Chapter 2: Start of the Journey
1 Quintillion Years past since the start of the training, OK not really but close. We can see Lyris and her wife, Bill, in a room sitting in an armchair holding hands.
For everyone interested, the armchair is made out of the wood of the original World Tree. The room is also made out of wood but just a particular kind, it's a kind that only grows in a single world which was destroyed long before the start of this story, it's name is mystagon. Now the room is filled with a couch, bed, armchair, which they are currently sitting in, bookshelves filled with ancient books, a crib for a baby, and a chandelier made out of pure voidinium, which can only be found in the deepest part of the void.
Lyris: " I still can't stop thinking that Grandma went a bit overboard. I mean mystagon is said to be indestructible, voidinium too, even we only have it in limited quantity, and here she is, filling our room with stuff made out of it. "
Bill: " Darling, she just wants us to be safe; you are after all pregnant. I still can't think what would have happened if we didn't get this method from your elder sisters. "
Lyris: " I wouldn't be pregnant; that is what would have been without their method. "
While saying that, she also stroked her belly, which showed that she is actually in her last month.
Bill: " how many years has it been now, you know since we stopped training? "
Lyris: " I think it has been around 15 celestial years, quite short. "
Bill: " It may have been short, but it was the best time of my life. Come to think of it, we still don't have a name for our daughter, do we? "
Lyris: " No, but I promised to let Grandma name her because without her we first wouldn't have this method, she made it after all, and secondly we wouldn't know the gender of our child. "
All of a sudden, the room began to shake. It stopped after what seemed to be a portal opened in the middle of the room. Out stepped the most beautiful woman they have ever seen, which by the way, means a lot with Lyris sisters and herself being beautiful beyond reason, but she is just on a whole different level. Now back on track, the woman's hair is a black darker than any they have ever seen, her eyes were as beautiful as the stars in the night sky with the right on being platinum gold. The other being white with yellow-gold streaks in the iris. Lips which were a natural light red and a not too small nor to big nose, just perfect. All her features were perfect, her other body proportions were also perfect, so perfect that no matter how often you see her, you will always be enchanted. Her clothes, on the other hand, were white, but not as white as her porcelain-like skin, which btw is smooth and soft, just perfect for touching. She wore a white Wing Chun uniform witch white pants and gold accents.
Lyris/Bill: " Grandma! "
Lyris: " We didn't know that you were coming over. We would have prepared something. "
King: " It's OK; I came here to tell you that you are going to give birth today. I will help, and also you can't refuse my help. "
When they heard that Lyris was going to give birth today, they became excited and jumped out of the armchair, and as soon as Lyris stood upright,, her water broke. Thanks to her training, she didn't scream.
King: "OK, I already prepared a room for you, so let's go. "
And with that, they took off towards said room to bring a new life into the world.
TIME SKIP TO AFTER ALL THAT SHIT YOU NEED TO GO THROUGH
We can now hear the screams of a newly born child going through the mansion of Lyris and Bill. When we enter the room were Lyris gave birth, we can see King holding a baby that just stopped crying and is now looking around curiously. The baby girl has her right eye covered by a black triangle and has a black hat flying above her head, her left eye the only visible eye is the same red her mother Lyris has and her hair, at least what we can see is like Bills, yellow going into a black.
King: " It is a beautiful baby girl. "
Lyris and Bill were delighted that their baby girl was safely born. After debating who gets to hold her first, Lyris won, so now we can see a happy Lyris, a pouting Bill and King who looks to be deep in thought.
King: " Alright, I have decided, I will name her Rose. Yep sounds good. "
Lyris: " I don't want to sound mean or anything, but why, Rose? "
King: " Because I can already see her turning everybody's head, but if you come to close or harm somebody close to her, she will show her thorns. "
Lyris: " Did you perchance name all your kids like this? "
King: " Yes, I did, and until now, none came complaining. "
After this not so serious talk they decided that she has to train as soon as possible and that they should not only teach their style, but too also let her learn other techniques. They agreed that when she is five years old, she will begin training.
TIME SKIP TO 15 CELESTIAL YEARS LATER
We can see a beautiful woman with yellow hair that fades into a black towards the tips, dressed in a black tube top with a yellow jacket that stops above her belly button, black shorts with yellow accents, and a yellow button. She is also wearing black VANS with yellow accents, dancing electro-swing/neo-swing, with a yellow cane. Next to her is a woman that looks nearly identical just much more mature and a few different features, she is also wearing the same clothes that the younger woman is wearing, only that she has knee-high heels which are black witch yellow accents.
These two are none other than Rose(younger) and Bill(older). On the other side of the room is a woman wearing a military uniform in black with golden accents. She also has Chinese Dragon designs on her uniform. She is none other than Lyris, and next to her is a woman in a Wing Chun uniform, which is white with golden accents and buttons. Those two are watching the mother-daughter pair dancing with faint smiles on their faces, soft because they can't help but be a bit angry about the choice of clothing the youngest addition of the Dragonborn family has.
After about an hour if nonstop dancing, which ranged from electro-swing/neo-swing to break dancing and shuffle, they finally stopped.
King: " Good, you finally stopped. Now onto the reason I'm here; I have a job for you three, you have to look over a newly created universe where the core is the world where most of the exciting things happen. So, in other words, protect that world until the heart of the universe was moved, understood. "
Lyris: " And how are we going in? And how is it called? "
King: " It's called ' Highschool DxD, 'just a little universe, but still, it's a universe, and for everything else, I already made preparations. "
Lyris: "Anything else before we go? "
King: " Yes, you are registered as humans down there, so control your strength and aura, and the rest of the information you will receive when you are there. Oh, I also sent a Rider, so if you need anything, contact him. "
Lyris: "OK and goodbye Grandma. "
With that, she hugged King and kiss on the cheek. King also gave a kiss on the cheek and hugged back.
Bill: " Goodbye, Grandma. "
The same thing as before, just a different person.
Rose: " Goodbye, Granny. "
King: " Rose, how often did I tell you to call me Ma if you want to shortcut my name. "
Rose: " But Granny sounds better, so, pretty please let me call you that. "
While saying this, she also gave King the puppy eyes with fake tears combo. King being the great- grandmother she is, gave in and hugged the young girl while also telling her it's OK, and she can call her whatever she wants.
TIME SKIP TO AFTER KING BEING SCOLDED FOR BEING SOFT ON ROSE BY LYRIS
King: "OK, now go. Oh, before I forget it, turn down that beauty of yours else the people down there would die of brain overload because they tried processing your beauty. Don't ask how I know it, I just do. "
After that reminder, the girls opened a portal and stepped inside, and so their journey began.
