already happened but with two girls? Seriously!? God, why do you have to put me in things like this. I am just a fifteen year old magician. If it was different people, they would have probably filled 4 tanks of nosebleed.' Sora was forced to book to one room, one bed, and you have to go to the public hot tub to relax the stress of the day.
"Your name sir?" He knew that from this point. He might screw up. Sora Valtora is now wanted in Tyrone Federation.
"Thorne," Cylinda couldn't help but react to it. She knew that it was Sora's original name but she didn't know that he will use it.
"He do thinks like nobody. Thorne," she smiled and went to the room number indicated to the key. The room is quite big.
Aslia was resting at the bed while Cylinda was explaining the situation.
"We got lost so we chose to go to the middle part of this town. Then, the two of us looked for you in the alleyway but we got cornered by those guards. Aslia tried to protect me but ended up being hurt. They wanted us to come with them to the royal castle because we are lost but I doubt that thing to happen." Sora was looking at the window and realize one thing.
"The search for Sora Valtora has begun," Cylinda was shocked, "Eh! It's too fast. The Tyrone really had connections and now, they will take even the innocent to prove the guilty!" She couldn't help but punch the wall like Sora when he gets angry.
"Becoming everyone's target is amazing, don't you think. The pressure of catching me is way high and protecting you and Aslia is only minor to me. Not minor thing but minor pressure. 'Cause I trust the both of you," An unexpected smile cam from Cylinda's cute face.
'But we just need to survive 10 days from now and meet at the demon forest.' A ray of hope shone in Sora's eyes as he was also full of determination.
"Let's go!" He shouted which he got a reply from Cylinda, "Yes!".
