Chapter 4: Glass
Li's body was tall around 7 feet. This was quite tall for human standards. His hair was around shoulder length and was a wavy silver. His eyes were also shown as being a dreamy silver color like someone familiar from a web novel he saw. His body was lean and his....area wasn't bad either, above average.
"Not bad... I look pretty good for being in a new body." Li did a few poses in the mirror to show the strength of his muscles. His arms weren't rugged but they seemed strong. His legs glistened in the heat made by the desert.
SYSTEM: CONGRATS FOR LOOKING IN A MIRROR.
REWARD: FIRE AND MANA MANIPULATION
"So I can just blow everything up, correct? That sounds fun." Li said, striking a few new poses in the glass.
SYSTEM: I MEAN, SURE BUT YOU MIGHT DIE. JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE RESISTANCE DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE IMMUNE.
Li stopped making poses and snapped his fingers. A small flame was lit on the tip of his index finger. It didn't hurt, probably due to the resistance achievement. It was a soft gold and red flame. Li thought about different colored flames, and lo and behold, it changed colors, rapidly from blue to green, and then yellow, and also black.
"Let's try out this mana manipulation." Li put away his little flame and try to use the mana. Sadly, it didn't work. Li did a few thrust and a pose resembling a Kamehameha, but nothing came out.
SYSTEM: YOU HAVEN'T IMPLEMENTED WHAT YOU WANT MANA TO DO. THINK OF SOME PLOTS FROM SOME BOOKS YOU'VE READ.
MISSION: FIGURE OUT HOW MANA WORKS AND IMPLEMENT IT INTO THE WORLD
REWARD: NO LIMIT- MANA
Li pondered on the idea on how mana should work as he sat down. Li was getting quite thirsty standing and sitting the hot desert area to he put his mana ideas to the side. He took some sand and and melted it into a glass cup, and through some hard work in the sand, made it smooth.
SYSTEM: YOU HAVE ACHIEVED GLASSMAKING AND CRAFTING
"Now I just need some water...."
Li did the usual thought process of water, the oceans, and the sea. Soon enough some water was in the glass cup he had made previously.
SYSTEM: YOU HAVE CREATED SALT WATER. WATER AND SALT HAVE BEEN ADDED TO LIST OF CREATION
"Shit, I can't drink this. System, why did you give me salt water and not fresh water?"
SYSTEM: YOU THOUGHT ABOUT OCEANS AND THE SEA, THEREFORE YOU GET SALT WATER. YOU CAN MAKE REGULAR WATER AS WELL.
Li dumped his salt water into the sand, making it moist. It soon dried up due to the extreme heat in the desert. Li put his hand over the glass cup and thought about regular, not salted, water. Soon a small stream came from his hand, almost like there was a hole in the middle of his hand. Li took a sip of the water this time, and fell over on his back. The water was more refreshing than the stuff back on Earth. It was crisp and despite the heat, cool.
"Just what a god needed. System, I've been thinking, what's the List of Creation?"
SYSTEM: IT'S THE LIST OF ALL THINGS YOU'VE CREATED. WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE IT?
"I mean sure, though I haven't made a lot yet.
SYSTEM: GENERATING.....
The ground soon rumbled and out came a large glass monolith, shining in the sand and reflecting the light all around it. The reflecting sunlight became so bad that the area around the monolith became glass.
"Uh system, I'm not that tall". Li was quite large, but the monolith was like a skyscraper to a rat.
SYSTEM: THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM NOT MINE. I JUST MADE ROOM FOR MORE ITEMS LATER. IF THE TIME COMES I'LL MAKE ANOTHER ONE.
Li grumbled and stared straight up and saw small letters carved at the top of the monolith. It was the items and the biomes he had created so far.
Li felt something off about the ground he was standing on, so he looked down found that his feet have melded with the surrounding glass from the monolith.
"Hmm...I have a good idea." Li said with the devilish grin he showed earlier in the day.
"System, create a glass biome, with enough room for the monolith in the center."
SYSTEM: HOW LARGE?
"Let's make it half the size of the desert biome. Make it the glass almost like mountains and large, with flat lands as well."
SYSTEM: OKAY
The common rumbling of the around soon occurred and the area around Li started to change. Large glass shards sprouted out from the ground. It spread across the ground, almost like the sea was charging to the surrounding areas. Soon, a glass biome was created.
SYSTEM: GLASS BIOME CREATED. I MADE THE SUN ONLY HIT THE MONOLITH SO WE DON'T BURN EVERYONE ON THE WORLD TO DEATH DUE TO THE BIOME'S REFLECTION.
ACHIEVEMENT: MYTHIC BIOME
REWARD: GLASS CREATURES CREATION AND SOUL CREATION.
NOTE: YOU MUST STILL CREATE THE BIOME FOR THE ELVES.
Li looked around and the scenery was breathtaking. The glass around was clear and magical. It was almost unreal to see, with the clear areas.
"Well, if I get glass creatures, I want to make glass humans, and that means I need to make a glass town".
"Let's get started on Glass City... I need to think of a better name".
