Chapter 17: Chapter 17: Arrogant Alex
The dark seemed to swallow the light of the sun. It was already night. He did not notice the time as it passes by.
He finished the pile of papers on his table. This day must be a tough day for him.
After while, he call the attention of Mike, his personal driver.
"We're going home." And he sighed.
There is a lot of things that keeps bothering him. And this will not resolve in just one sitting at a time.
The moment the car entered the vicinity of his residence. His attention was immediately called by Denise. She's on the garden. Sitting on the bench and caressing the flowers while touching them.
She looks so naive yet she smile with modest.
"Young Master, this young lady is such a gorgeous one." Mike praised Denise as he glanced at her while driving. He just wanted to praise Alex that she picked a perfect one.
" Mind your driving, Mike." Deep inside he's flattered.
He entered the house immediately and went to the bathroom to freshen up himself.
After taking a bath. He opened the window and directly looking at the garden. The moon is so bright and the wind blows with freezing breath.
"Ohh!" She suddenly reacted from the cold touch of the wind as it blows in her direction.
She roamed around her eyes. The Mansion is a three-storey building and it's land area comprise of 5 hectares. Not bad for a single family living in this residence.
The garden sytle is inspired by the Greece's. Everything is perfectly designed.The selection of plants is matched to the themes of the design of the Mansion.
Though, the Mansion indeed is big but with empty happiness in every corner.
Her stomach crumble s.
"Well, I'm a little bit hungry." She explained to herself as if someone's asking her.
She didn't ate her breakfast and lunch. That is one of her rebellious act or rage towards Alex.
She's nagging the flowers. Indirectly telling her anger to Alex through these lovely flowers. Scolding them one by one.
What a childish act!
"Hoooo! You! You're such a pervert one. You kissed me. You did such things to me while I am in mental state." She's actually pointing the flower in front of her. She's just like crazy talking.
Could this be the effect of those drugs?
Someone's listening to her words. Every words her mouth uttered.
She heard someone's intentional cough.
"Are you done?" A cold voice from her back.
"A-Alex?" She fake her smile.
"Oh, you're here." She's shocked but why will she feel embarrassed after all what she's saying is true.
He did not say any words but sat down beside her.
No words came up.
No mouths being open.
Only silence can be heards from the two.
Suddenly, there is memory flashed in her mind. The memory of how this man beside her do such unacceptable things to her.
Could it be unacceptable of the claimed that they are married?
"Ahem! Did you just say before that we are married?" And she raised her eyebrows.
"Yes."
"As far as I remember and not mistaken, married couples are supposedly lovers before. Are we lovers? I don't even know who you are." With a sarcastic tone. At least she's becoming more bold than before. Where did she learn that personality?
"Not all married couples required love in their union. Just a mutual benefit is enough." He answered her practically. Well that's what we call practical and direct.
"If that so? Just right now I am filing divorce. Show me the marriage certificate for me to validate your illusion."
"I told you. You can only leave this house if you can pay me back." He stood up and walked away.
Denise glanced at his back. This young arrogant man is really making her sick.
