Chapter 6: The Cast

<p>Via couldn't help it, but she's on cloud nine. She seemed to be walking on a light feet. Last night was the most fun dinner date she ever had in years. Matt and his friends are legit friendship goals. They were the most true people she had met. They treated her as normal as she did not expect. Sa klase ng career niya, she's used to people being extra friendly with her or the other way around because she had the name. Sa mga unang meeting, sanay na siya sa mga spot interview tungkol sa mga issues with her career. And she expect the same when she had dinner with them. Yet, it was nothing more but just dinner. <br/><br/>The girls somehow admitted that they were a fan. And that they like her projects. She thanked them for that. But it ends there. They were just excited to dine with her. What goes on during the dinner was laughter and funny stories. She end up asking more than being asked. Nag-enjoy siyang makilala ang Warrior Five and their wives. <br/><br/>Napangiti siya. 'Warrior Five.' <br/><br/>Her level of curiosity exceeds nang malaman niya ang tawag ng lima sa grupo nila. Amidst the handsome bachelor millionaire character, they named themselves Warrior Five. The girls agrees with her that the name sounds inappropriate yet the name has already been in history of the five nut heads. <br/><br/>The explanation, ito daw kasi ang naging bansag sa kanila when they joined the school pageant nung high school. Naglaban-laban silang lima for a title. That started their friendship. The costume they wore was of the warrior tribe. Nung inannounce the winner they end up getting the top 5 spot.<br/><br/>JV won the title, with Matt on first place, Red on 2nd, Thor and Buboy on runner ups. The story sounds a little cliché but the girls laugh at it. <br/><br/>It was already late nang manawa sila sa isa't-isa. She went home promising to do it again. Alam niyang through her busy schedule maiisingit niyang makipagtawanan ulit sa kanila. <br/><br/>"Hello, beautiful people!" masiglang bati niya as she enters the conference room. It is packed of actors, actresses, staff and crew as well as the media. Everybody greeted her gladly in return. <br/><br/>"Are you all pumped for our first official rehearsal?" turan pa rin ni Via as she seats at the far end center of long table. <br/><br/>"We are as excited as you do, Ms. Vi," sagot ni Melai Andres, isa sa mga actress na gaganap bilang Priya, ang alila na mag-aalaga kay Prinsesa Alurah na gaganapan naman ni Samantha.<br/><br/>Because this is a stage play, the genre is something of a fairy tale like. The plot is all about a cursed princess. The princess was so stubborn and evil that a fairy-witch cursed her. She is a beautiful princess at night but when the sun comes nagiging dwarf ito. The only way to break a curse if merong isang busilak na prinsipeng magmamahal sa kaniya amidst being tiny, ugly and green. She's loveable and beautiful when she's back to her normal self. She have met countless of prince in her life. They admitted they fell inlove to the beautiful princess but they just turned into stone kapag inaamin niya ang sumpa sa kaniya. It only means, the love they'd shown isn't pure. In that way, she became scared to fall inlove. She's scared to realized that one interest would just show fake love. Until she met the true prince of her life. <br/><br/>"So. Hello ulit! Welcome to the most loved project I ever have," delighted na pakilala ni Via. Everybody clap. "I would like to start introducing my staff. Monique, my assistant," kumaway si Monique. <br/><br/>"If you can't reach our beautiful director, just reach out to me," ani Monique. Nagtawanan ang lahat sa kikay na pakilala ni Monique. <br/><br/>"Writers- Tessa, Lorizz and Stan," pakilala ni Via."We owe them the interesting script. After this, I'll be doing a movie about this." Pinalakpakan ng lahat ang tatlong tinawag. <br/><br/>"Tech, Frac. Props and stage, Devon. Costume Design, the lovely Ari." Tuloy-tuloy ang palakpakan. "And of course, the stars!"<br/><br/>Lumakas ang hiyawan at palakpakan. <br/><br/>"Melai Andres," tawag ni Via. <br/><br/>Tumayo si Melai at nagbow sa lahat. <br/><br/>"Hello. I will be playing Priya ang Princess maiden. I know the cursed of Princess Alurah. Ako yung nagtatago ng secret niya and I take care of her kapag nagiging dwarf siya. I am one of the evil villain," ani Melai. Nagpalakpakan ang lahat.<br/><br/>"Borris Ismael, our Prince Lucas," patuloy ni Via. <br/><br/>Nagpakilala si Borris bowing to everyone. Nagpatuloy ang introduction ng mga artista. Hanggang sa pinaka-main lead na si Samantha.<br/><br/>"Hello everyone. As you all know me, I won't elaborate much. Playing your main lead, Princess Alurah. I only have one wish for everyone. I wish this will get hit and let's enjoy," pa-sweet na turan ni Samantha. Overly confident in aura but nobody reacted. <br/><br/>Via started clapping and everybody followed thru. It's a slow clap but as long as Via initiates it everyone follows thru.<br/><br/>"Thank you everyone for coming over. So I think, let's begin with table reading. Writers?" turan ni Via moving on sa masigasig pa ring tinig. She woke up happy this morning and no one can make her feel worst. Nagsimula ang table reading.<br/><br/>"Let's start with my 1st favorite scene. Scene 2. Line 8. Princess Allurah. Night time inside the castle. Looking by the moon." Everyone's paper turned and Samantha started to read. <br/><br/>She gave a deep sigh acting out. "I wish moon could answer prayers," she said in silent regretfully hush tones. "I mean I have only one wish. To find true love," She read the script out loud. Samantha may be a pain in the neck for a lot of people. But Via couldn't reject the fact that she knows how to act well. It's really her talent. Artistahin talaga ito. "Is it too much to ask, you big lumpy white ball?! Hmp!" pasigaw na turan nito na sinundan ng pag-ingos pertaining to the moon as acted. She hit it well. Natawa ang mga nakikinig. <br/><br/>"Walks in the room. Slump on the bed," basa ni Tessa sa narration ng script. <br/><br/>"Hmmm... You are a princess. No matter how you look," full of optimism the lead star read. <br/><br/>"Stood up. Slowly walks at the mirror. Took the brush and comb the hair," ani Tessa. <br/><br/>"Atleast I can still be beautiful when I am me," ani Samantha. <br/><br/>Via was watching Sam and she smiled. Somehow alam niyang she couldn't go wrong. Wag lang ito mag-iinarte. She's very impressed with her acting. And it's just script reading. She couldn't help but to clap. <br/><br/>"Perfect! Keep that in the scene," ani Via. <br/><br/>"Of course. I'm consistent," ani Samantha being her usual self. The overly confident. <br/><br/>"Okay. Let's move on," turan ni Via hindi na pinansin ang inakto ng lead star. Nagpatuloy ang table reading.</p>
