White Lie
A few hours later after Xin became a friend of Otohime's children, King Neptune came to check on his children.
He is amazed seeing Xin happy talking to his four children, they look happy talking to each other while his daughter laughs from time to time.
He doesn't know what happened but he feels that his children become close friend with this kid, even his wife looks fascinated listening to them.
He silently walks inside and asks," So are you kids having a good time here, why did you not call me?"
"Father!," Ther Four kids ran and jumped to their father happily telling him what they heard from Xin.
"Father, Xin said that there's a gigantic dragon living on the island somewhere in the new world, is that true?" A Blue Haired shark mermaid excited said.
"And also, the outside has a bunch of instruments like Guitar, so-fa-mi-re-do~" Oarfish merman kid said with strange muscle on his words.
"Whamboo~~ Father, Father, I want to go to the surface and see what a concert is!!" Opah merman kid said while dancing all around.
"Is it true that the outside world is much different than here father?" The only daughter on the ground said with a baby-like voice.
They are the children of Queen Otohiem and King Neptune, they are:
Fukaboshi is a shark merman and the eldest son of the royal Neptune Family on Fish-Man Island.
Ryuboshi is an oarfish merman and the second son of the royal Neptune Family on Fish-Man Island.
Manboshi is an opah merman and the third son of the royal Neptune Family on Fish-Man Island.
And Princess Shirahoshi, known as the Mermaid Princess, is a giant smelt-whiting mermaid and the youngest of King Neptune's children.
"W-Well," now King Neptune doesn't know how to answer all his children's questions, much more to his daughter waiting for his confirmation.
After all, he never goes to the surface even once in his lifetime, all the information that he knows is based on the book that he read or from Otohime's lecture.
Seeing that his husband is having a hard time answering the children's question, Otohime helps him to escape and after that they continue listening to Xin's story.
"So you're the one who helps Fisher Tiger on Mary Geoise," King Neptune said.
"How did you know?" Xin suddenly stopped talking and asked him.
"When Fisher Tiger comeback last time he tell us what he did, and the most important part is the human who brave enough to make a large commotion on the Mary Geoise,"
"Are you sure? This is going to be serious if it's true," Otohime said.
"Are you not listening to the last time I talked with Hancock?" Xin asked.
"No? It's rude to listen there without any permission," Otohiem said.
"Well…. You are right," Xin said," As you can see, Hancock and her sister also comes from Mary Geoise at that time,"
"Y-You mean, Hancock is a slave from Mary Geoise?!" Otohime was shocked hearing what happened to Hancock.
She doesn't know how slave life is handled by the Nobles but she knows that they are pretty miserable. It is much better to be imprisoned in prison than becoming a slave of a noble.
"That's right, i save them on Mary Geoise with hundreds of other slave fro different race,"
Otohime and Neptune hurry stand in front of Xin and politely bow," On behalf of Fishman Island, we thank you for what you did for us,"
Xin hurriedly said," No, don't do that, you're a King and Queen!"
"No, we need to do this to show you our appreciation for what you did to my people," King Neptune said.
"That's right, at least we can show you our gratitude for what you did," Queen Otohiem said.
"What happened Father? Mother?" Shirahoshi asks while her brothers look curious at them.
"Are we doing this to show gratitude for helping our people to be free?" King Neptune said
"To be free?" Fukaboshi curiously asks.
"You can still understand what im talking but remember, Xin is a Hero of our Fishman Island, without his help, some of our people is still suffering on that palace,"
"Really? Xin is a Hero?!" Shirahoshi looked at Xin with shining eyes, she was so fascinated by the Hero that her mother was always talking to them.
She did not expect that their new friend is a Hero, a hero on their own Fishman Island, of course, Shirahoshi doesn't know the meaning of this world so he only understands what Hero is.
After talking and helping the kids to calm down from the excitement, Xin finally leaves with King Neptune.
"Do you know that your younger daughter is in trouble right now," Xin suddenly said.
"Why did you say that?" King Neptune doubted.
"I already talk to Queen Otohiem about this, so I will inform you too, someone already know what Shirahoshi is,"
"I can't understand you, can you elaborate it clearly?"
"Poseidon"
King Neptune's easy-going face suddenly becomes dreadfully serious, he looks at Xin and slowly asks," How did you know that?"
"If I'm not wrong there's a famous Fortune Teller in Fishman, you can say that I'm the advanced version of a fortune teller," Xin calmly said to him.
"Can you tell me what you know?"
"I know everything, I know that Shirahoshi accidentally used her power in front of your citizen, but you forgot something."
"Not all of them are clueless about Shirahoshi's ability, one of them discovers the origin of Shirahoshi's ability."
Neptune looks at Xin, he is pretty curious how Xin knows that thing despite how they try to cover IT up, but that is the most important thing.
The most important thing is who is that Fishman who knows the Shirahoshi secret and what Xin really wants on coming here.
