Chapter 9: 9. Joining a club (2)

"Damn you Jay! Tell me the truth, you...and Crystal,... are the two of you dating?"

When Jay heard Bren asked him the question, he almost spat on his face.

"Shit, you clearly misunderstood. It's not what you think it is. She only came to me and asked if I could join the literature club. I agreed and that is why she is happy."

Bren shot him a questioning look.

"And what about the hug?"

When Jay heard this, he thought of a way to explain it properly.

"Well, it's probably because she was surprised that someone finally agreed with her to join the club." Jay simply answered.

Bren was not a hundred percent convinced, but hearing the reason, he immediately understood it.

"Okay, I get it. But you are still one lucky guy. To think you had received a hug from her? I'm sure even Tyson will be fucked up. Hahaha", Bren grinned and they entered their room.

Jay decided to not speak more and went to his chair and attempted to sleep while waiting for their teacher.

Thankfully, Bren explained the earlier incident to their classmates and that caused the suspicions among the students to dissipate.

The class went on as usual, with no significant events at all.

Jay, after talking with his friends, went to the Literature club room. Bren wanted to follow him, but like him he also needs to attend his club meeting today. Too bad his plan of seeing some beauties failed.

The literature club room is located in the third floor of building 2 besides building 3 where the classrooms of first and second year students are. Aside from the Literature club room, the spacious library is also in the third floor of that building 2.

Jay met some students while going for the third floor, all he met are the seniors from the fourth year class. He learned a few days ago that the fourth year students have the most number, with five sections in all and around 30 students in section.

Finally, after his walk that feels like eternity, he arrived on the third floor. There are few students he saw, probably who will borrow books or whatsoever. As he continued walking, passing by the library, he noticed that the in front of the Literature club room, there are no students.

Maybe so that they will not be disturbed?

Standing in front of the door, it seems that there are no people inside, but he can hear voices.

Knock.

Knock.

The door opened, revealing a shy girl, Crystal. When Jay made eye contact with her, she immediately blushed, remembering what happened last morning.

"Uhm, thank you for coming, Jay. Please come in."

Jay can see that she really is a shy girl.

"Thanks, Crystal. No need to be shy though", Jay forced a smile, trying to be friendly.

Jay then entered the room while Crystal closed the door behind him slowly. Upon seeing what is in front of him, he immediately was frozen in place.

All the club members are ladies?!
