Jace and Aileen were already on the act of leaving since the other party was already done watching her favorite drama, but then before they could completely depart for good, the mortal girl suddenly grabbed a hold on the side part of Jace's trench coat to stop him on his track.

"Wait up. Let us catch this news break first."

She said before turning her attention back on the television again.

Her hand was still left clinging at Jace's coat but her full attention was already on the news report.

Jace on the other hand had his eyes fixated on the small hand holding his coat. He was caught between removing Aileen's hand by himself or just letting her have it her way. In the end, he chose to no longer mind her and just waited for her to finished what she wanted to watch on the TV.
