Chapter 12: Chapter 12:- The girl name..
Waiting for someone is one of the greatest moment for some and some it's worse. For me it is good, the book that I have is somewhat helping me pass the time but the silence is making the time move even more slower. After reading for few moments I always looked at the entrance for her to saw up but there is no sign of her. Well today, my interest is been seized by the book which tells us about the universe. It's quite interesting to see how far technology has advanced that we can actually see the stars up close with our nacked eyes. The book tells about the Hubble telescope that was launched to the low earth orbit in 1990 and how it's still helping the wonderers of sky to understand the space. I remember when my father told us about akash ganga, which today is known as milky way, the constilations, the moon, the sea and all that is there in this universe and how can one be a part of it because everything in this earth belongs to the universe and the universe belongs to us. As I was thinking about all of this my eyes got distracted towards the doors of the library. Yet, there was no sign of her. I sighed and stood up to keep the book back to the shelf. As I turned back I once again bumped into someone.
"Ouch.." she held her head as my head bumped hers, "..are you blind or..."
She looked up, "...hey"
"I am really sorry." I grabbed my book and wanted to escape without even looking at her. As I passed her, she held my hand and pulled me. Due to my momentum, my body turned and collided with her's. She fall back and I grabbed her from her waist. It was those beautiful black eyes with small pink lips. Her eyes captivated me. Her arms were at the table to support her body and mine on her waist. Her body clinged to mine with my heart rustling inside. She slowly placed her hand in my chest and pushed me back. I left her and turned my head towards the other side and said, " I really apologize for all of this. I didn't do this on purpose."
She giggled as she heard me. "Relax, Ashu I know you didn't do that on purpose."
" I am really sorry though."
" it's ok " she grabbed my arms in her arms and we started walking towards the shelf. "So, what are you reading today ?"
"Nothing much."
She took the book from my hand, "you seem to be more interested in space science I guess. "
"I guess so."
"So what do you do Ashu ?"
"Nothing much, I just come here and try to gather as much knowledge as possible about this world."
"Are you professor or advocate ?"
"Neither."
"So ?"
"I do nothing."
"Still searching for job ?"
"No."
"Then ?"
"I guess I am just figuring out what can I do in this world."
"You can do anything that you want. Just take your time and decide ok."
We came to the novel section which had lots of books with romantic content.
"I will be taking that." she drew a book from the shelf and held it while leaving my hand. We started walking back to the reading area. As we started walking she noticed that I still had the book that I was going to keep back.
"You were going to keep that book didn't you ?"
"Oh, ya I totally forgot about that. I will be back."
I rushed to the Sci-fi section and kept the book in the shelf. As I came back to the table I saw that she was sitting on the chair and her eyes where lost in the book. I went to her and sat beside her.
"Have you ever read this book ?"
"No."
"Ok then we can read together."
She pushed the book in between us and brought her chair close to mine. Her hairs where almost touching my face. and I could see her beautiful check. Her presence was so much distracting for me that I could barely concentrate in the book. As I was admiring her beauty I remembered that I didn't got her name for the first time, so I asked. "I sorry, but I didn't got your name the first time. What is your name ?"
"It's Payal agnihotri "
"Payal, that's a nice name that you got."
"Hush, don't break the discipline of the library and keep quiet."
"Ok."
I thought, for that long it was you who was being chatty and now I was breaking the rule. As we were reading the book together my eyes was constantly looking her face and as she looked me I looked back in the book like a guilty little boy. She smiled at me as I looked away from her and came near my ears and said. "There's nothing wrong in admiring the beauty."
"I...I don't ....know what...are you talking about."
She pinched my check and said, "Your red blushing face is telling everything that you are thinking."
"I....I...."
"Ok ok just don't tell anything and let's concentrate in the story, shall we ?"
I started looking at the book without reacting to her. She smiled and started to reading once again.

As we went out of the library Payal asked,"Would you like to eat something ?"
"No. I have to be somewhere."
"Ok then, see you tomorrow I guess."
"Ok."
"Bye Ashu." she waved her hand.
"Bye."
"And don't miss me."
I looked at her and she started laughing at me. I looked away from her and started walking. As I crossed the road, I saw her entering the restaurant that was there beside the library.

"Hello Nani, how are you today ?"
"I have seen better days."
She was injected with saline, " Are you not feeling ok ?"
" How can one be ok while eating the hospital food. I have told your mother repeatedly that please grant me permission to eat pizza but she never listens to me."
"That's it Nani, I can bring it for you tomorrow."
"Ooh, Ashu my dear love. You are such a gentleman. When I will be out of here and we both will go in a date everyone will jealous to see us."
"You said it Nani." and we both bumped our knuckles.
"Mam you know the rules I can't allow you to do something like that." said my mother. "and please eat your meal it's time for your medicine."
" I will eat after my granddaughter comes here."
"Ok mam." said my mother " Ashu come on let's go."
I blinked my eye to Nani and said, " She you soon Nani.". She smiled at me and waved her hand. I started walking behind my mother and walked out of the room.
" My work here is done for today Ashu we will be going home now."
"Ok, mom."
I followed her to her cabin were she took everything she had and we both left the hospital.
As we were crossing the library I remembered that I still had the handkerchief of Payal in my pocket. I pulled grabbed the handkerchief out of my pocket. I could still remember her smell from earlier. I took a deep breath and was looking forward to meet her tomorrow.
