Chapter 38: She is Mine
In front of his eyes, there were three people talking to each other. But there was one who looked gloomy and didn't like the conversation. It was his client and another two who were talking to her were someone who were renowned in Magic Land.
He then walked towards Anna as Alphonse followed him again. Slowly calming his breathe, he curled up his lips revealing a gentle smile and hugged her from behind.
"I missed you so much? How have you been?"
For a moment, Anna's eyes were flashing with murderous intent and was ready to kill who held her from behind, but upon hearing the voice, a smile formed on her lips.
"I missed you too and I've been well." She said.
Now it was finally happening. It was the work for which she was paying Oslo five million for.
She then looked in front of her and her lips curled up even more. They had a grim face and it was impossible that they weren't mad. But seeing this, at least Anna was satisfied even if Oslo wasn't; not because of the hug but because of the faces another two were making.
Seeing Oslo hug a girl in such a bold manner out of nowhere, Alphonse coughed and excused himself saying, "Looks like if I be here, I'll become a hindrance. So, brother let's meet next time. I'll contact you when you're free."
Oslo gave a last glance of 'Don't call me brother, it's disgusting' and waved his hand as if bidding Alphonse farewell. Well now at least one problem was gone. Alphonse just laughed and entered the portal.
"Ahem...little brother. Does she know you?" One man who had a fan in his hand asked Oslo seeing him hug Anna as if they knew each other.
Both of the dudes in front of Oslo were handsome and they seemed...rich!
Oslo acted as if he didn't listen anything they were saying and asked Anna, "Do you know them?"
Two men were enraged upon hearing those words from him mouth. Did she know them? Of course, if she didn't then why would she even chat with a stranger for a very long time.
But even though they were clearly unhappy, they masked their faces with smile and gave a feeling of being calm. They wanted to beat this humiliating bastard senseless...but not in front of Anna.
Anna nodded on Oslo's question and said,"I do know them. Let me introduce you three."
"The man with a fan in his hand is Delines. And the man behind him is his follower, Celric."
Of course, he knew them. But for the sake of his job, he had to pretend not to. He acted like that because if he didn't then the client might not be satisfied. Those two were very popular in Magic Land and rarely no one knew them.
Delines was the son of Harphin after all, who owned three countries in Magic Land and he was also a gold rank adventurer.
Celric was no less either. Although being a follower of Delines, he was a silver rank adventurer which was only one rank below Delines'. If possible, Oslo wouldn't have even considered crossing path with them but job was job and money was life just few days ago, Who knew that he could score big just from going on simple quests...but now the deed was done, there was no point in wining about it.
"And he..."Anna said looking at Oslo who hugged her from back and said, "He is Jackson Morph. He is my boyfriend."
She knew that from now on, Oslo would be a target of them and so throw them off, even if its just a little. So, she told them his alias.
Jackson Morph? Her boyfriend?! Delines and Celric were dumbfounded and at the same time, they were angry as well. This little pig who looked like he had just come out of a sty was her boyfriend? How could it be? Both have the same thing running through their head.
"Are you sure?" Delines asked, "You might have mistaken him for some else."
"No," Anna denied, "He is indeed my boyfriend."
"How can that be?" Celric couldn't hold it in anymore of the nonsense, "Aren't you and young master engaged?"
"We are..." Anna replied.
"Then why do you have a boyfriend?"
"Well, being engaged doesn't mean you can't have a boyfriend." Anna said solemnly.
"Do you even know what you're blabbering about?" Celric was on his last nerve.
Don't get scared! Don't get scared! Keep on performing. It was the only thing running inside Oslo's mind.
Oslo then glanced at Celric and said, "Are you the one who is engaged to her?"
"No!"
"Then stay in your limits and just don't jump in someone else's matter." Oslo said as his hug became even tighter.
Seeing Oslo embrace his fiancée, Delines clenched his fist as he satred at Oslo with pure killing intent with no smile masking it what so ever. All his face resembled murder and only murder.
Also felt a chill run down his spine meeting those gazes. His heart skipped a beat, but he had to continue. Even if he was struggling to even spill out one word, he had to give it one more push if he wanted this to be over once and for all. He then calmed his nerves and said,
"What are you looking at? If you're saying me to leaver her then forget about it. She is mine!"
Delines' nails dug deep into his flesh that blood was dripping down his clenched fist. He had tried all his best for not to kill this boy. And it was his limit, but he couldn't just do it right in front of his future wife. If he did killed him then it would do him no good in the future considering the power backing Anna.
Gritting his teeth, he made a hollow laugh, "Haha, I see. It seems if we stay here any further, we'll only become a hindrance in their love life. Let's go back, Celric!"
Saying that, both of them left. Oslo knew that Delines was triggered and he would be out for his blood in the future. He wanted to cry blood but no tears left his eyes.
Its gone! My future is gone!
Looks like I'll follow the safety plan in the future. I will never cross his way ever again, unless I'm stronger than him...no, I'll never cross his path. No way I'm going to die this young. I even have to make my meteoric rise.
But from the way he saw it, his future was bleak, no matter which direction he went. But that wasn't going to stop him...or at least he thought so...so...sigh.
Seeing them leave like that, Anna was the only one satisfied and happy out of the four. When Oslo let go of her, she patted his shoulder and said,
"Well done! Now, only a little push next time would be enough to break the engagement. Actually, I don't think it'll even require a second push after this show but better be cautious. Hahahaha."
"I'll provide you with the money when i go home because I don't have a single penny on me right now. It'll take some time but you'll get it. So, have you considered another request of mine?"
"To go in a dungeon with you and your party? That is I can do but..." Oslo hesitated before saying, "I want your help with something?"
"Help with something? Lets hear it then, since you have helped me this time even though it was for money." She said, "But don't include things like take care of your pets or something like that...but if it is clearing a dungeon or something, I'm fine with it."
"Its just i want you to..."
...
Anna nodded her head hearing him, "So I can do as I please, right?"
Oslo didn't reply and only nodded. She then walked to the portal with a happy face as she not only was about to get rid of the marriage but also the favor Oslo asked was the cause of her happiness. She quite liked doing this favor.
"Ok, let's meet on this place after two weeks. Then we'll go and clear the dungeon I talked about and I'll pay you at the same time."
Bidding her farewell, he heaved a sigh of relief and felt that the weight weighing down his heart was finally lifted. He wasn't sure that if she would do him the favor he asked for, but seeing her affirmation, he was relieved.
He then mumbled, "There is one another thing I to do..."
He then went to a place which was not too popular with the riches but for a poor hog like him, it was a praise worthy place. He then opened the door of the shop and entered.
Clang~ Clang~ Clang~
The shop owner was a blacksmith and was currently banging down his hammer as if he was making something. Oslo looking at the shop owner said,
"Excuse me, I want you to make something for me..."

"It isn't difficult but it'll cost you." The shop owner said hearing his request, "Five silvers for both the items you asked."
"It is doable." Oslo said as he knew that there was no other person he knew who was multitalented as this guy.
"Young lad, since you're making it, is this for your girlfriend?" The owner asked.
"You can say so." Oslo said and gave three silvers to the shop owner as an advance for the items he wished to have and left the shop.
"Young lads sure have it good." The shop owner mumbled with a smile on his face. He then again picked up his hammer,
"Well then, lets get to work. Can't have that young lad complaining tomorrow."
Clang~ Clang~ Clang ~

Leaving the shop, Oslo realized that it was the day... the day when those bastards came and made a mess of their house. In a carefree manner, he entered the portal and went to his house because he didn't want to miss them again.
Creak~
The house was as before but there were two people inside his house when he opened the door breaking their house wares again.
Slowly he walked towards those loan sharks with a hideous look.
Alright, let's settle this once and for all!
