Chapter 4: Is This a dream?
When Zkun woke up he immediately showered and got dressed today was a Sunday so he could do whatever he wanted for the day.
He dressed up casually in some jeans and a t shirt, he had planned to take a walk next to one of the parks nearby.
On the way there he saw an old woman he felt like he had seen her before when he took a closer look he realized that that was the women that he met on the street last time he went out.
Upon seeing him the old woman said," hey kid come here I need to speak to you about something."
At first Zkun was suspicious but then he thought to himself "she's probably gonna ask me what I was doing last time."
She led him into a bit of a run down shack it looked shabby and old.
They went inside he could say that there was a wooden bed a mattress on top a table with some tea cups and a tea pot on top.
Zkun thought that this was a pretty miserable building he felt a bit sorry for the old woman who was very kind to people.
She told him to open his palms and dropped what look like a pill.
But instead of being normal it shone a bright blue color like the sky.
She told him to swallow the pill in 3 days time under the full moon's light it will help you unlock your full potential.
Zkun didn't understand what she meant by unlocking his full potential he was about to ask just then he felt like all the oxygen in his lungs were being rid from his body....
The next second he found himself in his bed shaking with sweat.Sweat was running down his backside.
He didn't understand what was happening he thought it was a dream just then, he felt in his pocket something that wasn't there last night.He took a pill out, not just any pill, this pill was shining a blue light.
He was certain that it was just a dream at first but after he saw the pill in his pocket he started to have doubts.He thought that he was going mad.
He decided to go and have a look at that hut that old woman led him to.
As he followed the exact road to the old hut he saw the schools basket ball team going out for their usual jog.
They all stared at him as they ran across the street for their daily 5 kilometer run.
These people were accepted into the team for preserving.
Zkun who thought nothing of this went to to old hut or where it was at least for whe he had arrived there was no such hut there.
He was confused of course for their was an apartment where the hut was he asked a couple of people and they just thought that he was joking around.
They didn't really take this kid seriously a couple walked by Zkun and was staring at him , the girl thought that he was quite handsome.
He had thought nothing of them there was only one thought on his mind what was happening.........
At this moment in an abandoned church a man was burning with rage.
There were thugs there, just yesterday they had robbed his only home he ever had, the orphanage.
They were laughing about how pathetic that place was talking to one another about how many people they killed.
In an instant where lightning flashed, a man that was wearing a cloak appeared in front of the window.
The lightning illuminated his face showing a scar on his left eye.
He came here with one intention to seek revenge on the thugs.
Gun shots could be heard from a mile away , in an instant the thugs dropped dead one by one.
There was one thug left hiding behind a chest he was breathing very hard *huff * huff," just who was this punk coming here and killing us.
Just as he was peeking out he saw a face and that scar jumped out at him.
"Where is she?"
"I...I.don't know please don't kill me."
One last bullet was fired from his gun that night.
This man came by the name of Granger or some people know him as "The Death Chanter."
