CHAPTER 51 THUNDER VS TWIN HEADED DRAGON
When the Disease Hyenas came charging through the forest, Shadow Mediately had his team in formation while he let Glutton lead its pack and slaughter the enemies. Vixen dashed towards the horde, looking for the leader.
Shadow then draws Killer and slashes it into the incoming beast horde; at least 15 were killed in a single slash.
Shadow kept slashing while the piles of dead hyenas were getting bigger. Scarlet and Mira were also great. The disease hyenas were mostly bronze level and normal grade, so they could still perform splendidly even though the numbers of hyenas were huge.
Some of the hyenas broke through the first line of defence, but many of them were killed by Shadow and Glutton's wolf pack. The number of people they killed was more than a hundred in just a couple of minutes.
The mercenaries also made a second line of defence just outside of the town; they were mostly made up of silver level, while some gold level and bronze level were positioning above the city wall, readying their crossbows. The gate was also sealed shut.
When some hyenas came, they were quickly killed by the bronze level in the town's wall.
They killed until the ground was littered with corpses.
In Shadow and his team situation, the number of hyenas that lay on the grounds was hundreds.
Shadow was like a grim reaper; every slash meant death to at least 10 hyenas. He was flashing through the battlefield, sometimes helping Scarlet and Mira.
Glutton and his pack were also killing machines, and even though Glutton seldom interfered, the killing efficiency of the wolf pack was greatly enhanced.
After an hour, there were at least 800 hyenas killed by Shadow's team alone. Vixen also killed the Disease Hyena Queen. It took a whole day to kill all the disease hyenas, so Shadow was forced to order Thunder to use [Heavenly Calamity] to kill all the remaining hyena.
Shadow then teleported Glutton and his packs back to Eligan Town; their training had already ended. They then returned to Florges Town. Shadow then told Scarlet and Mira to relax for a week and buy anything they wanted.
After relaxing for a week, Shadow then rode Thunder into Fellis Town. He wants to capture the Twin-Headed Dragon, subdue it, and then bring it into Eligan Town.
When they arrived there, they were welcomed by the townspeople and the town chief. It seems that the twin-headed dragon made them scared, and Shadow was their greatest hope.
After asking the Twin Headed Dragon whereabouts, Shadow and the girls did not waste any more time and immediately went where the Twin Headed Dragon was.
When they got there, he saw a huge twin-headed dragon sleeping on a hill.
"Hey dragon, I have a proposition to you," the twin-headed dragon woke up from the shadow shout.
"Human, do you think you have any rights to talk to us?" the Twin Headed sneered, looking at Shadow with great disdain.
Shadow just let out a chuckle and snapped his finger. Thunder then dove down and hovered above Shadow.
"If I don't have any rights to talk to you, what about my partner right here? Does he have what it takes to talk to you?"
Thunder let out a snort, then looked at the twin-headed dragon with contempt.
The contempt in Thunder's eye greatly hurt the pride of the Twin Headed Dragon. It was used in using this look on others but was not in itself. It lets out a roar and flaps its wing, charging towards Thunder.
Thunder let out an evil chuckle and used its claw to grab the two heads, slamming them into the ground.
*Boom* There was a tremor that happened. The Twin-Headed Dragon was easily subdued by Thunder.
"You are really hot-tempered, aren't you? I told you I have a proposition for you. Are you willing to listen?"
The twin-headed dragon let out a snort and turned to look at Shadow.
"I want you to fight with Thunder at your fullest capabilities. If you win, we will never disturb you again, but if Thunder wins, you must follow us into a place and listen to my command. Is that clear?"
The Twin-Headed Dragon nodded. Even though it knew that it had little chance to win, it would still fight because it wanted to prove itself as a brave beast and wouldn't back down from any challenge.
The contempt in Thunder's eye disappeared. He nodded as a sign of respect.
"Okay, now please take your position." Thunder and the Twin-Headed Dragon fly into the sky. They position each other face-to-face at a distance of 10 metres.
"Fight!" After hearing the signal, the Twin Headed Dragon immediately used its supreme innate skill. Both of the heads took a deep breath and then released. At the same time, the right head breathed a stream of fire while the left head breathed a fog of poisonous gas. The two attacks combined, making a purple flame that shot towards Thunder.
Thunder activated [Thunder Lord Mode], making all of his body a pure thunder element. The attack hit Thunder, pushing him back for a couple of metres. The attack lasted for an hour. The Twin-Headed Dragon fell to the ground. It used all of its vital energy.
Shadow then nodded at Thunder, telling him to release its [Thunder Lord Form]. He then teleported Thunder and the Twin-Headed Dragon to Eligan Town.
After teleporting, Shadow brought the girls to Hom Village.
When they arrived there, the villagers brought them into the village chief residence. They were greeted by an old man with a long goatee.
"Greetings, great warriors. I am Andre Hom, the current village chief of Hom Village. I presume you came here to ask about the Vicious Two-Tailed Tiger."
"Yes, it is much appreciated for you to tell us its last sightings."
The village chief then relayed all the information that he knew about the Vicious Two-Tailed Tiger.
The situation is very serious for Shadow and his group.
