Shadow then left Mira and Scarlet and only brought Vixen with him.
When they arrive where the Vicious Two-Tailed Tiger was last seen, they see tiger footprints, and Vixen seems to dislike the place because it is filled with tiger markings, meaning its pee.
Shadow then followed the tiger tracks, leading them into a cave. Shadow laughed at how arrogant the tiger is.
He and Vixen sneaked inside the cave; the deeper they got, the hotter the place got. After they arrived at the deepest part of the cave, they saw many red stalactites glowing in the centre, including a sleeping two-tailed tiger.
Shadow then scans it.

Shadow expression turned very serious. Now he knows why this tiger is arrogant; it has the strength to do so, and it was the total nemesis of a fire-type beast.
"Vixen, when I charge later, I want you to support me, but don't use any fire-type skills, okay?" Vixen nodded, expressing that she understood.
Shadow came closer to the tiger quietly, then took a stance. He was in total concentration. He was using the strongest Asura Sword Skill, the beheading god slash.
The aura that Shadow emits became very sharp and dangerous. The tiger immediately woke up when it sensed its impending doom, but Vixen quickly used [Advance Illusion] to put the tiger to sleep.
The tigers eyelid became very heavy. He was also very drowsy, but it still fought off its sleepiness because of the danger he felt earlier. It suddenly let out a loud roar.
When it was fully awakened, it saw Shadow looking at him with extreme focus. The tiger let out a roar and spoke, "You humans again, you always did this, waking up this king when the king still hasn't done anything to you yet."
It kept letting out frustration while shaking. This was the first time he felt the breath of death. He knows that if this human really attacks, it will die without a doubt.
Shadow suddenly stopped his stance, looked at the tiger solemnly, and said, "Did you not destroy a village just months ago?"
"Yeah, I did destroy a human village, but it was their fault. I was just minding my own business when suddenly one of the humans saw me and started hunting me, so I killed them. Over time, the number of humans hunting me grew until they sent an army, so I had no choice but to retaliate. That's why I was always searching for a place devoid of humans," the tiger explained.
Shadow kept nodding while listening and then looked at the tiger strangely and asked, "Why do you avoid humans? Are you not very strong?"
The tiger proudly raised its head and said, "Strong? Of course I was very strong. It was just a matter of principle before I was healed by a human girl, so I promised myself not to harm any humans that wouldn't harm me, so when the first hunters fought me, I only beat them. I did not kill any of them to think that they came back bringing more of them."
Shadow was stroking his chin and asked, "What about you sign a contract with my disciple? She is only a bronze level, and with that, you will be in a much superior position."
The tiger immediately refused; he does not want his master to be that weak. "Don't refuse that quickly. Here, have this." Shadow then throws him a Perfect Grade Beast Pill.
The tiger smelt it, then swallowed it, eventually nodding his head, but he still said, "I actually don't want to sign a contract with a human, but I did lose to you even though you didn't attack. I know my head will be decapitated, but I want my master to be strong and have a lot of potential."
While Shadow was deep in thought, he immediately remembered Annie Mander, the town chief of Salamander Village.
"I know a girl who fits your description perfectly. I will be teleporting you to my town. I want you to find a person there and ask them to lead you to a person named Annie Mander. She will be your new master."
The tiger nodded, then Shadow teleported him to Eligan Town. After that, he returned to Hom Village. When he got nearer the village, he saw Scarlet and Mira waving at him.
"Master, did you defeat the Vicious Two-Tailed Tiger?" Scarlet asks with worship in her eyes. Mira was also looking at him the same way.
"Yes, it is now in Eligan Town. I managed to subdue it, and I still have energy to spare. Let's go to the next mission, the hunt for the man-eating witch."
Shadow and the girls then travelled to Argon Village. They did not enter the village but directly went to the forest, where the man-eating witch is.
When they got there, they saw a floating red-hooded girl named Shadow. They then proceeded to scan it, but it did not show any information, leaving Shadow bewildered.
He then used his innate ability [Dragon Eye] to scan his surroundings. He then found a little beast hiding in the tree.
Shadow then scans the beast.

Shadow stroked his chin. He was thinking that this beast was literally the perfect partner for Mira.
"Mira, I think we found a very great partner for you." Shadow then pounced on the tree where the mink was. The red-hooded spirit warrior started to attack him but did no damage at all. He then captured the mink with his arm. He then brought the mink to Mira, letting her contract it. After contracting the beast, Shadow then led the girls to where the Shadow Fang Bandits were.
