Chapter 3: 3. School (2)
Bren and Jay are sitting on the bleachers watching everyone that passed by while having their snacks. Bren can't helped but be curious of Jay looking tired all day.
"Hey, I haven't known you for a long time but, are you really a sleepyhead?" Bren calmly asked. On the first day of school just after everyone introduced themselves, Bren wanted to be friends with everyone. But who would have thought on the first day, he even saw his seatmate sleeping on his seat. And what's worse was that, it was during their second period. Thankfully, Bren managed wake Jay before the teacher noticed. That was the start of their first ever conversation and they became friends.
"I still remembered that time. But who would have thought it was not the first time I will see you like that?" Bren sighed while reminiscing that memory.
"Well, I actually have many chores to do at home so I can only have a good night rest during the weekends", Jay partially lied.
Bren sighed once again.
While both of them are drinking their colas, they saw a group of boys who are also first years passing by the basketball court in front of them.
"Fuck, isn't that the so-called most popular guy among the the first year students? Damn it, my cola suddenly became tasteless just by looking at him!" Bren suddenly blurted out while having a disgusted look on his face.
"Yeah, he is Tyson Montgomery, the son of the mayor here in Rubando. He sure is very popular and good-looking", Jay unhurriedly said.
When Bren heard Jay mentioned that Tyson is good-looking, he almost choked while drinking.
"Fuck. What good looking are you saying? He may look like that. But seeing him flirting with so many girls from the first year and even the second year girls, I can't help but feel disgusted towards him", Bren still maintained a disgusted look.
Jay agreed. That Tyson is in the Libra section, and just like what Bren said, he is very popular but flirts with lots of girls. What's worse was that, many girls are attracted to him for who knows why. Jay also had a bad impression of him. What's also worse was that Tyson always have his boys around him, almost like their bodyguards, constantly following him and being ordered like servants. Even Jay was disgusted to such things.
Both Bren and Jay saw Tyson approach a girl. When they saw that girl, Bren had his eyes wide open.
"Damn, it's Crystal. Fuck! That bastard, he even dared to flirt with her? damn it, damn it..."
Jay also looked at the girl. She is Crystal Montario. All in all, the boys in the first year considered her as the prettiest girl, rivaling the beauties even in the higher years. Some actually secretly sent love letters to her during the past week, but Bren was not one of them.
"Damn, that Crystal sure is the best, but I know I can't have her no matter what I do".
When Jay heard this, he almost coughed his soda. Bren is actually a handsome guy, and a charismatic one. Jay even thought of supporting him if ever Bren tried to date the girl.
"Jay, do you not have crush on someone? Why don't you try liking that Crystal girl and see what happens?"
