Chapter 54: CHAPTER 53 BLAISE
When they arrived in one of the villages where the Shadow Fang Bandit lived, they saw how the villagers were in despair. Houses were blocked, and children were in poor conditions.
"Who is the village chief here? I am Shadow, an A-Rank mercenary and the gang leader of the Conqueror Gang."
The villagers looked at Shadow dully, but they still brought him to the village chief residence. When they got there, they saw naked maids walking about; their expression was that they had all lost hope, but one of the kids suddenly grabbed Shadow's sleeve and whispered something to him.
Hearing what the kid shared, Shadow pats his head, then tells Scarlet and Mira to guard the kid. Shadow then jumps into the village chief residence and punches a hole in it.
"Bastard, come out or I will drag you out." Shadow then shouted at the mansion.
"Who is the asshole that was shouting? Do you know that I am Sot, one of the captains of the Shadow Fang Bandits who dared to be presumptuous enough to challenge me? Do you know that our leader had broken through the fabled Xiantian Realm?" A savage looking person came out of the mansion. Shadow suddenly dove down and grabbed the person's head and smashed his head.
After killing Sot Shadow, have everyone gather at the village centre and say, "I have killed Sot. The other bandits should be coming here, so I will teleport you to my town, but all of you must be obedient, understand?"
All the villagers started crying for them to leave here, which was a great blessing in itself. When Shadow started teleporting them back, he also decided to return to Eligan Town, so he brought the girls with him.
After arriving at the rendezvous point, Shadow called a soldier and told them to call Shelia over.
When Shelia arrived and saw the condition of the villagers, she was saddened but still stayed strong. This is a world of conquering, so the heart must stay strong.
"Shelia, to accommodate these people, I will be going to the military campground. Also, call Grandpa over."
Shadow then goes to the military campground, where he calls Lou Yan over.
Lou Yan arrived and saluted Shadow. Shadow nodded and ordered Lou Yan to prepare the soldiers; they will be conquering the Dragon City. Shadow decided on this when he heard Sot say that their leader had broken through the Xiantian realm. Now there are 3 Xiantian lords in Sunshine City: the city lord, the bandit leader of the strongest bandit gang, the Dragon Tamer Furros, and the new Xiantian lord Slade from Shadow Fang Bandit.
The situation there will surely be chaotic, so they can't send much help to Dragon City. The only problem is Flower City, so Shadow was planning on bringing nearly all of his trained soldiers into war. Also, with the conqueror gang being planted in the city, their success rate has increased exponentially, and the only person left is his grandfather.
His grandpa had achieved Xiantian Level. Now they have a person that can rival a city lord. When everyone arrived, Shadow stood before them and said, "I have gathered you all here because of one thing only: war. We are going to war with the Dragon City. Prepare yourselves!"
Shadow then nodded at the generals, telling them it was time for them to step up. They then delivered encouraging words to them. After that, Shadow led his army to march into Dragon City.
It seems that they found Shadow's army marching towards them and also released their army. The city lord family even released their pets into war.
"Grandpa and Thunder, I'll leave the city lord to both of you." Shadow then teleported into the Conqueror Gang headquarters.
He saw Dargon, and the rest of the members that swore loyalty to him were standing there. "Leader, I have gathered all the forces here. What is your order?"
"I want you to teleport all your family in here, then Shadow made a portal in the headquarters. I don't want to be implicated in this war." All of the members nodded repeatedly for them; it was what they really wanted.
"Okay, after that, join the war later. Also, go to your respective hometown and persuade your village chief or town chief to surrender. We also have Xiantian in our ranks; resistance is futile."
Shadow then got inside the portal and brought some of the TRANSCENDING GOLD LEVEL beasts with the Twin-Headed Poison Dragon, Thunder, Flames (Chaotic Flaming Two-Tailed Tiger), Trevo, and Hunter. He also brought his grandpa.
Shadow then led them towards the city lord mansion. He then promptly left.
Rey floats into the sky and initiates an attack towards the mansion. Some kind of forcefield blocks the attack, but it now has a huge hole.
"Who dares to attack my mansion?" A middle age looking man with scales and wings flies in front of Rey. He was the city lord of Dragon City. Craid Dragonty first scans Rey head to toe and realises that this man is also a Xiantian lord, albeit on a weaker side.
"Even though you achieved Xiantian Realm, you are too weak to face me." Craid looks at Rey smugly. He has a variety of aces up to his sleeve. A newly promoted Xiantian lord doesn't have a chance.
Rey did not waste words, directly drawing his sword and slashing it towards Craid.
"How dare you!" Craid tried to lead Rey out of the city. He knows if two Xiantian lords fought here, the damage inflicted on his city would be immense, but who would have thought that when he tried to fly towards another location, Rey attacked his mansion, thoroughly destroying the barrier.
Craid immediately stops and also attacks Rey; their battle causes massive destruction in the city. Unbeknownst to them, the conqueror gang members start helping the people and persuading them to pledge allegiance to Shadow.
The city lord's army and the nobles started attacking each other for supremacy. The city lord released all their pets, which were stopped by Shadow's beast subordinate. Also, his army was getting closer to the city.
Villages and towns also started disappearing from the territory of Dragon City; it was total chaos.
*Pwak* A soldier's head was cut off by a handsome-looking teen, then a city lord soldier, who kneeled before him and said, "Young master, please return to the mansion."
The teen nodded, indicating he understood, but before he moved, the soldier's head was decapitated by a sword, and a person was standing in front of him. The person said, "Nice to meet you again, Blaise Dragonty."
