Chapter 3: Rosinante
On my second flight of the day viva Rosinante Air, I finished my plans. I wont return myself this time. Doflamingo will mostlikely send Rosinante to come get me and then we can have a talk. I ended up landing at the edge of the junkyard and stayed down this time. All I have to do is wait.

My crew. I want a few people from this ocean. Law and Raiju. Law is a great Doctor, With Reiju... poison wont be a problem. Ive got no clue how to get to her... I'll figure it out later. I've got to be on the look out for Robin too.

I need a ship as well... I'd like to save Rosinante if I can but I have no clue what that would do to Canon... Oh, someones coming.

Dingo: Are you alive kid?

I shrugged while on the ground. I've got no clue what's going to happen now.

Dingo: From what I've seen, you cant answer any question "Positively" when you have the cuffs on. Without the cuffs, you can speak freely but only for the breath in your lungs. Once it's out, you start to suffocate unless the cuff is returned. I dont know if it's due to your Devil Fruits fighting inside but that's fine. You want to be taken care of by Corizon?

HOLY FUCK THATS CONVENIENT FOR ME!! Misunderstandings are great. Let's follow these rules for now. I shrug as a response to him. I shake my cuffs at him. He takes the keys out and unlocks my cuffs.

I toss my cuffs in the air again and again. I quickly answer him between tosses.

Nova: Correct. Want to. Get stronger. He best. Chance. Can I. Get ring. Of this? Talking hurts. What is. Haki?

After listening to my jumbled speaking, he responded.

Dingo: Yes, I will get you a ring of Sea Prism Stone. Haki is not something you can learn yet. Train your body and once you can hold out as you fight Pica, You will be taught Haki.

I nod and then put the cuffs back on my left arm. I slowly walk back to the base with Doflamingo behind me. Im in no way shape or form ok with this. We walked back in silence. Once I made it inside, everyone was gone except for Rosinante. He looks pissed... theres a big wet mark on his pants.

Dingo: Rosinante, I cant leave him to anyone other then you. I know you dont like kids but he is insistent on you being his mentor. He wants to get stronger so train him however you see fit. Train him well.

I cross my arms and grin at Rosinante. He looks at me and pulls out a piece of paper. He writes on it and shows it to us...

"His face pisses me off. I understand Diamonte now."
.
I shrug and look around as I yawn. I walked to Rosinante and rubbed my eyes. He picked my up from the back of my shirt and walked me to a room. Baby 5, Buffalo, and Someone else were sleeping in beds. Rosinante threw me at a bed and without thinking, my body corrected itself midair. I landed softly on the bed much to both our surprise. I took off my shirt and threw it at Rosinante's face. That shirt has been threw hell today. 2 junkyard crashes, abduction, and a fart that could dry paint in seconds. Needless to say, it stinks. Before he could remove the dirty shirt from his face, my head hit the pillow and I was out.

Rosinante POV

This isnt good. My brother recruited another kid even though I've tried driving them all away. For now, he has 3 but with Nova... its 4. what's worse is that Nova is too useful. He can gain information on anything he touches. He could expose me in a second. I've thrown him out twice but hes returned like he already belonged here. The only plus side is that hes picked me as his mentor...

The kid yawned and rubbed his eyes. I picked him up and brought him to the kids room. I threw him to an open bed and somehow... his body naturally recovered in air. He landed on the bed as quietly as a mouse. From his face, he was as surprised as I am. He shrugged and started taking off his shirt. He then threw that Bio-Weapon at my face. I couldnt react in time and took the blow perfectly on the nose. This think stunk to hell and back twice over.

I removed it as fast as possible and was ready to give this kid a beat down... HE WAS ASLEEP ALREADY!! SO FAST?!

I cant understand this kid. His earlier explanation of his fruits says hes got the Calm Calm Fruit... but that's impossible as that's my Devil Fruit. There can only be one copy of the fruit in use at the same time. Maybe that's why hes body is so messed up... anyway, I need to get this kid away from Doflamingo as soon as possible.

Nova POV

I woke up feeling like a million beli. This might be the first time I've slept of my own will in this life. If I'm going to become strong in this world, I'm going to need a body that can match up with the unbelievable people who live in it. Let's begin my raise to power...

I'm hungry. I'll begin my rise to power after I eat. You cant build a powerful body without fuel...

I need a bath. I stink. I see a door off to the side and what looks like a closet. After opening the closet, I found clean towels and bathrobes. I grab a purple bathrobe and purple towel. I officially pick Purple to be my color. I enter the door and inside is a bathroom, a mirror, and a 14 year old Monet as clothed as the second she was born. I didnt know this was a romantic comedy anime...

Ok Nova, you are prepared for every contingency. This will not defeat you in your quest to bathe. You know that she cant have her fruit yet... its sitting in your (Storage). She cant kill you in 1 shot so theres only one choice to do...

I gave her a thumbs up then walked in and started undressing to take a bath. Once my undies came off, she snapped out of it and screeched like a Banshee as she covered up and ran out. I took my time with my much needed bath. After I finished, I wrapped my bottom with my towel then I put my bathrobe on. When I walked out, Baby 5, Monet, and Rosinante were standing in the room. Baby 5 turned her hand into a gun and Monet was standing behind Rosinante with her face Crimson. She was still screaming her head off and Rosinante was just watching me. He pulled a board out and wrote on it.

Rosinante: "Any last words?"
.
I take his board and clean it on his pants. He swings at me but I dodged without looking. He tripped somehow and I started writing.

Nova: "Door wasnt locked, didnt know she was in there, she saw me naked too so we're even in my book..."
.
After he got up, Rosinante raised his eye and looked at Monet.
.
Monet: How should I know that there was a new member? Buffalo sleeps till noon... its barely 8!! He stripped infront of me!! I didnt try to see him naked!!

Rosinante took his board back and wrote... :He wont do it again. Remember to lock the door next time. Nova, Follow me.
.
Before I followed, I took off my cuffs and tossed them in the air so I can talk.

Nova: Pretty Girl.
.
I turned around and followed Rosinante outside. He then looks at me and writes... :You can talk?
.
I shrug at him and continue to follow. We return to the food room and eat breakfast. Rosinante then tries to light a cigarette but I stop him by grabbing it out of his hand and crushing it. He looks at me and I shake my head. I point to my nose and then continue eating. Once we are done, he takes me outside and tells me to do laps. I've got to run laps around the island as a warm up.

I ignore him for now and go get my 2 pipes that I was hitting garbage with. I held them in both hands and returned to Rosinante. I'm holding the pipes in a back handed grip and take a starting position for my run.

Rosinante claps loudly and I'm off. I hit garbage as I run and get use to the weight of 2 pipes in my hands.

Rosinante POV
.
This kid is hard working. I watched him pick up 2 pipes and held on to them as he ran. I thought it might be for fun but as he runs at a steady pace, I hear him hitting trash with the pipes. Maybe he wants to learn swordsmanship? Hes so young, I need to get him away from my brother. He would be way to dangerous to leave with my brother.

What the hell... this kid has continued running for hours. He hasnt stopped running or hitting trash all day. Isnt he tired? I'll stop him the next time he passes me.

He stops infront of me and just drops to the floor gasping. He is face down huffing and gasping so I bend down to pick him up and take him to the base when he scares the living crap out of me...

Nova: Use your Fruit Marine Commander Rosinante.
.
My blood ran cold. He knows I'm a Marine. He knows my Devil Fruit. He even knows my Marine rank.
.
Rosinante: Silence.
.
I snap my fingers and use my Calm Calm Fruit to make an invisible wall that blocks all sounds.
.
Nova: Dont talk, it's not safe. I need you to take me away from this island for a short time. I can explain myself later. Know this though... My name is Silvers D. Nova and I am Doflamingo's Enemy. Please cast Calm on me. Tell your brother that my DF powers seem to be running wild and I cant make noise anymore.

What the hell is happening? This kid is a carrier of the will of "D"?! His last name is Silvers?! As in... Dark King Rayleigh? Nova gets up and I notice that hes no longer panting. He then let's go of one of his pipes and uses the other like a walking stick. He slowly walks back to the hide out leaving me to think. I catch up a short moment later and cast Calm on him. He can hear us but no noise is made by him.

We enter the base and I clap my hands to get everyones attention. I write on paper that something's wrong with the kid.

Nova POV
.
Ok off to a good start. Rosinante is trying to get permission to take me away to see if we can find a doctor to suppress my "Calm Calm" Fruit so my more useful "Info Info" Fruit can be used. Dingo isnt happy that my fruits going out of whack. He pulls up a Snail that looks like him and calls someone. Ofcourse, I'm right next to the snail with stars in my eyes watching it talk. I'm even hitting the table with my fist as I laugh but no sound was made. The 3 younger members were looking at me in fascination as I was making a huge mess but no sound was being made.

Dingo: Caesar, it's me. Are you still on Punk Hazard?

Caesar: Oh Joker... Yes I am. My latest Smile formula is showing promise.
.
Dingo: Ok, I'm sending Corizon and 2 kids your way. One of the kids have 2 Devil Fruits in his body. They are conflicting so I want you to find a way to suppress one on command.
.
Caesar: He has 2 genuine Devil Fruit powers?! That's impossible.
.
Dingo: Its confirmed by me. I dont know the details... have you ever heard of "Project Nova"?
.
Caesar: Nova? No I havent. Is that one of Vegapunks? That bastard figured out a way to have 2 Devil Fruits coexist in 1 host!? Damn him!! Bring me the child and I'll figure out how he did it. Even if it kills the kid, ill find the way!!

Dingo: No. You must NOT kill the kid, hes too valuable. If you can get the Devil Fruits under control, That would be the best outcome. If you cant, suppress the Calm Calm Fruit within him.

Caesar: Understood Joker. But... why not just use Sea Prism Stone to stop the Devil Fruits?
.
Dingo: He already has cuffs on but the powers are still active.
.
Caesar: I await their arrival. Maybe refined Sea Pri.... (Hang up)

Oh crap... I cant go to the New World yet!! I'm about as dangerous as a fart to those pirates on the final sea. My crew isnt gathered... Law hasnt shown up yet... I need to go save Raiju as she saves Sanji...

Wait... 2 kids? Who else is coming? I look at Dingo and hold up 2 fingers with a confused look.

Dingo: Corizon will sail the boat so someone needs to keep an eye on you. You will be on a normal looking ship sailing threw the calm belt straight to an island that is covered in poison. Monet will keep an eye on you. If more then 1 of my executives are on a small ship and it gets attacked... It will be too big a lose. You said you wanted to be strong? Heres your first mission. Survive the Calm belt, keep Monet alive, Return here with your powers in check and dont get found out my the Marines. If you manage this, I'll PERSONALLY teach you all the Haki you can learn.

Personally tought by Dingo... yeah fuck that. I'm out the second we are far enough. I doubt Rosinante will go to Caesar with me. The trouble is... Monet. Will she follow me or stay loyal to Doflamingo like in the Anime? She hasnt been with the family long so... maybe? If I show her how little Dingo cares if she lives or dies... hopefully her brainwashing isnt that far along.

The next day, I was given new clothes for my trip. Black shorts, A purple tee shirt, and a grey beanie. I put on the purple bathrobe I had on yesterday as well. I kinda like how it feels. It flaps in the wind like a cape if I dont tie it closed. I took the lace part of the bathrobe and tied it around my stomach a few times to make a makeshift belly band to hold my pipes like they were swords. They gave me shoes but I threw them away. I found flip flops so I put those on. My Bathroom Samurai look is complete.

Monet: You look dumb. Do you think your a Swordsman or something? Those arnt even swords... A Pipesman? A Bathrobe Pipesman who cant make noise... You look dumb AND your a weirdo.
.
Ah... never mind, She can die for all I care. My badass new look has been mocked. Curse you girl.
.
Rosinante took 1 look at me and started laughing with tears pouring from his face. Everyone started laughing when they looked at me. Even Dingo turned away for a second before he walked us to the boat. We set sail with Rosinante still laughing at me and pointing. Monet was watching him laugh and joined in too. I kept my face still... but it felt like it was on fire.

I will get my revenge... mark my words...
