Chapter 4: Chapter Four (Truth Or Dare)
Somehow I forgot to set my Alarm in ended up over sleeping. It was 8:45 A.M when I woke up.
By that time the bus was long gone and my mom was just getting in from work. So, I refrained from bothering her I know she was tired and the last option was the city line bus.
As I got dressed I texted Amelia to see where she was. and she had another doctors' appointment, I texted her that I'll see her later.
"Hey John" Are you okay? You can take today off from school if you need to. My mom said.
"Hey Mom" Yes I'm fine why'd you ask? I just over slept. And okay I can really catch up on some rest.
"Okay baby. But if you need to talk just come to me".
"ummm I said very weirdly, okay mom I'm fine though, I'm going to head upstairs and get some rest. I'll see you when I wake up."
I sprinted upstairs still wondering how awkward our conversation was. My mom was very supportive, we talked a lot but this was kind of one of those talks that we had when dad was dying so that's why it seemed weird I just hope my mom was okay. After doing a little overthinking I dressed back into my Pajamas and drifted to sleep. When I woke up Amelia was at the bottom of my bed sleeping, I let her sleep until I got out the shower.
After I was done showering I put on my sweatpants while letting my bare chest breathe. By this time my mom had pulled her late night routine she was at work from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. so Amelia and I were alone.
"Hey Rain bush wake up" she hated that name but I didn't care. I loved that smile.
"Why?"
"Because I want to spend some time with you" I yelled in a friendly tone
"Okay let's play truth or Dare, order pizza and watch Netflix movies. It's the weekend, so I'll stay over".
That didn't sound bad at all, I enjoyed every moment I spent with Amelia. Truthfully we were both in love with one another. We admitted it sometimes, but we also loved our bond as best friends too.
"Ok" I replied as I escaped from my thoughts then entered reality. We played truth or dare until the pizza man arrived. He said it was going to be at least 15 to 25 minutes because it was raining and I assured him that it was okay and to take his time.
"Truth or dare Amelia"
"Truth" she Yelled in a sarcastically playful tone
"Is it true that you love me" I asked
"What kind of question is that John everybody knows I love you, so yes its true"
"Truth or dare John" Amelia asked
"Dare" I yelled
"I dare you to kiss me" Amelia said
It wasn't really a shocking moment because Amelia and I kissed plenty of times we even came close to making love one day our sophomore year but I told her we should wait until our senior year, and she agreed. A couple seconds later we were making out forgetting all about the game. Every kiss was so passionate every minute of being with Amelia was passionate I just wanted her to know that I loved her no matter what. So, between each kiss I whispered I love you.
"John, I think I'm ready now, we are seniors now" Amelia said in a soft tone.
Are you sure Amelia?
"Yes John just take it slow and be patient"
I kissed her body down to her navel down to her legs slowly making my way back up to her face. I felt her tongue against my tongue seeing the way her body responded to my touch was all I could think about. I slipped off her shirt still asking her are you sure she assured me that she wanted nothing more than to make love with me. her body was perfect it was so fascinating she then pulled at my sweatpants letting me know that she was ready. As I took off my pants I began kissing her neck, laying her down letting her know that it was going to be okay. It was so magical it was what I imagined it would be, and we began to make love.
After we got done she jumped in the shower minutes later the doorbell rang. The pizza man had arrived, and I was waiting for Amelia to get out the shower, so we could eat and watch a Netflix movie called Paper Towns. It was a movie by John Green he was one of Amelia's favorite Authors. For some odd reason Amelia loved my clothes more than she loved her own since we were babies, she put on one of my shirts which was extremely huge on her. I started going to the gym after freshman year, so I was a muscular guy.
As we watched the movie we both found ourselves crying at the end because it didn't end the way that we wanted it to. We sat in the dark and talk for a bit then drifted off to sleep.
