Chapter 219: Let You Fall Asleep

There was a muffled voice on the other side. Cage mouthed a quick 'who' at her but she didn't know how to respond. 

"Thank you for your offer. I will think it over and respond to you within a couple of days. I hope that will be okay." Her voice was professional but the glint in her eyes told him that it was exciting news. She finally hung up the phone and faced him.

"It was from the head office of Children of Gods," she said. 

Cage blinked, feeling astounded. "What did they want?" he asked cautiously. Usually, people from gaming companies didn't contact separate players or use their contact information. 

"They are having a CoG tournament and they want me to participate," she squeaked. Cage looked at her bewildered.

"They what?" he asked. "In a tournament? Why?"
