Chapter 34: Last Time

However Kristen's eyes were glued to the girl that was standing behind Carlos. 

When Susan noticed the anomaly, she nudged Kristen at the side.

"N-nice to meet you uncle Carl." He voiced before his eyes shot towards the girl again.

Susan wasn't sure what happened to her son today. He seemed different ever since he set his eyes on Gwen. 

'Or did he…?' 

Hiding a smile, Susan introduced Gwen to Kristen.

"And this is Gwen, Carl's goddaughter." Susan said as she pushed Gwen towards Kristen who also seemed out of it the moment she laid her eyes on him.

'He's so handsome.' Gwen thought as she bit her lip, a faint blush tainting her cheeks.

"Hi." Gwen said, her blue eyes looking everywhere except at Kristen.

"Hi, I'm Kristen." 

"I know." Gwen replied, the blush on her cheeks darkening slightly.

"Uh what's going on?" Ronald said when he noticed Kristen and Gwen staring at each other.
