Chapter 7: Chapter 7: be Headmaster
Argent who just read the report asking "So you're saying that the barrier lifespan shortened?" Joan nodded.
It's become accustomed all barriers checked and maintained before new term starts. Some barrier have quite complicated mechanism that been need to be carefully inspected so not every inspection and maintenance finished at the same.
There is few different type of barrier in Dragolean Academy. Protection barrier on each building that only be used when needed and huge protection barrier that cover whole academy that been actively used from time to time. There also recourses protection barrier and some treasure protection barrier.
Another type of barrier is prison barrier that to keep certain creatures that have harm others or for certain reasons but this type of prisons is very rare in academy. Prison barrier only been installed at certain place to provide suitable environment in the eyes of formation or to serve some mechanism. This type of barrier always takes time to fully checked.
"Since Professor Quinn is technically no longer here, we need to consider another alternative, that's why we need your opinions, well you should have known another way or others who we can call to fix this barrier problem " Joan explained.
"Alright I wrote a letter here to invite that old fellow, just tell him i left this latter in advanced in case academy really desperately in need, if u say so I think he definitely come as fast as possible" Argent say while smirking.
'This seems easy to solve problems if given to others, it's actually hard task. In this Academy only him can solve this problem like this, if he is Professor Quinn before he just go and fix it by his own, however luckily he is still here.' Joan thought.
Joan already been by Professor Quinn for more than half his life. He know Professor Quinn already done many for this academy. Even the academy is his family belonging but to be headmaster's he sacrificed many so he very respect Professor Quinn from deep of his heart.
"Oh ya, there is little bit weird this year, 27 new students didn't register yet. Usually only less than 6 case every new intake. Did we need to contact them to make sure everything alright?" Joan highlighted some other issues that catch his attention.
"That's right, immediately contact their family if they wanna drop ask for reasons since we asking them, but i think this is a bit fishy, we need to investigate this." Argent supporting.
"Joan, why don't you just become headmaster? I think now supposedly your turn to be Headmaster of this academy" Argent voice his opinion.
"Impossible Professor i still need to learn many" Joan reply hurried and shocked." I prefer to be like this, Professor please"
"Just think it through first, with my condition now a bit difficult to maintain this Headmaster position, rather wait for others take action better we make fast action." Argent said.
"Some more if you be headmaster now, in future this Argent or my real son will have another chance to be headmaster again." Explain Argent again.
They discussing on few more issues that night and Argent spend his night at office while Emily and Joan going to their own living places.
Behind the headmaster's office there is a secret passageways that connected with the headmaster's house but he didn't feel like go back home so just stay at the office.
He lay on Huge L-shape trying to take a nap and meditate before then. He try to connect with many elements that he can detect, out of habit he delve into his old element water, surprisingly there so many water elements that make he feel like he can swim, all feel very refreshing.
When Argent feel like in the ocean he attracted by yellowing earth element blinking like firefly around, Argent touch it and gather the elements near make it feel as island in the middle of ocean. As time goes ocean and island slowly getting bigger and bigger.
Then the greenish lights appear and after many others elements gathered and Argent lost track of time while basking with all elements he can touch and controlled.
If other see him in meditating now they can see his whole body glowing as the same color as the crystal stone he and his new friend found before.
The same phenomena happened with all his friends while they in deep sleep.
When morning come, Argent go jogging and then went back to his students living quarters.
